My fav chipotle location. The staff are always friendly and they flow right through the longest lines. The food is always great and the seating arrangement is nice as well. You can sit out in the main area or privately in the back behind the napkins and utensils. Not to mention on really nice days you can sit outside.

I came by to get a quick bite and Bacca was amazing. I unfortunately only had $ 100 bill and didn’t realize they no longer excepted $ 100s so she told me the meal was on them. I wasn’t expecting to get anything free so I was really blown away when she told me. Excellent service fast and friendly crew I’ll assume she is a service manager or kitchen manager because she was quick thinking and really took good care of me.

I’ve come here after work a few times to take an order to go and it’s really great when it’s not busy during lunch time. The workers are normally very polite and its fast and delicious! I will continue to come here regularly.

Poor service. Felt as if server didn’t want to make my salad and when I requested her to top off w lettuce, she seemed annoyed. Didn’t receive salad dressing w my order either.

Something is wrong with the way this location is managed. The food is tasteless. There is a lack of caring about the product., the tables are dirty and there is an overall uncleanliness about the place. I predict the next Chipoltle food poisoning will come from this location.

This is one of my favorite locations, I was surprised to see the low rating. They have a long line and they bust through. Don’t expect to be walking your way through fast but that’s pretty good for a line that goes out the door! In fact this location is popular enough that I WOULDN’T recommend to go here because you’ll be waiting in line a good ten or twenty minutes of your lunch break. I’m not sure really. But the food is good. They have raised their standards since bad news broke about your potential of getting sick, are really careful, extremely clean – too clean, to the point where it just takes too much time off, are Grass Fed, and recently went completely GMO Free. The guac is too expensive, ridiculous amount for a little paste. The music is played too loud, you have to really shout like.

I had the worst experience ever at this location!!! Do not come here unless you want to get terrible service! The associates were rude, and when I asked for a cup for water, they told me that they were out of water cups. It was only 11:15am when I went there so how can you be out of water cups?! I didn’t even want to eat there anymore. Just the worst experience I ever had from any Chipotle that I’ve been to. I rather walk a few blocks to a different location. Terrible.

Not sure why people like this place. It is the Applebee’s of Mexican food.

If you want to waste your entire lunch waiting for a sub par burrito this is the spot to go. I ordered online and did not get my burrito for 25 minutes after my pick up time. The line is no better, but it probably would have been faster if I just waited in line. I’ve been going to chipotle for YEARS and this location is consistently a disaster.

At lunch, I’m the type that usually seeks out a unique food truck or will walk 10 – 15 minutes for a tasty hole-in-the-wall on the outskirts of the FiDi/SoMa. I’ve noticed tons of office workers forming insanely large lines at Chipotle for years and finally decided to give it a try. So the line itself took me roughly 17 minutes to get my burrito. It rang up at $ 14.45 and that’s *without* any chips or drink. And worst of all, it was below mediocre, potentially one of the worst lunches I’ve had in years. Carnitas & Steak Burrito w/Guacamole: Anyone who rolls a burrito like this in San Francisco should be ashamed of themselves. It was a halfhearted attempt to loosely close the sides together; no bunching the ingredients tightly together and no cleanly sealed roll. I get that there is a good amount of filling, but burrito professionals in the Mission manage to work with similarly large burritos just fine. For all the talk about fine ingredients, the meat wasn’t that great. The steak had a few gristly bites and the carnitas were very bland and without any sort of crispy texture. The guacamole was a pretty stingy small clump, despite the upgrade fee. The beans were nice though, probably the one highlight. Had a bit of sticker shock at the register: $ 14.45. For that price, you could eat like a king at any Mission taqueria(and they won’t charge you for chips & salsa).

Always a long line during lunch hours, but the line moves fairly quickly. The portions are smaller than normal :/but it’s probably because there’s always so much people at this location, so they aren’t very generous with the portions. I think the taste of everything is relatively the same — I usually get the burrito bowls. Maybe try the location near market street or Kearny for bigger portions :)

It’s Super Bowl weekend, this place is CRAZY and the staff is still going above and beyond for their customers. Special shout out to VERONICA! She was so friendly and gracious to every person here. I know how crazy it can be working on hectic days like this, and she had such a positive attitude the whole time. Plus the food was extra YUM. Thanks Veronica and Chipotle, we’ll see you again soon!

Not as good as they used to be. And of course a bit pricey. Paid $ 14 for a burrito with only rice, beef, steak and sour cream!

Is it me or is Chipotle getting worse in terms of food quality and flavor? The white rice at this branch is cooked horribly. Slightly undercooked, grainy, and lacking flavor. The pico de gallo(mild salsa/tomatoes) seem to be super watery and mushy here — bad tomatoes? Same with the sofritas — oddly seasoned and super watery — drenched my salad w unnecessary extra liquid content Bleh — there so many other good options for Mexican food esp in cali Lines are long here cause of all the corporate buildings nearby

My go-to, my safety net, my rock. Chipotle never disappoints. Consistant, quick for the days you don’t have a lot of time, and healthier(relatively) than most other options. Ingredients are clean and I like the fact that brown rice is an option now. As the internet says«not all heroes wear capes». Usually I’ll alternate between barbacoa and chicken burrito WITH guac(yes, I know it’s extra. Why is this even a question?) black beans and brown rice. If I’m extra health conscious I’ll get a bowl with the same. The chips have hints of lime, and the fact that all chipotles carry Tabasco sauce(mild and hot) deserves a star on it’s own in my book. Is it the best burrito in the world? No, but it’s pretty damn good. Say what you want about«authenticity», this is not about that. I’m going purely on taste and quality here. Both areas where chipotle excels at. There is something to be said about how they have made clean food accessible(especially in FiDi where a salad alone is 15 bucks) and how quickly they get through the massive lunch lines. Occasionally you’ll run into someone who doesn’t wrap your burrito right, or is stingy for a little more of something, but by far everyone I’ve encountered has been helpful and upbeat. I could not imagine living somewhere where there isn’t a chipotle(I did once for a year and I’ll never go back). Even if I don’t go all the time, it’s nice to know I can fall back on it. This particular location is big, plenty of seating and even outdoor seating.

This is literally the worst chipotle I have ever been to, and I love chipotle. The staff was rude and put the wrong salsa on my bowl. When I told her I had asked for mild and not hot she told me I needed to «learn to speak up» um… I’m an Italian from New York so I assure you I am not soft spoken. The place was really loud and you had to yell over the sneeze guard but somehow that wasn’t the reason she didn’t hear me, like its my fault? Then she just throws my bowl in the garbage and literally slams my guacamole down hard on the counter. It was ridiculous I was so shocked. I would have told management but I had to go to an appointment after. Usually chipotle is a good experience and the staff is friendly but this bitch ass lady was very disgruntled. Oh and the sink in the bathroom didn’t work and a(nice) employee told me it had been broken for 2 months.

The staff there have gone downhill. I had to repeat every single item I asked for at least twice. I was practically yelling and pointing at what I wanted and somehow I would still get asked if I wanted something other than what I was asking for. At one point it went like this: Her: Do you want brown or white rice? Me: BROWNRICEPLEASE(while pointing) Her: Hey(to the chick next to her), do you want to take care of the salsa?(or something like that). Chick next to her: mumbles something. Her: Just a moment, please.(to me) and then mumbles something back to the chick.(Then back to me) ma’am, would you like Brown Rice or White Rice? Me: BROWNRICE!(pointing again) Her: mumbles something to the chick. Then to me she says, I’m sorry, Brown Rice? Me: YESBROWNRICEBROWNRICEBROWNRICE!!! That basically sums up my entire ordering experience. What is up with you people. If you need a few minutes to regroup and discuss something, fine, but don’t make me have to ask for the same thing 4 times! I can see why your line was moving at a snails pace. Work it out.

Chipotle is now my go to spot for burrito and taco cravings. I was a little hungry after a workout session at 24 Hour Fitness. A meal that’s fast but healthier was exactly what I am looking for and Chipotle has it. Two of the items I have tried were a burrito bowl and tacos. Nice spot for a good lunch. The line here may be long especially during lunch hour but it does move fast, seats are available inside and outside. *burrito bowls — a new and excellent alternative, it’s very delicious. For this item, I chose plain rice(cilantro-lime seasoned), black beans, chicken, shredded cheese and lettuce. I also tried the burrito bowl with carnita and it is delicious. *tacos — it’s bite size portions, easy to digest and also very delicious. This item, I chose flour tortilla(x3), chicken, shredded cheese and lettuce. **Both items are absolutely delicious and I enjoyed it. I also like how their food is freshly prepared. Rubric for rating: — facility cleanliness(+1) — friendliness of staff team(+1) — seating available inside and outside(+1) — prompt and courteous service(+2) Overall, positive experience here so I’ll definitely be back. 02/18/2015: Grilled Chicken Tacos on Soft Corn Tortilla(x3) is absolutely delicious. I’ve enjoyed my meals at Chipotle and this is a great way to satisfy my Mexican food cravings. This is another go to restaurant for lunch in the Financial District.

I was trying to figure out what to order for a lunch meeting at work, and Chipotle came up on my radar. It turns out it’s a great option, as long as you don’t need delivery and can pick up the order. Ordering couldn’t have been simpler. I called the 800 number the day before, specified the store, and ordered the 2 meat spread for 20 people. Since we have a lot of vegetarians in the group, I substituted one of the meats for fajita veggies. Pickup and setup was an absolute breeze. The food was ready on time, and everything was put in big easy to carry bags. They included stands, chafing dishes, and fuel to keep the food warm, as wells as pre-printed labels for each item. I got back to the office and setup all the stuff — they included two kinds of rice, two kinds of beans, a bunch of different salsas, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, chips, taco shells, and tortillas. Everybody attending the meeting loved the setup, since they could make anything they wanted, whether it was a burrito bowl, fajita, taco, or salad. And of course, it’s Chipotle, so you know the food will be good!
