SCAMMERS, can you give NEGATIVE Stars! Don’t waste your time at the Stonestown location, this place will try to SCAM you! I took a (literally) brand new iPhone 4 straight out of the box to these guys along with a brand new color conversion kit. They wanted a decent price to swap it so I said go ahead. The guy either broke the home button ribbon when he took it apart or worse yet pretended it was broken and then proceeded to tell me he was going to charge Me another $ 35 for a new button and ribbon! IT WAS BRAND NEW when I walked in and He BROKE It! Second, if the ribbon breaks you don’t need a new home button, just a ribbon, third you can purchase a home button with a ribbon connected for $ 10-​retail. Talk about mark-​up (PLUS– He BROKE It)… SCAM, AVOID LIKE A GROUP OF HUNGRY ZOMBIES… These guys are a JOKE!
***Update… So as soon as I activated this (Brand New) Verizon iPhone on my account LOW AND BEHOLD that it had almost ZERO Signal!!! So I took the phone to a «Reputable» place this time and what do they find? These LOSERS at Gadgethut, didn’t even know how to properly put the phone back together. What a surprise! The phone was missing screws and parts were not even properly connected inside the phone. This place is a JOKE!
Anyone know a good lawyer? I feel a class-​action coming on against these JOKERS…
