Came in for a cup of coffee and this fabulous girl at the counter, with all smiles, brought me my cup with a cute smiley bear design on it. Sure made my day! Thank you Lina!

I love going to this place when I need a quick bite while shopping! I love their super cute pastries. Last week I went and I was craving something salty so the server Riyan suggest the smoked salmon croissant. It was delicious! Will definitely be coming back to try the other sandwiches.

Five stars for the coconut mousse!!! The cake was a bit pricey for its size but it is worth every penny! Soooo good!!!

I was in line for Blaze when I decided to hop out of line and visit Cocola Bakery for the first time. I have been to La Baguette, but not this place. They don’t appear to be very busy compared to a place like Blaze, but it’s still worth a try. I decided to try a sandwich with a side. I got a sandwich with potato salad and maybe chicken. Then the side was potatoes. It was a potato overload. It was decent. They have sandwiches and a lot of pastries. I decided to try a Napoleon layered pastry. Again, decent.

This is my go-to for something sweet whenever I’m at Stonestown. Cute little bakery/café vibe with seats inside and a couple outside of the entrance. Décor is warm and inviting, their tables are usually clean. A touch loud from the constant foot traffic — people just grabbing a quick coffee or snack — so, like another reviewer mentioned, this probably isn’t the best spot to study or do homework, but it’s a great place if you want to catch up with a friend or just need to sit for a while. If it’s a little crowded, just wait a couple minutes and eventually someone will head out. I haven’t tried anything savory here; it’s tempting, but the cakes and mousses are even more so. There is a nice selection of little desserts. Some of them I’ve found to be borderline too-sweet — others are just right. A memorable one is their coconut mousse(a rounded little cake with shaved coconut all over). I usually get iced tea here, a bold black tea that is perfect as-is… no need to add sugar IMO. Always refreshing and probably the healthier choice compared to the Quickly’s that just opened up next door.

I like that place. Good coffee and good tea. I bought one of their cakes for an event — and it was great as well!

Review from 1÷1÷2016: First of all, Happy New Year to my Fellow Unilocalers! After passing by several times, I decided to make a stop here for something to eat. I was looking for a place where coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads are featured items on the menu. From this point on, I looked no further than Cocola Bakery. Like three other Unilocalers, some items that really brought me in here were of course the pastries. I am certainly going to make a stop here for some macaroons one day. I am starting to get carried away with the pastries. It was time for me to take my lunch break, I have decided came in and ordered a Ham & Cheese Panini. This is one delicious panini and I liked how it came with diced potatoes on the side. Overall, very good first experience here! Here are some reasons for the rating: — Fair amount of seating for patrons eating in — Clean facility — Good service — Friendly staff team

First pastry store when you walk into Stonestown. Store is not too big, but most people do not sit here for long so you should have no problem getting seats. It is a cute café for quick meet ups but I don’t think it is good for working or studying(simply too distracting with people walking in and out, and the cozy ambiance). I tried the hot banana chocolate, since many of my friends highly recommend it. The chocolate itself is not too sweet and is not too watery, so it is good. However, I was expecting to taste more banana flavor. There are hints of banana flavor but definitely not strong enough, though it is still a very special hot chocolate drink. Their desserts also look very delicious too, so I will definitely come back and try some if running errands around Stonesstown!

Never again. They served a cold ham and Swiss croissant without even asking to heat it up. They also have a bad watermelon syrup that tastes more like bubble gum for their Italian sodas. On top of all of that, they were cleaning up all the pastries 25 minutes before closing, as people were still entering the shop. How rude.

Came here with my son and nephew on a Friday late afternoon around 4:30PM and the kids were both craving dessert. They both asked if they could get a pastry so we headed over to Cocola Bakery to check what they had to offer. I saw a few items, the macarons in particular, that were very tempting; but decided to hold back since I was already planning on heading over to Godiva for their soft serve. Joshua ordered the chocolate éclair, while Joe went for the strawberry éclair. They both said their eclairs were very good, so why just the 3 stars? Well, that’s because the young girl at the counter who rang us up was on the rude side. I understand she’s young, but being oblivious is not excusable when you are doing your job. I paid for the two eclairs with my credit card so after she handed me the receipt for my signature, she just decided to wander off doing something else. She didn’t bother to take my signed copy & put it away, no «thank you and have a nice day»…she didn’t even hand me my pastries. I had to literally reach for them behind the register because she didn’t even look my way to acknowledge that she would come back. Well, I guess I won’t be coming back to this place no matter how much the kids liked their eclairs.

After gazing at the beautiful collection of pastries in passing, I finally dropped in to eat them with more than just my eyes. The macarons felt slightly steeper than prices you’d find elsewhere for quality I’d consider just average. The shell texture was crisp without being crumbly. The passionfruit and pistachio macarons I had both tasted prominently of their respective flavors. Instead of ganache, Cocola uses buttercream for their macaron fillings. The buttercream was smooth and light, but it also sometimes overpowered the shell’s flavor. As for their savory foods, the Roasted Chicken Breast sandwich was huge and delicious. The bread had a fluffy interior, crisp crust, and light buttery taste — bread quality one would expect from a bakery. I could enjoy the bread all on its own. Fresh crispy lettuce leaves along with diced celery and tomatoes were loaded into the bread. Thick and tender cuts of actual chicken breast, not thin deli meat, topped off the sandwich. The side of lemon vinaigrette was sweet and savory. Fresh shredded carrots and radish also sat on the side. I’ll need to try the rest of the sweets another time, but Cocola is definitely worth a try when at Stonestown!

This is a really good quality, solid bakery. Located in the mall nonetheless! They have everything from pastries, cookies, bread and sandwiches. Now, it’s a little expensive. $ 17 box of macaroons and $ 10 sandwiches. The worker I encountered was quite friendly which I always appreciate. One thing that I didn’t understand was that I was the only person in the whole shop and it took them about 10 min to make a tomato and mozzarella sandwich. Come on! I’ve waited half the time for a much more complicated Ike’s sandwich to be made. Anywho, I love knowing that there is a good bakery in the area.

LOVELOVETHEBANANAHOTCHOCOLATEHERE!!! You’ve got to try the banana hot chocolate from Cocola. My friend recommended it to me and I cannot forget the special taste ever since. The drink was pretty thick for a hot chocolate, and you can definitely taste the banana in there. It’s NOTBURNINGHOT when you get it so you can drink it right away, which you should because it tastes SOOOOGOODWHENIT’S WARM. There are also desserts and sandwiches. Everything looks very good and it is a great place to hang out and study. :)

Great little bakery inside stonestown! 3.5 stars our of five but I rounded up. I find that this place is a little bit hit or miss sometimes. Most of the time the food and desserts are pretty good, once in a while, it would be just okay. I recommend the macaroons, esp the pistachio and mango ones. I’ve also tried the mango mousse, which is really good, but had a layer of dense/somewhat hard cake around the outside. They also offer a free sandwich or salad for checking in with a purchase. Definitely worth it to come just for that.

My boyfriend bought me a box of macarons along with two fresh macarons from inside the glass case cause I’ve been whining about macarons again(surprise surprise). the two fresh macarons tasted a lot better than the ones I had in the box. There was too much buttercream filled inbetween the cookies. The texture wasn’t that bad but was still rather crumbly. The boxed ones I tried, oh man. Those were horrible. Would never ever repurchase them again, 15 macarons for $ 20 that are mediocre when I can get a box at trader joes which is way better for 12 pieces for $ 5. Let’s be real now. Would not come back and will definitely NOT be a happy camper if my boyfriend tries to satisfy my taste buds with cocolas macarons.

I had a pretty sweet experience here. I walked in thinking«I wanna treat myself today» to some sweets. I bought this three chocolate mousse and a strawberry éclair, and this caprese salad(haha why not). Spent about $ 16. I decided to check in when i was in my car, and saw their check-in offer. FREE sandwich or salad when you spend $ 12 or more. um hello! my purchase qualified! lol so… of course i couldn’t pass myself if i didnt go back in to ask. The girls were so nice and acknowledged my check-in. I end up getting a free smoked salmon sandwich which had a fruit salad on the side. YUM! that was a $ 10 deal too. $$ love it! definitely made my day! I feel like i don’t even need to comment on how amazing the food was, the name sells itself already. The mousse was really good, esp the white chocolate and milk chocolate part was my favorite part, the dark chocolate was a bit too sweet for me. The strawberry éclair, i’ve had better, but was still yummy! the caprese salad was fresh, and the salmon croissant sandwich was well, delish since it was free: D Definitely coming back!

«Bring me to the sea of sugar and spice!» Gotta love cafes that are conveniently in a mall. Before La Baguette opened up, this was the place where you can get your dessert/coffee fill. I still like coming here even till now. I’ve been here a couple o’ couples of times. Here are my favorites: — Paris Brest: sounds like«BREAST» which I thought was pretty funny. But this dessert is pretty good. It’s basically a big ol’ strawberry éclair. Crispy doughy croissants filled with strawberries and cream. Mmm. –Millefuille: dude I always forget how to spell this one but this is probably one of my favorites. A beautiful dessert cake that has an sweet outer shell and filled with custard and strawberries. Mmmmmmmmm. — Strawberry cake: yes, as you can see from my list, I LOVE strawberries. And I like cake. And I like both together. This has a marzipan topping that adds that almondy taste with the sweetness of the strawberries and cake. Ugh nommiez. I’ve tried their mousses, lemon cake, carrot cake, and other parties but the three I described appealed to me the most. I’ve also had their macarons and they’re pretty big for a decent price. The desserts however, are kinda pricey. I’ve had their hot chocolate and their vanilla lattes. I love big coffee mugs, and the fact that they use it here makes me super happy. You got me Cocola.
