The space of this shoe store may be a bit tighter than other leading big name shoe stores. I’ve been inside this store many times and bought several pairs of shoes from here as well. I really like how the owner keeps the inventory of shoes neatly organized. They do have a selection of boots, dress shoes and waterproof shoes available. Need a new pair of shoes to wear but don’t want to go too far to purchase new shoes? Come on in to Comfort Shoes to check out the brand names and trends of shoes available. I purchased a pair of waterproof shoes from here in December 2011 and I am still wearing it. Comfort Shoes seems to be really living up to its name. Overall, I am satisfied with the shoes I have bought from here and the customer service is very good. The pricing of the shoes are reasonable and this is always a good thing. I would definitely come back here if I want to get another pair of shoes. Parking: Street Metered Parking Finding street parking around this area isn’t always an easy thing to do. This is a tiny shop chock full of shoeboxes. Don’t go there looking for anything in particular, because it’s unlikely you’ll find it. Instead, browse. They have a reasonable array of casual women’s shoes if you’re more interested in comfort than the latest trends(i.e., they carry brands like Clark’s and Rockport.) Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly – but good luck finding anything above a size 8. My giantess feet have no place in Chinatown, for sure: P

Matt needs a pair of boots for work. Usually Matt goes to his company’s authorized place to get his pair of shoes, but he was running late for work and this place opens early and have the same exact pair. This small place is sandwiched in between the corner Chinese Restaurant on Broadway and Columbus(Sun Hong Kong) and the small Vietnamese restaurant. There is also a small pizza place next door, which never seems to open. Matt bought the Red-Back slip-on boots. These durable Australian-made boots are waterproof and extremely comfortable to wear for Matt’s work who stands 10 – 12 hours a day straight. These boots are $ 140.00 everywhere including this shoe store and built to last. These are same boots that fire-personnel wears, but Matt’s wears them for his job. Matt usually get these same boots at his usual place and receive a discount. Matt didn’t receive a discount from this place, which is no big thing. The store’s selection of shoes are made for blue-collar and restaurant workers. They carry Skechers, Clark’s and Hush-Puppies among the few lame brand. Matt was very fortunate and bought the most-expensive and the best boots.
