This place is the WORST. I actually wish that I could give it zero stars. Here’s why: 1. Most importantly, almost all of the washers are broken. On top of that, they’re incredibly overpriced. $ 3.25 a load for a machine that spits my laundry out sopping wet? No thanks. 2. I have been coming here for over 3 years and Betty, the owner, is consistently rude. I always leave saying«thank you» and have not once been thanked for my business in return. She usually doesn’t even acknowledge my presence when I walk in the door. I wish I could go elsewhere for self-service laundry, but unfortunately this place is just too conveniently located. If at all possible, avoid it.

I’ve been going to Francisco Dry Cleaners for 10 years and they’re excellent! Betty Yi is the owner and she runs an excellent establishment with superb customer service. Many of the clientele are repeat customers and she knows many of them on a first name basis. The place is always very clean, everything is in working order and the turn around time on dry cleaning is consistently on time. Most other dry cleaners aren’t as clean and orderly. Betty’s family sometimes substitutes for her(Mr Yi or their children Bonnie or Clinton). All of them are very good. Betty has long time connections in the neighborhood and she knows people for housing cleaning and apartment rentals. In all of my years coming here I haven’t had one bad customer experience.

(–5) stars!!! If I can give a negative 5 stars on Unilocal, this would be it! Warning: There will be some finger wagging, shakes my head action in this review! First, but not least, I have never been so disrespected as a consumer in my entire life. I decided to come here on a Saturday afternoon since the Tower Laundromat across the street was backed up for the day. Seeing that the owner there was not well versed in English, I decided to speak to her in Cantonese to ask her about the cost of doing a self wash. Worst mistake ever!
She looked into my basket and persistently suggested that I separate my whites from colors. I continously refused. There are times where its not necessary to separate the colors from the whites if you know it wont bleed onto another or that theres nothing of importance that you care if anything happened to it. This is my situation. So, I was going to have one load. After I loaded everything into the washer. She started talking mad smack. Here is how it went. «Dont overload my washers. Your load is too heavy. My washers are worth $ 2000 apiece. If you are trying to be cheap, do not use my washer.» I didnt think it was worth my time to argue or defend my point to her that there isnt a thing such«weight limitations» for washers. Secondly, I still had room in the washer where I can fit a whole cantaloupe without having to push down the clothes. I was pissed! Seething pissed!!! I opened another washer, moved all the whites over. Both loads did not even fill halfway. She happily obliged to exchanging quarters with me seeing that I was spending more money giving her more profits. This establishment is definitely one of those where they try to get as much money from you as possible. Also, this one of those where you tell yourself you will NEVEREVER go back there again.

Not the nicest place, but the customer service was great and it was a great price. We are in SF for 2 weeks and I will be going back before we leave, even if I have to lug my son and my clothes up Greenwich. Great price compared to the other wash & fold places in the area.

I usually go to little bubbles but none of his machines have the HE(High Efficiency) machines that take the special HE detergent or machines that have a liquid softener compartment. Came here because it’s literally a block from my place and is rarely crowded. It has 4 brand new high efficiency double loaders and 4 old school ones. There are only 6 dryers. During the day it also has wash and dry cleaning service that closes at 7 but the self serve is open till 10, which is later than most places around. Only downside is it’s right on a busy corner and when ita Sunday or after 7 no one is watching the place(and with no security cameras) so I’m hesitant to leave my dry cycle alone(wash cycle locks)

I love Betty and the Francisco Launderette. It’s the closest to my apartment and offers Dry cleaning, Coin-op machines and Wash & Fold by the pound. Everything you need to stay in clean clothes! I actually find Francisco to be quite clean but that could be because I do my washing in the morning normally. I’ve been to little bubbles and never noticed the guys there monitoring the clothes. If you go to Francisco from 7 – 7 M-F and 8 – 6 on Saturday there is normally somewhere there to handle the Dry clean and Wash and Fold business.

I varied from my usual place, Little Bubbles, to go here because it was raining and I wanted to see how it performed anyway since it’s so close to my apt. Not that clean, no lint filter in the washers, same price as LB, no guy there monitoring your clothes, but it’s still satisfactory. Nicely lit. I just think Little Bubbles is worth walking the extra block for the benefits it has over this place
