Dragon’s Breath! You shoot out nitrogen. Fun but it’s just cereal. We couldn’t even finish a third. Got very thirsty so just got belly crêpe instead. The line was long and it wasn’t even good. I wished it was little balls of sorbet or even fruit instead.

came here last night. ratings remain at 3 stars. milk tea was good, not too sweet but the boba balls were clumped together and tasted a bit hard. it was around 9pm though so maybe it was sitting for too long. also got peach green tea — $ 3.50 was a bit expensive

The dragon’s breath is all the rage these days. It tastes like balls of KIX /Fruit Loop cereal infused with liquid nitrogen. When you bit into it and breathe out, it gives the illusion of breathing out carbon dioxide, ‘like a dragon’. The effect didn’t last long though, as the fruit loops warmed up and the liquid nitrogen started to wear off after less than ten minutes. You have to take your photos and videos fast! As a result, it’s a bit gimmicky in my opinion. You definitely order this for the fun effects and not necessarily the flavor. They get their cupcakes and macarons from Cako, which is not bad. Some of the cupcakes look a bit mashed in the delivery process though. The earl grey macaron has actual tea leaves on the outside, which definitely brought out the earl grey flavor. However, the macaron itself was not as fresh as it could’ve been. They also have liquid nitrogen ice cream, which is not bad, but doesn’t have as many unique and seasonal flavors as Smitten(another liquid nitrogen ice cream in Hayes Valley and Berkeley). If you’re in the area and need a fix though, Chocolate Chair does the trick and is also open pretty late(until 9pm).

was kinna hard to locate but was in Japan town so went to a spot close by before I went looking for this place. Went around the mall n found it.!! I was thinking I’d spend a lot more than I expected but it was less than $ 5! The frozen dragons breathe was really good n crunchy. The smoke lasted a good amount of time. I would definitely like to come back n try the other items on their menu

The«Dragons Breath» is kind of a scam. $ 5 for cold popcorn essentially. No where near as much nitrogen as in the photos they advertise. Also the staff is kind of rude, claiming we didn’t order milk tea and just ordered tea(when we did in fact specify milk tea). They did fix our order, but not without giving us a stink-eye for something that was their fault to begin with… Actually milk tea + boba + aloe was decent, not exceptional. Their macaroons are tasty. Probably won’t be coming back.

By far one of the best«ice cream» I’ve had in SF. The rose is bomb and so is the mint chocolate. I’m a HUGE sweets fan and this is by far one of the besttttt

Very appealing store front but, I wasn’t quite sure why the company was called ‘Chocolate Chair’; however, most of the products they sell were fruitful icecreams and froyos which were absolutely delightful. I got their very berry and kiwi strawberry. TIP: Just order a small, it will fill you up!
