Peter always says that YOU are the expert on YOU, & that all he knows better than you about is medications. He looks to YOU to fill him out about how a particular medication is affecting you. He looks to YOU to let him know what symptom YOU have that is causing you suffering. And, he looks to YOU to apprise him at all times of how YOU think he is doing in an over-all sense; he is very sensitive to doing a great job for YOU. Peter’s staff charge less than it costs to see Peter himself, so you might want to see a staff member regularly, & Peter only occasionally. One or more of the staff may be most appropriate for you to see. He has a dietician on board, a psychologist who provides evidence-based psychotherapy, and three nurse-practitioners. I’ve been seeing Peter since 1/01, so I feel as though I know him upside and down. There is nothing I can say that would convey how good a therapist and how good a psychopharmacologist I think he is. Give him a try if you have a mood disorder(depression, mania, or a combination, or even if you just feel down most of the time, or even if you find yourself sometimes using money, sex, or drugs in a reckless manner). He is gentle, he is kind, & I don’t think that you will be disappointed!
