Love the place. The protein bowl is amazing and Anthony is super friendly. Note that the menu changes around 4PM.

Overall, I’m a fan. I just had the fried chicken sandwich on foccacia with side salad. The quality of the food is excellent, and it’s a very attractive restaurant. They’re trying hard, and it costs money to deliver quality. But it’s still too expensive even for the quality. $ 12 doesn’t seem pricey for the lunch entrée with the highest price point, but after taxes and a $ 1 tip, you’re at $ 15.50 without a beverage if you pick up the order YOURSELF. That means, for all intents and purposes, that this is a $ 20+ take-out lunch spot… which is absurd. There are quite a few folks who will pay this, but there are orders of magnitude more folks who will not. If the restaurant wants me(and like kind) back with any frequency, it would need to find a way to get me out the door with this same delicious sandwich for around $ 3 less. The best way I can think to do that is for them to include tax in the prices. This is the most direct, best advice I have for the management if this place wants to last. Otherwise, I’m really not sure it will. This is a tough part of town to make by in because most of the area clientele is not the yuppie tech elite, despite what city newcomers might associate it with. The area still needs affordable, daily options, not post-hipster restaurants with once-in-a-blue-moon prices. If the place already had a cult following, I could see the prices, but as a new restaurant? No.

We got two cocktails and two tacos. The tacos were okay… nothing to write home about. One of us got the cocktail with coffee in it, and that was alright as well. However I got the cocktail with Glenlevit in it(don’t remember the name), but it was REALLY balanced and absolutely amazing. Seriously it was so good, totally balanced and neutral taste but it still had a ton of alcohol in it that fucked me up. Anyway, the reason why I wrote the review and gave it 4 stars was because of our waitress. Holy shit she was the most amazing waitress we’ve ever had. I don’t remember her name(fml) but honestly best I could describe her was a black chick who was just super fucking chill as fuck. She honestly made me and my bro’s night. Thanks girl, you were awesome!

Not only is the food and wine on tap delicious but the staff is amazing! Upon leaving, I stupidly left my gym bag. The amazing lady at the counter chased our car several blocks to return it. I am so gracious! Can’t wait to come back and thank her in person.

Unbelievably slow service. Not at all appropriate for a weekday lunch. Go only if you have a couple of hours to kill.

The mac & cheese is legit. Lots of great beer and wine options, and they have a really fun trivia night on Tuesdays. I pop in all the time and am never disappointed.

This is definitely my new favorite spot. Very comfy seating areas with a back patio on nice days as well! They have a TV back there so you can watch your favorite game or sip on a delicious latte while you converse with your friends. The CHICKEN sandwich is to die for! Seriously! It is the best chicken sandwich i’ve ever had. Also Katrina, John, and all the staff are super nice! Overall a quality place, quality food, quality drinks(great beer and wine selection with liquor coming soon I think), and comfy venue.

(Formerly Radius). I’ve been eating lunch here 2x/week since they opened, but may need to find a new spot. Things really slipping lately. New cook Can’t seem to manage the chicken: one day hard & dry as shoe leather(I literally thought there was a chunk of wood in my salad) & Other day fried to death, & again super dry. Still A comfy & pleasant spot, especially for a beer in the garden. But, They risk losing us regulars who Work in the hood. Well, except for the techie millennials who don’t know good food anyway.($ 11 for a poorly conceived«protein bowl» w/$ 2 of ingredients?) Sorry guys– please reD & try to restore Radius’ former good food.

This café is awesome! The lady taking the orders was very kind and even rearranged the restaurant to accommodate 2 wheelchairs! We chose a few items to share. The food was delicious! The dipping sauce is fabulous. I started with a tiny taste and then tried to smother the chicken in jalapeño remoulade! OMG delicious! The chicken was seasoned to the bone. The mac & cheese had a kick and the bacon enhanced the flavors. The music was relaxing. I just wanted to order more to stay longer. I want my own mac next time. There will definitely be a next time! Love our new spot.

What a find on Folsom. Spacious room but I got the impression it never gets too packed so there’s tons of comfortable seating plus a patio for the rare hot SF day. Legit sandwiches and salads plus other small bites. The Cuban is close enough to the real deal and the fried chicken sandwich is phenomenal — trust me, I’ve tried a lot of them in the area and this one is the juiciest, with a solid fry but not too greasy. The focaccia bread really makes it and the sandwich is cut in half for easy portion control and sharing. Creamy deviled eggs with a slight kick, 3 for $ 3, can’t beat that. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the simple but tasty menu.

Lovely spot and lovely people. They have an AWESOME Berry smoothie served like yogurt with granola. I’ve also had the Cobb Salad, Kale and Kabocha salad, Oysters, and Mac n Cheese. Everything is great, feels healthy, and I love that the spot isn’t too busy and has a lot of space. Will have to check it out for café /wine bar purposes.

Really nice and fast guy taking orders and doing so much all on his own. I’m surprised he didn’t have any help during the busy lunch rush. The line was out the door. Jerk chicken wrap was ok, the chicken was really fatty :( Friend had the pesto sandwich and she said it was… Gross :( Really miss the dishes radius had.

Stumbled upon this spot by accident. Great coffee! Had it iced with a little cream and I was human again. Had the B.L.A.T.(Bacon. Lettuce. Avocado. Tomato.) sandwich and it was delicious! Lots of bacon, as should be the case, the avocado was perfectly ripe, the tomato was flavorful and the bread was fantastically toasted. I also enjoyed the laid back floorplan and they have an outdoor patio in the back! I enjoyed my time at Carafe.
