I love David’s Tea, both the teas and the people. Having gone to multiple locations throughout the country, I have always found the staff to be incredibly friendly and true experts on their products. They also seem genuinely happy and excited to help you find your favorite tea. This shop offers both tea leaves to take home to brew yourself as well as comics of hot or cold tea to go. They have everything from herbal, black, green, organic, etc. as well as some seasonal options. Well worth the visit if you love or even like tea… You might love it after a visit here. My only wish was that this shop was open earlier in the morning!

They have a tea menu. This is THE place to go to find creative and flavorful teas! They do have classics too like Earl Grey, Breakfast Teas, good whites and greens. 13 greens! Today I tried the Buttered Rum Black Tea with a bit of honey. Ask for it to steep just a tad longer since it’s a little less strong than I prefer and definitely do enjoy~ I’m in like and will be back! –happy customer

December has become one of my favorite months! Yes, Christmas is great… but that’s not what make’s December amazing. What make’s December amazing is the Davids Tea Advent calendar! If you haven’t heard of this, get to Davids Tea immediately to buy yourself one. 24 different teas for each day in December, means each morning offers a surprise for my palate. Will it be North African mint… or Cherry blossom? White tea or black? YOUWONTKNOWUNTILYOUTRYIT. But in all seriousness, the employees at this Davids tea are the best. Super helpful and knowledgeable. You tell them one tea you like, and they’ll bring down a bunch of other similar ones that may be to your liking as well!

As a big tea fan I’ve grown weary of walls of tins and bright colors when entering«hip» tea spots, but David’s should keep doin what it’s doin because they may do it best. Nicole was extremely helpful and knowledgable and definitely locked down a regular customer when the new location opens in LA. She went from in-offensively gauging my pallet in tea to quickly honing in on the perfect blend. Thank you for the recommendations, guayusa is a new standard for my mate!

I don’t know if I could really get enough credit for how wonderful this place is. I’ve never come across better service probably anywhere else in the entire city. Everyone who works here is a shining example of great customer service. Attentive, kind, familiar, and overall just pleasant. In terms of tea there is literally something for everyone. From seriously Pu-Erh addicts like me to people looking for a sweet, fragrant, tasty little beverage, it’s there and the staff wants you to have exactly what you are looking for. Just walk in, relax, try a couple and huff until you’ve lost your sense of smell. The place also has awesome teaware for any need and occasion so take your time and browse everything. Btw, get a sweet lime as a tea pop, you won’t regret it. Love!

Lovely little tea place with quite a selection of teas. Very friendly and helpful staff. I just wish there were more space for seats to hang out and chill.

Great tea selection, every type of tea and the people who helped me out were super friendly and try to get to you as quickly as possible. This place is great for some flavored tea but if you are looking for super high quality I would keep looking. I bought a couple teas and have enjoyed all of them.

Could you get an entire box of tea for $ 3.50 at the supermarket — absolutely. Could you get an entire box of grilled pineapple tea at the supermarket — absolutely not! Flavors: This is why I love DavidsTea. Flava flave, oh the flavors! From birthday cake, to cotton candy, to grilled pineapple, they have some of the most unique and best-tasting tea flavors. Options: Not to mention, hot, cold, tea lattes, and even teapop(add some carbonated water so it become tea soda). Price: Yes, 3.50 for one cup of tea is expensive and rivals the price of a Starbucks teeniebopperuccino blended monstrosity. But, never have I tasted something that so closely resembled the flavor of what the tea is called — I wasn’t just drinking pineapple, I was drinking grilled pineapple! DavidsTea — refreshing, adorable, delicious! Treat yourself! It’s worth it.

I had watched a few YouTube ladies rave about David’sTea and I was so happy to stumble upon this location, and they were just as excited to have me! After a few minutes of letting me have a look around I grabbed a bunch of teas and asked lots of questions and they were SO patient and sweet. I tried a teapop, got a starter kit, and few teas. This is a perfect place for every level of tea lover, or if you are looking to buy a gift for a frequent steeper!

Great tea blends here. I especially like the dark chocolate and chocolate chili chai blends. The extra $ 1 to make them latte strength is totally worth it. Special shout out to Emma and Angela. I was having a really crappy weekend and they were really nice to me. Ladies, a Lannister always repays her debts.

The products, both tea and non-tea, speak for themselves. They are creative and high quality. The teas are delicious(especially fun are seasonal and holiday teas and products). What sets this store apart is its employees, their knowledge, great service and interesting personalities to boot. Angela, Emma and Grace are particularly awesome, and the store manager, Asa, is both very good at his job and a great guy. Go in, try some tea, talk to the staff… you’ll have fun!

Yum! David’s Tea is what I’ve been looking for in a tea chain(not that Starbucks/Teavana crap). They put effort into individually brewing the teas, and they have a huge selection. They also have a knowledgable staff to help you chose out of all the hundreds of teas :) Tip: It’s a little hard to find b/c a tree is in front of the sign, it’s next to Escape from NY Pizza!

David’s Tea has so many types of tea, it’s pretty overwhelming for a novice tea drinker. The staff there does do a great job helping you to select teas, you can smell them all you want, sometimes sample them too. Very unique flavor combinations. Only trouble I’ve had here is that sometimes it is just so crowded and the staff of 2 – 3 people can only help so many people at once, and sometimes customers will take up a lot of their time. Nice to go get a hot or iced tea drink, too, if you don’t want to buy the loose tea!

ISA’s Tea is what it should be called!!! My 2nd visit today with my sister and buddy. The selection is so impressive !! The containers and gadgets are so Blade Runner cool! You just tell Isa what you like and he brings down 10 canisters to smell. He is perfect for this job, he truly loves tea and is enthusiastic about talking about it and that’s why we left spending almost a 100 bucks. I love how you can grab a tea to go, he makes a great peach one. Thanks Isa! We will be back xx

I will always be a tea over coffee person, and a place like David’s makes me feel that my love of tea is validated. There are so many resources for coffee aficionados, and though there are more and more tea options popping up these days, few are as exhaustive as David’s. The guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable and friendly and offered us his sample of the day. Then he surprised us by letting us know that if we signed up for their newsletter, we’d get our tea that day for free! I was ready to pay for my cup but instead I got to enjoy my wonderful white tea on the house. The place is bright and clean and makes you want to buy all the tea and tea accoutrements you can get your hands on. My only suggestion is that they have some seating inside, as it seems like people might want to stop by, get a cup, and sit for a chat before moving on with their days. Other than that, it was a perfect experience!
