I brought a hair piece when I had my practice session. Ashly has a great idea to make my hair piece even better. Simply perfect!

Ashley and Alexia did the hair and makeup for my June wedding (for myself, my mom, and my matron of honor), and they were incredible. I was going for a very natural look, but I still wanted to look pretty and polished. They completely pulled it off! Ashley has been doing my hair for several years (and I wouldn’t dare go to anyone else! She is that awesome!), and she lived up to all of my expectations on the wedding day. Through strong wind gusts on a foggy San Francisco day my hair held up beautifully!
I was equally impressed with my makeup. My fiancé doesn’t really like heavy makeup, so I wanted to look natural (but also have some extra oomph for photographs). He told me later that he had been worried since I was «getting my makeup done,» but that he thought I looked absolutely perfect and beautiful. :) I can not thank Ashley and Alexia enough for being complete professionals, and for giving me the exact wedding day look I was hoping for! They are also just lovely ladies and wonderful to work with and be around. I would highly, highly recommend them to any bride!

Ashley and Alexia did hair and makeup for my wedding (me, my mom and 3 bridesmaids) and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! Ashley has been doing my hair for the last few years, so she was a given, and I was thrilled to learn that she had a makeup partner. Not only did they do my wedding, but two of my bridesmaids also hired them for their weddings in later months/​years based on the great experience. I feel lucky that I have had them work their magic on me three times so far!
Their transformation process is amazing, you look natural and like an enhanced version of yourself with flawless skin, eyes/​eyelashes that pop and perfectly shiny done/​undone romantic hair. They are also super flexible and receptive to feedback throughout the entire process — through trials to the final look.
As a bonus on top of their amazing skills, they are just really awesome, fun people. They definitely added to my enjoyment and the stress free feel of the day getting ready.
I hope to have another reason to have them do my hair and makeup again soon!

The morning of the wedding was super laid back and fun with these ladies — they were calm yet efficient in getting us looking our best!
I’m a low-​maintanance, laid back Asian-​American girl and my biggest fear of combining «wedding» with «hair + makeup» was that I was going to end up looking either like a tranny or a prostitute. Not all professionals are familiar with asian features and how best to accentuate them. :) But my worries were laid to rest during the trial I did with them a few weeks before wedding. They listened to what I was getting at and, most importantly, I felt comfortable and pretty on my wedding day. They were able to give me a soft look that was durable throughout the night. Definitely recommend these ladies for your big day!

All the women in my family have been going to see Ashley since I first was lucky enough to stumble upon her several years ago. Not only does she take those amorphous ideas floating around in my head and turn it into exactly what I want every time, I always have such a good time whenever I have an appointment. So when it came to getting my hair done for my wedding, there was only one logical choice. I was even more excited when she recommended Alexia (esp. because I no longer live in the Bay Area and I didn’t have time to go running around to different makeup trials) because I knew if Ashely liked her, she must be good.
And of course, I was not disappointed. Ashley worked out a clever way of pinning my hair down for the ceremony so that I could just take out a few pins and have it look gorgeous but less formal for the reception and Alexia came up with a stunning look (and introduced me to false lashes!). I can’t tell you how happy I am when I look back at pictures, because while it didn’t at all look overly made-​up, I definitely do not look like that every day. And they did beautiful hair and makeup for my sisters, mother, mother-​in-​law, and grandmother as well.
In addition to being so gifted and stylish, I can’t imagine a couple of people I’d rather have hanging out with my family and friends the morning of my wedding day. They are so much fun and so thoughtful, you are crazy not to call them already.

These girls really listen to you and understand exactly what you want. They’re super fast and they make you look GORGEOUS. Our wedding images came out perfectly and my hair and makeup didn’t budge all day, even after all the tears, dancing and hugging.

Ashley has been my girl for cute hair for a number of years, so when it came time to select someone to do hair for my wedding I didn’t really shop around. I booked a trial with Ashley, showed her my dress, talked through the vibe of the wedding (casual elegance in wine country) and we nailed the perfect style for me. She then checked in with me as I wore it around for the day and we talked about which pieces needed more securing, etc.
When it came time to the actual day Ashely was super prompt and got thru all of my bridal parties’ hair and my own in record time. My hair looked even better than we planned and it held perfectly all evening. I posted some photos so you can see how well it held up after a full day of wedding shenanigans, dancing, a golf cart ride, veil-​removal, etc.
I would highly recommend Ashley (and Flower and Gold) to any bride!
