apparently, this small corner grocery store is also convenient for buying other things.

Barah Market holds it down for the TL convenience store set. Like most corner stores they have a good selection of chips, candy, soda, ramen and all your other standard fare. They also have a good selection of cheap, hot food. Sometimes it varies but typically you can always get corndogs and chicken wings. Also let it be known that if your’e feeling grimey and happen to walk by there you can cop a crisp white tee, they always have a few on hangers over the counter. They usually have Pro-T/Pro-Bay sweatshirts and bootleg niners fitted hats also. The best thing you can cop there though is a red Icee($ 1.00). Something about their slushee machine is magical, its so refreshing and the ice has this great consistency. I like to wander across the street to Maryland Market afterword and buy a little bottle of Royal Gate(official drink of Turk St!) to pour in my slush. I’m guessing anyone who goes here knows the area so I don’t need to make the«there’s a lot of people that try to sell you oc’s blah blah blah whatever disclaimer». Anyways yea Barah’s Slaps Hard YEEE

i live on Turk and Leavenworth and have a few options to choose from in liquor stores/markets. this is always at the end of the list. i only ever go here because it’s the latest market open in a 1-block radius(it closes around 3:30am). selection is only so-so, and service is mediocre. they don’t accept debit/credit cards! i hate that $@#!

Small, convenient store like many around the area… The area’s a bit sketchy though I’m warning you. They’ve got quick items but sometimes the coffee is not hot.
