Carolyn S Cooper, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Cooper for three years. She is professional, and knowledgeable, and an incredible listener. She has been perfectly accurate in her diagnoses and prescribing.
Carolyn has a fun sense of humor (razor sharp British wit) and a sparkle in her eyes as she is asking many questions and seriously taking in all the information. Dr. Cooper is a people –person…great bedside manner… and puts patients at ease by sharing her depth of knowledge and skill in taking care of the problem. She follows up with personal phone-​calls to make sure the prescription has worked and makes time in her office for return visits if needed. I know she is busy with many patients, but she manages to make me feel as though I am the only one she is concerned with.
It is rare to have a physician who offers this level of compassion and care. I am thankful to have discovered this brilliant (and beautiful) woman, who could have chosen many other occupations, but decided to become an internist who will give her patients her time and attention, and wise counsel.

I’ve been her patient for several years. Most importantly, she’s very competent. I trust her with my life, so I don’t say this idly. Dr. Cooper is a good listener, she’s very compassionate, and doesn’t hurry you through your appointment. Old-​school docs like her are rare these days.
i’ve moved three hours north of San Francisco. Changed dentists, mechanics, other vendors. But I still travel to San Francisco to see Dr. Cooper. What else is there to say?
