Hey Daniel, If you didn’t notice, most of her clientele, at least in the SF office, are working class Latinos. As a Latina, she should know that this is a group that is not used to questioning doctors. She needs to be more forthcoming and direct in her treatment. And I have no problem questioning doctors myself. That’s what I did. The issue was her not giving me basic information such as what treatment I would be getting a particular day. I don’t expect four star service, especially in the city and with my insurance. But I expect better than I received.

I began experiencing neck pain over the holidays, likely brought on by too much time at the computer, poor posture and not enough stretching. It had been more than a year since I had seen Dr Serra, so I figured I was overdue for an adjustment. Two visits was all it took to get some relief. Another Unilocaler complained about the office being disorganized. I can imagine why he would say that. He also complained that he had to ask Dr Serra questions about his treatment. Well, I don’t know what his experience has been with other medical providers, but that’s typically how it works. She’s a busy provider in a busy office. You have to speak up, ask questions and be an advocate for your healthcare. Dr Serra’s quality of service and the fees she charges are both exceptional, relative to what you’ll find in the industry. And isn’t that what matters most? If you need a chiropractor, or think you might need one, I recommend Dr Serra.

This is a very busy, urban office, as one might expect from the location. The staff were very nice, and though the office was always super busy, I always felt well attended to.

Dr. Serra is just what I was looking for in a chiropractor for my neck/upper-back pain! She took a lot of time with my intake assessment and each visit has not felt rushed but comprehensive. This is what I like about Dr. Serra so much — she takes time to think about what is causing you pain, in my case sitting at bad workstations, and troubleshooting ideas about ways to ameliorate the pain in your life — through exercises, stretches and alignment tips. She is open to questions and gives thorough answers. She also helped explain insurance and workplace liability issues, both of which my former chiropractor would not offer any assistance on(and he even overcharged!) In addition to these tips, her adjustments and techniques she uses have me leaving the office feeling great… and for days to come! I feel so lucky that I found Dr. Serra for my chiropractic needs!
