Good sandos, friendly customer service, very nice variety of chips. This is my go-to deli during the work week.

I go here regularly for the breakfast burrito. Really good value and great taste. Sometimes they get backed up with big orders and it takes a while, but usually it moves pretty fast. The line for ordering is a bit chaotic though and I wish they could have people form an actual line. Its basically whoever gets the attention of the employees first gets their order in. After you order, then you line up to pay. It was confusing the first time, because there was no line, so I went up to the cashier to order. Luckily they asked if I had already ordered with the other staff; otherwise I’d have been waiting a while for nothing. After that first time I got used to it and now I just stand right by the counter until I get my order in, then go pay while I wait for the burrito.

First time coming here and I probably won’t come again. I got a half classic sandwich and cup of soup combo for $ 8.75 which is a pretty good price for this area. The chicken gumbo was good, no complaints about it. But the sandwich was disappointing. The bread is dry and stale tasting and its just meh. For a sandwich place their sandwiches should be better. If you want a good sandwich I would recommend good luck café instead, they are cash only but their sandwiches are packed full and their bread is delicious.

Great sandwich and drink spot, mostly for«to go». The sandwiches all look and taste very fresh. Bread is delicious, and they do a good job of putting it together(vs. throwing it on a bun as fast as possible). Definitely a little more expensive than your typical«Subway» alternative, most sandwiches range from $ 7 – 11, depending what kind you get. But the quality is worth it. I’ve never tried any of their breakfast items, but they look delicious too. I’d definitely go back when I’m in the mood!

Enjoying great ham egg and cheese breakfast bagel and thinking about what to have for lunch. The bread is amazing and the soup smells fantastic. Super friendly efficient service and a nice place to sit upstairs. Best value on the block.

Strike 1: Microwaved Eggs Strike 2: The only person wearing gloves behind the counter was the cashier. Strike 3: I have seen sties in a cleanlier state than this place. My search for a decent, freshly made egg sandwich continues.

This place is very affordable and fresh! I’m a regular customer! They serve yummy breakfast burritos and sandwiches. I have also stopped by for lunch and their salads are AMAZING!!! The gentlemen at the cash register are always very polite. I give 5 stars for the business owners and quality, but there is a couple of deli workers that can be EXTREMELY rude. I notified the man at the cash register on my last instance and he looked like he’d take care of it. This last instance my experience was: –I walked in to grab a breakfast sandwich around 9:30am, the line wasn’t too bad about 4 – 5 people. I went to order my sandwich and an elderly woman who looked like she was having a bad day took my order(she always has the same miserable look on her face). I ordered my breakfast sandwich and noticed after I ordered that I could add avocado, so I let her know to add it but her back was turned. I asked another worker to get her attention and she YELLED back at me and said«I HEARDYOU!». I let her know that she should communicate more with a PAYINGCUSTOMER. How am I suppose to know she heard me if she never gave me any verification? That specific lady either needs to retire or get a new job because taking her anger out on customers is a NONO. Any-who I told the man at the register and he said he’d speak with her.

$ 5.50 for a big, fresh cooked, breakfast burrito. Great option for breakfast in the financial district.

I have eaten here as well as used this place to cater an event. The sandwiches are excellent and the service was real good. It is a family business and it shows! For dine in I had the Turkey/Avo/Provolone stuffed croissant and it was great! My wife had the Chicken stuffed croissant(I forget which one) but I know she liked it! For the event I had catered we did a Sandwich plate and a big salad for 25 people. Everyone loved the assorted sandwiches. Delivery was on time and it was very a great price for FiDI I would use this place again as well as eat here for lunch!

This review is for the breakfast burrito alone but it might just be the best one in the financial district. $ 4.75 and it comes with everything you need. They also have a few different choices of meat which is a plus.

Worst caesar salad I’ve had in my life. Gross lettuce, gross cheese, gross rock hard croutons. AVOID.

Turkey/Avo/Provolone stuffed croissant for $ 8.16 is one of the best, large-order lunches you can find in FiDi. Read a few complaints about time, but heading there at 12:15p on a Monday, I only had to wait about 5 min in line, and 5 min for my croissant. Highly recommend for a fast, inexpensive, and filling sandwich!

Which is like every day. Really fast, friendly service. Order first then pay. Only minus is I think they microwave their eggs to cook em?! Is that a minus? Oh well.

As ridiculous as the cost of living is getting in San Francisco, it’s always refreshing when you can find a decent sandwich, salad, or entrée in the middle of downtown for less than $ 10. Line moves quite and the food is good. Great service, always willing to offer a sample of the soup or entrée if you’re curious. The décor is pretty basic, but there is an area upstairs where you can sit and eat.

Used to work in the area and stop(a little too) frequently for breakfast. Now I occasionally wake up 45 minutes early just to trek over for the yummy breakfast burrito. Completely worth it! Bonus points for fast and friendly service!

My go-to place for breakfast & lunch. Honest, hard-working folks, making great food at reasonable prices — what’s not to love? From the great breakfast burritos to KILLER sandwiches of all types. As close to an old school east coast deli as you can get, seems a little chaotic at first, but if you watch what’s going on — it’s simple as pie to get served. Hint to avoid everyone else in line hating you — READTHEMENUANDDECIDEWHATYOUWANTTOORDERBEFOREGETTINGINLINE. You know what? that should be a universal rule.

Really cute little deli with adorable wall décor. Feels like a little European town. The cash register where you order is right by the entrance. The guy was checking out the coffee canisters(self serve, pay after filling up), so a worker got my order in first. My breakfast burrito(got the one with chorizo) didn’t look that big, but it was so filling! Potatoes, egg, chorizo, tomatoes — total was $ 5.17! There’s a back wall where you’ll find the stairs to go up and sit at the tables. It’s set up so it’s kinda like a balcony overlooking«the street below» haha. +Great service +Bang for your buck breakfast burrito +Lots of stuff here from sandwiches to coffee, bottled drinks, yogurt, and snacks!
