I don’t remember the last time I mentally x artistically drooled this much.*
The films I saw or will see:
Design is One: Lella & Massimo Vignelli /​/​/​Masterful type & design.
Fallingwater: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Masterwork /​/​/​Inspiring. Enriching.
Pablo /​/​/​iJesucristo!
Tadao Ando: From Emptiness to Infinity /​/​/​Ask me afterward.
It’s great how the screenings are on various days of the week, so I had neither a bombardment nor dearth of options just because of my work schedule.
Though there are only 9 films across the span of just over a month, the showcase is like a neverending dreamscape of ideas and creativity. Sigh. Stay gold, Yerba Buena.
*Or maybe I do. It might’ve been at SFMOMA’s Picasso vs Matisse exhibit.
