I can honestly say their food really amazed me! I’m a really picky eater and after my bad experience with Jasmine Tea House, my family will be ordering our food from here from now on. My number love is their sesame chicken! Omg! It was sooooooo good! Also their chicken chow fun and cashew chicken was delicious! Everything was steaming hot when delivered to my house too!

The General Tso’s Chicken really is amazing! This is the yardstick by which I measure places. Try the BBQ pork bun but NOT the egg rolls(they are tiny). Food arrived early warm, and crisp even during a rain storm.

They have general Tso chicken just like you’d get on the east coast. I’d highly recommend it. Mapu tofu was terrible though.

Owner is super nice, and the food quality is always great. Very much comfort food if Chinese is that for you.

quite a tastey soup of orange/yellow-striped shrimp, 1 of my favorite noodles wide-de-hulled-«white”-rice, basic spicy-chile-sauce schlopped onto dark-fish-soup.

Situation: — Delivery via Seamless(July 2015) — I ordered two chicken dishes Pros — Arrived slightly before stated time frame — A large amount of chicken was provided — The food is pretty decent

A small place tucked away at the end of the business district of Mission and Bernal Heights. I’ve been coming here since October 2014. My first time I was greeted by a friendly guy named Joe. He quickly brought the menu and tea. The menu has a large selection. But, I was there to try their shrimp fried rice. Took my order, had a Shingtao beer and waited for my food. OMG, I could not believe the huge portion they serve me. The rice was simply delicious and the rice was not mushy, lots of shrimps with fresh vegetables. I was hooked! I’ve been back and order The sweet and sour shrimp and it was delicious. Large portions and fresh ingredients.

Reallllly good as far as Chinese takeout goes! Bbq pork chow mein and Lemon Chicken was delicious! I also got the Wor Wonton soup which I couldn’t eat cause there was squid or something resembling that in it which didn’t make it taste like I’m used to. But over really good food! I ordered through Eat24 and my food came in 30min! Super fast !

Stopped in here for take out the other day. Had been meaning to do so for a while since the space changed ownership. We’ve been looking for a good local Chinese takeout place and The first experience is quite promising. The space is an odd shape but it’s clean, well lit and well organized. Was greeted with a smile and order was quickly taken. They have a good menu with a lot of the usual suspects you would expect. My order, potstickers, chicken with green beans and brown rice. Potstickers were solid. Good flavored pork, lean(no funky grizzly parts), spiked with green onion or choice. Nice sear to give the outside some crunch. Comes with a good dipping sauce. Chicken with greens beans came in a nice brown sauce well flavored with garlic. Beans were nice and had a good crunch to them. And the chicken, was really nice. Good sized chucks of thigh meat chicken, well cooked. We will definitely be back! Welcome to the neighborhood Chans!

This is good Chinese take-out/dine-in; it’s not Michelin-starred dining, so please relax all you Unilocal reviewers. Save those barbs for $$$$. We’re satisfied with our food, especially our Singapore Noodles(ample curry) and the fish dish. And what I consider my secret to success with take-away cuisine is to pick it up. It’s fresh, hot, and delivered more quickly. As well, I’ve enjoyed lunch at Chan’s, good as well with plenty to take home. Pleasant service and pleasant staff.

Chans’ is amazing! I found them through GrubHub, and they’ve been my number one for quite some time now. I’m in love with their Crab and Cheese puffs(soooo delicious) and they have good quality meat/food in general. Delivery is always fast, I get my food within a half an hour of ordering it!

Great delivery! Chan’s is tasty, offers huge portions and delivers lickity-split to Bernal Heights. They even follow my weird delivery instructions to knock on the window because there’s no doorbell attached to my in-law unit. I love the pork lo mein and crab rangoons.

Just, no. The egg rolls are about the size of an average man’s middle finger. And the sweet and sour chicken was pre-mixed before they took a few laps around the neighborhood delivering other people’s food. Kind of defeats the point of deep frying the chicken if you’re going throw sauce on it and let it sit for 15 minutes, doesn’t it? Well, unless soggy lukewarm fare is your idea of a fun night. Meh.

Ordered takeout via Grubhub, and it was delivered in about fifteen minutes. Crazy fast! I ordered the crispy noodles and the grilled chicken wings. The noodles were good, and the combo came with beef, shrimp, pork, chicken, shrimp and some calamari. Overall, pretty good, the sauce was a tad salty, but I tend to eat really bland foods. Wings were okay, a little on the small side. Would definitely order from them again since they were so quick. There are many more items on the menu to try.

I recently moved to Bernal Heights and needed a go-to Chinese takeout/delivery place for those weeknights you have no motivation to do anything culinarily productive on your own. I usually try not to review a place these days without having ordered from there multiple times and I’ve ordered from Chan’s about 5 or 6 times now. I’ve ordered the Hong Kong Style Crispy Noodles, Ma Po Tofu, Won Ton Soup, Mandarin Velvet Chicken with Veggies, Chicken and Corn Soup, among others and all my experiences have been great! The food is hot, delish, and uses good ingredients(chicken dishes with only tender white meat, not that rubbery mysterious«chicken» I’ve had from other places). I can’t speak for the other reviews, but I have not been disappointed once and they always deliver very quickly. Plus, when you call them, the people that answer the phone can totally speak English and understand what I’m saying. I am Chinese, but I’m a shameful ABC that can’t really communicate well with those from the motherland, so this is pretty key in my opinion!

My friend and I ordered late last night. Delivery was reasonably fast, but the food was awful. My general tso’s chicken was burnt to an inedible crisp. And even if it hadn’t been it was devoid of flavor. Considering that it’s probably one of the most popular dishes(precisely why I picked it– how could they screw this up?), I’d be skeptical of buying anything else.

I liked how fast they delivered and that it wasn’t greasy. Issue was the sauces were one note and cloyingly sweet: chicken salad and prawns with broccoli both.

Average chinese food place in Bernal Heights Overall the place is ok. I ordered the tomato-beef over rice, and the Singapore style crispy noodle. The former was pretty good, but the latter kind of sucked – the noodles weren’t crispy at all, and the meat pair with the mushrooms kind of made it taste bland, with the feeling that it’s a do-it-yourself home-cooking item. Overall the price isn’t cheap either(~$ 10 for tomato-beef with rice). The take-out delivery time was also pretty long(about an hour, even though the delivered with a car which should have taken 10 min of travel time). Would probably only come back for take-out.

I ordered online. They delivered quicker than I expected. That’s good. I had the orange chicken, brown rice and green onion pancake. With the orange chicken, you get four pieces of broccoli on a bed of wilted cabbage. It’s not so good; it was lukewarm, tasted greasy and radioactive. It might be useful to verify if they use MSG. Fortune cookies were stale with uninspiring messages. On a positive note, the brown rice was fine. I wish I could say more good things but I cannot.

I posted this in the other listing… First, I have to say I LOVE the Hong Kong seafood crispy noodle they make. It’s loaded with a good amount of shrimp, scallops, and fish. No skimping here! The chief came from Tai Chi so the dishes have similarities. The place itself is a bit tight, but the food and service is good. Great take out service too. Final note, they are very accommodating for children. My son had an accident and they were quick to help. So, I feel very comfortable bringing my kids here.
