I have been here a couple of times and enjoyed their selection of ban mi sandwiches. The owners are always really nice and the sandwiches always taste fresh. Their bread is always crispy and warm and their ingredients always taste fresh $ 4.25 for a sandwich is a great deal I highly recommend the BBQ pork ban mi sandwich watch out for the spicy kick. I have tried to come back a couple of times, but it seems as if they are closed :-(sad bc they made yummy sandwiches

This place is a few blocks away from my house and my brother and I frequent this restaurant weekly. The owner is super nice and very accommodating. The Vietnamese sandwiches aren’t your typical Banh Mi, but that’s fine because they’re still DELICIOUS. It might take a while to get your sandwich(because they’re handcrafted with love), but when you take a bite into a nice warm BBQ Pork«Banh Mi» you won’t be disappointed. Also, avoid the lines at Purple Kow and get yourself a nice strawberry smoothie with Boba. Sometimes they put a little too much ice, but that’s easily remedied by telling them«LESSICE.» I’ve gotten about 3 fully stamped cards here and I expect to collect more in the future. Thank you Crumbville!

Since this place changed owners I was curious how the sandwiches would be and to my dismay they were AMAZING! The guy making the sandwich, made it like he was making it for himself! It was full of love and yummy goodness! Had a pastrami sandwich on soft french roll and wow was it tasty! Next time im trying the Vietnamese Style sandwiches!

I use to come here all the time back when the business was Papa Toni’s. The sandwiches were fine to good, and he offered something different from the rest of the shops in the area. After he closed and Crumbville took over the spot, I was hugely disappointed to see them offering many of the same menu choices at a substantially reduced quality. I’ve tried them a few times now, with each experience being mediocre or bad. A simple BLT featured a hard, stale bun that tasted a bit like cardboard, and clearly unripened avocado, some of which still had skin on it. I ordered the same sandwich months ago when they first opened and it was just as bad then. I would have hoped it had improved since then, but no. If you can’t get something right take it off the menu. The boba tea was acceptable but you can get that anywhere in the neighborhood, and personally, I like the offerings from the desert café next door(Sweethouse) even more. The décor has always seemed totally random, with back leather lounge chairs and a rustic wooden display cart lined with chip bags. At least they covered up the exposed glass edges around the countertop that looked like a safety hazard. All in all, Crumbville just seems like it lacks any passion or real direction, and with a ton of excellent restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood I really have no motivation to go back.

I second Michael R. in saying that the sandwich I got here was the worst sandwich that I have ever paid for in America and abroad. It was supposed to be a BLT with avocado on wheat. Instead, I got a sprinkling of yellowing lettuce, three brown avocado slices, and two strips of wet, rubbery bacon on bread that tasted like cardboard. It was practically inedible. I was worried for my health because the bacon seemed so old and undercooked. You have been warned.

this by far is my favorite place to get black milk tea. the black milk tea really hit the spot from the first sip to how flavorful it is. my friend that usually come with me likes there sunset flavor tea. Ive tried that one also but I’m a huge fan of flavored ice tea so i definitely recommend you should try it. oh and they have a whole bunch of sandwiches on their menu ranging from 4 to 7 dollars? ill have to adventure one of the«banh mi» sandwiches one day. pro:free wifi, nice ambiance, friendly folks, and awesome boba teas. cons:nothing.

I don’t like crumbs but I do like banh mi, milk tea and free wi-fi. Crumbville offers all three. It kinda has a convenience store feel though they’ve added leather couches, small tables and chairs. The décor is random. The menu board for the sandwich is hard to spot and hard to read. It’s also not clear how much the sandwiches are because it says from $ 3.25 for a 5″ but doesn’t list individual prices for the types of sandwiches they have. They have made to order deli and Vietnamese sandwiches($ 3.25 and up). The three kinds of banh mi are spicy chicken, combination and BBQ pork. Drinks include coffee, milk tea, slushes, yogurt drinks and smoothies. I noticed some of the drinks are made with powder. * Vietnamese iced coffee($ 2.95): Not as strong as usual but still pretty nice, creamy, tastes like some of the canned coffee I’ve had which isn’t a bad thing * BBQ pork banh mi($ 3.92): Bigger than usual and a pretty good deal(the sandwich was filling). They used a soft, white roll not a baguette. This was a decent attempt at banh mi. The toasted roll was nice though softer than usual. The pieces of pork had been marinated in a sweet sauce that reminded me of Chinese BBQ pork. The carrots and daikon had been pickled and were quite sweet. They added cucumber, a bit of cilantro(not enough), a lot of mayo and sriracha. The sandwich had too much sauce and not enough textural contrast. I brought my laptop, got the password at the counter but then couldn’t log in. I saw this message: «The Motorola NVG510 device has detected potential problems with your DSL connection which may impact your service. This problem is often caused by a phone or other device which is connected to your phone line(such as a fax machine, satellite receiver, alarm system or medical monitor) that does not have a DSL filter.» Laptop camper was not pleased.

Crumbville looks better than the average boba place. ambience like a hiphop coffee place. menu: american and vietnamese sandwiches, milk tea, coffee, flavored tea, slushes… misses: no coffee, no milk tea, no 3.25 sandwichwiches, only 5.50 and 4.5 banh mi huh? this was at lunch time… pour: jasmine milk tea(2.99) –very little jasmine tea tasted, mostly milk, ½ cup of ice. 2 stars crumbs: –an incomplete at best. –no desire to rate 1 or 2 stars. –nice people but can they run a business?

quite possibly the worst sandwich I’ve ever payed for, which isn’t saying much. Was as cheap as Subway and tasted a whole lot worse. Ordered the sandwich I usually get at any deli, took one bite and immediately regretted it. Ordered a Ham sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onions with mayonnaise and provolone cheese. Ten inch sandwich had two slices of ham and two stripes of bacon(which looked and tasted to have been barely fried several days prior and tossed in a refrigerator) to the entire thing, three slices of tomato and cheese, barely any onions, and the rest was PACKED with lettuce that tasted as if it had been unrefrigerated for the past day. Rest assured I will not be returning for another. THISISONLY A COMMENTONTHEIRSANDWICHES!!!
