Excellent casual place with very fresh food and friendly help. I wish they’d open a place in the Mission!

Pretty disappointed. I work near by and finally had a chance to try it. I don’t know if the person that was making my 10 dollar salmon Caesar wrap was new or something, but I didn’t get a wrap. Instead, it seems like I got Caesar salad soup in a loosely rolled ball of tortilla that was cut in half. It didn’t hold any form at all and I had to eat it with a fork in a bowl. I only got through half of it before I threw it away because it was absolutely drenched in dressing. By drenched, I mean it was leaking and enough had collected at the bottom of my necessary bowl, that I could scoop up at least 2 spoons worth… after eating half. Couldn’t taste the salmon or anything other than the sauce really. Waste of money. Do not come here.

Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious, and I come here all the time. It’s such a good selection of quality healthy food, that is still hearty. Today I witnessed the owner kindly ask a mother to go outside, because her child was literally screaming for a good 15 minutes. Full on, top of her lungs tantrum, screaming while on the floor. Literally everyone in the place was uncomfortable and exchanging looks. Instead of getting the food to go, she sits down and calmly is ready to dig into her lunch, while her kid is still having a full on top of her lungs meltdown. I was ready to just lose my mind. Finally, the owner came out, and very kindly and nicely asked her if she could maybe go outside? Since there were plenty of tables and it was a nice day anyway. She snaps back, why don’t you mind your own business? To which she responded, I am. This is my restaurant(also, LOLLLLL), and then the mom goes — well, I’m never coming back here again and I’m going to Unilocal you and make all my friends Unilocal you too and drive it down. Like, really? I’m a mom too, and I was sitting next to two other moms, who were all shocked at the entitled and rude behavior. If this is poorly Unilocaled and saying that it’s due to not being«family friendly», you’ll know that’s not true at ALL.

Eh it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten here, which was probably close to when they opened. We came in today for a quick lunch while in the area. The presentation is really nice. The food looks very appealing. The taste. Well not so much. Tried a chicken breast with the udon and green beans. Everything could have benefited from more seasoning. Also, the cooking times could be adjusted. The green beans desperately needed a few more minutes of cooking time and the chicken a bit less. I would concur that it’s pricy for what you get.

Their steak fillets are where it’s at! Perfectly seasoned and yummy for days! I tried their meatballs and was disappointed to find them dry. Their drink selection is quite small and… odd. It’s like they offer water, ginger ale, some kind of berry juice, and beer. I was hoping for a Coke or Pepsi.

HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE! Called to book catering midday on a Friday for the following Monday — the guy took down my order then said ok as if he was done with the conversation. For catering you would expect them to confirm the delivery date and time and take down your CC info, but no, he said he would send this over to the catering department and someone would call me back shortly or tomorrow. Expecting a call that day/evening, given it was a Friday and and my order was needed for Monday, I kept my phone and CC close. NOPE, never got the call that evening nor on Saturday, Sunday even Monday! I had even taken the initiative to call back Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday and left clear messages with my contact info … all in all, I will never consider using this place to cater. Don’t advertise yourself as a caterer if you cant get your shit together. DESERVES0STARS

$ 6 for a cup of plain quinoa says it all. It’s also unpleasant whenever the owner(or someone who acts like the owner) is on site — she’s always really curt with the staff and stingy with portions.

Food: So much selection here and you can eat healthy! Plus, it’s fresher than some of the salad bars at the grocery stores. –Mac ‘n cheese: this was pretty good! Cheesy and warm. Not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst. –Thai salad: noodles, peanut sauce, veggies. I enjoyed this salad very much. Probably shouldn’t have gotten it with the mac though because both were rather heavy. –Herb chicken: this wasn’t my favorite. The chicken wasn’t that tender, but the flavor was okay. Ambiance: Clean, friendly, open atmosphere. There is a decent amount of seating, but it’s mostly along the window so it’s hard to have a conversation with a group. Great if there are only a few of you though. Service: Great, fast service. No complaints here.

Kind of obsessed with this place. All the food is so delicious! I typically go for the protein plus 2 sides. You must try the Kale Caesar, Taboulleh salad, Summer squash salad– honestly just try all of the sides. The chili salmon, tea smoked salmon, herb chicken — all amazing! This is the cleanest, tastiest food in the area. Staff is super cool, and they carry Lagunitas IPA! Expect to spend about $ 15/person but well worth it. Go. Now.

Overpriced mediocre food. Indian curry full of large chunks, had to cut them up in order to make it palatable. Rice salad undercooked. Thai noodle salad was almost all thick salty noodles, not much else. I grew up in Thailand, they were definitely not Thai. Lots of cheap cuts of chicken in the main dishes Macaroni and cheese watery and overly salty with overcooked noodles. I guess the positive reviews are by people who don’t know good food. My kids can make a better meal than that! Prices? Ridiculous! No thank you.

A great spot you choose your salad you start with what kind of meat you want. Then you go on to choose 2 toppings and some other stuff. The prices where reasonable with this place being in San Francisco. Overall the food was good and I will be back when I am in the bay area.

Badly over priced for mediocre food. Almost $ 30 for a tiny chicken rice bowl, a beer and a kids meal. «These chicken tenders aren’t very good.» How do you screw up chicken tenders? It gets one star for convenience and one for service. I won’t be back.

Beautifull is across from UCSF Laurel Heights, which is how I found myself here on a lunch break from class. It’s full of healthy mamas, but in a pretty casual, non-judgmental way. They were really nice and offered samples to guide my decisions. They have SO many options, but I couldn’t resist the siren call of polenta fries(only available Fridays, and it was Friday!) The polenta fries, on the other hand, were rather bland and limp. I LOVE fries, and polenta, and this made me very sad. I was happy to have ordered the thai chicken curry to dip though. The curry was super flavorful and filling, full of big chunks of chicken. Nice, clean, sunny spot. Great food, you’re sure to find something you’re feeling. Prices aren’t bad considering the quality, nutrition, and location.

I am so excited to have finally found a healthy, ethnic, tasty, quick, and somewhat-reasonably-priced place near me! I had the green thai curry on a bed of quinoa. I love thai curry and eating healthy — this is only place I’ve encountered where I can get my curry with quinoa instead of rice. You can also get the dish(along with other dishes) on a bed of mixed vegetables. The curry was good, but not the best I’ve had. I think I had to sacrifice a bit of taste when I picked the quinoa to go with it. Looking forward to trying some of the other ethnic plates they have.

Good flavor, good service, the owner is very nice and friendly. Great selection of natural and healthy options. The additional wasabi sauce and seaweed in the wrap was unique and flavorful.

I’m very confused why this place doesn’t have a higher rating as a whole. The venue is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is very fresh, tasty, and satisfying. You can tell they prioritize using quality ingredients, which shouldn’t go unnoticed. I came for a medium bowl of the Moroccan Chicken, which was great. I am looking forward to coming in on Sundays to get my fix of «crockpot» style meals to get me through the work weeks. Thanks again! Glad I gave you guys a shot!

Best green thai curry in SF. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. Delicious organic chicken. Seriously, where ever they source their chicken other restaurants need to follow. The cous cous side is necessary for curry, so it brings up total meal to $ 17 – 18 if you buy the ½ pint size for the entrée. Always hits the spot.

Veggie meal $ 11.50.(One entrée and two sides, your choice.) Tofu Thai Curry = slightly spicy, creamy and perfect tofu(not too soft nor too firm and not dry). Golden beet salad = full of win! Still love it! Butternut squash salad = good. Turkey meatballs = awesome. Tomato sauce = slightly spicy, full of flavor and definitely tomato! Choose your ‘grain’. We tried the whole wheat pasta which was delicious(al dente). $ 12.50. Onigiri-$ 4/each, or 3 for $ 9, or come during their happy hour(3 – 6 pm) for $ 2/each. Teriyaki chicken– it was good but not my favorite. Tea smoked salmon– definitely smoked and very good. It’s definitely on the rich side. Ginger pork-Delicious, flavorful and slightly crisp, too! This was my favorite one. They had one with kale and arame, too. Service = friendly and fast. Prices = moderate. Well worth the quality. Clean good eats. Plenty of indoor seating, and it’s just a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy!

I’m going to update my review from 8÷21÷2014. I have stopped coming to beautiful and I stopped by end of Feb since I didn’t have much choice that day. I noticed that they brought the old beautiful back and the service has improved a bit. So they have completely brought back the older menu, they give ample amount of side dishes and they started to label everything organic, grass fed and free range etc which was helpful. I think service can definitely still improved. I had a server yell across the store(diners literally looked up as they ate) and took my order all the way across the restaurant. He did the same thing to other customers behind me and of course a normal person can get startled and it’s not the most polite gesture to a customer. I like giving tip here(at least a dollar) every time I get a to go order, but not when I feel that uncomfortable. He asked if I wanted my $ 5 in ones — which again– yes please if I received a tip deserving service which didn’t happen unfortunately. Food is tasty, sides are great/healthy — really improved.
