Happen to be from other hair stylists. One gal said to me «you have pinterest hair»…best compliment ever!!! In fact she does my hair and a bunch of my friends hair. She really wants you to love your hair and appreciates honesty from her clients. I give her 5 stars all the way!

Aurora Theresa is the absolute BEST stylist I have every had. I get compliments almost daily on the color and the cut is beautiful, sexy, wavy precision. I consider my hair my best feature and I think I owe that to her. I would recommend her without hesitation. Also want some extra pizazz? Get hair tinsel: shiny, showy and sparkly!

I took a leap and chose Aurora based on her Unilocal reviews. That’s really hard to do, but circumstances made it my best option, and I have to say I got the best results. I have had so many compliments, and I have been honest with everyone by sharing with them that I’m having a lot fun with my mid life crisis. I’ve been having that fun for a while, but with old hair, until now — thank you Aurora! Now I look fun too. I took a big risk, and you gave me a BIG reward.

First and foremost, not only did I get a great cut and balayage done by Aurora Theresa, but I had the best time with her in general! She is so genuinely interested in her clients, and she takes the time to learn about you and your hair preferences. We talked a lot just about life and it was such a great experience, especially as a first time client!!! The salon is also small and intimate, and has a great vibe! I highly recommend going and seeing her for your hair needs :)

Aurora is awesome. I went through a few makeup artists trials prior to our wedding. She was the best!!! She didn’t put too much makeup. some artists make you like someone else. She really knows how to enhance your natural beauty. My hair and makeup was perfect for both my engagement photos and wedding. She’s great. Love you Aurora!!!

This girl is amazing. She is always open to whatever crazy idea I have, but will make sure I understand what will work with my hair type.
She is magic with color, I get compliments ALL the time.

I love my haircut, it has so much style! People always compliment me and I am happy I decided to pick Aurora on a whim to do my hair. Reading reviews never tells you how much you will personally like the experience and cut. Well I am happy to admit I am entirely pleased. She took my hair from very long to sexy short and there was never a moment of regret. It doesn’t look granny-​ish and it gives me a powerful confident sexy appeal. I highly recommend her to anyone including my own friends and family. In fact, my father’s girlfriend just made an appointment there today.

Aurora is amazing! I Unilocaled her when I moved to SF and its been so great. About every 3 – 6 months I let her play with color and cut and i always end up happy. I like a change and I dont really know what I want when I come in. I give her the freedom to do what she thinks will look good, and Im always happy!

When I first moved to San Francisco, knowing no one in the city, I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to find a great stylist on my own. I Unilocaled and found Aurora and I couldn’t have been more excited with the results. I kept going to her each and every time for years after that first salon visit. She is an extremely talented hair stylist. I’ve seen her work magic on me and many of my friends. I even went along with her once when she was asked to style gorgeous girls at a fashion show in SF. The updo’s and cuts she created that day were beyond beautiful and I’ve been wanting to have her try a few on me since. She really «gets» it when it comes to what you want and delivers every time. I’ve enjoyed having her cut and color my long, blonde hair and have also enjoyed her cheerful optimism and the enthusiasm she brings to each new hair adventure! If I still lived in San Francisco, I’d see no one but her for sure!

Aurora did my hair and makeup for our city hall wedding. Being from out of town I was very nervous of not having the chance to do a trial beforehand. However Aurora did a great job. I received compliments all night in hair and makeup. Her prices are SO SO great!

Found Theresa on Unilocal.I took her card so i can refer every single one of my friends to her now. Her reviews don’t even cover how wonderful she is (even though they’re all 100% praise). She started by sitting in front of me and we just chatted about my style. I wanted a big change (like donate my ponytail kind of change), and she went really slowly and kept asking what I liked and what I thought the whole way and tweaked exactly per my feedback.
She’s amazingly kind so along with a gorgeous haircut, you get an amazing person to talk to. I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but she truly deserves for the word to get out about how great she is!!!

A friend of mine found Aurora after asking a complete stranger with a gorgeous bob where she got her hair done so naturally I tried her too and I’ve been in hair bliss ever since. I’ve followed her from eight Thirty Seven and will not hesitate to follow her wherever she goes.
Her playful demeanor makes her so approachable and you can’t help being comfortable and honest with your likes and dislikes, she really listens and offers her expert opinion. Aurora is great. I came in with my girlfriend to wait while she had her hair colored and cut. Little did I know Aurora had some inspiring ideas for my hair. She ended up saving my desperate, last minute, great clips nightmare of a hair cut. Having short hair I didn’t think there was much involved with hair cuts but Aurora completely overhauled my style. I will recommend anyone who needs a trusting and fabulous, fun, hair stylist. And the girlfriend’s hair turned out great! Go to Aurora! :)

Aurora is fantastic. After moving to SF from NYC, it was hard to find a hair stylist that could replicate what my previous stylist was doing… and I am lucky to have found somebody even better. What I love about Aurora is that she listens to what you want. She is amazingly talented and has given me my holy grail hair color that nobody ever could before… I get asked who does my color all the time by random people and have never received so many compliments.
She is professional, patient and will do whatever it takes to give you what you want. She really does care about her clients and is a true gem in the heart of downtown.

I absolutely love Aurora. I moved to SF from La Jolla in 2008 and was really attached to my hair sylist there. It is SO hard to find a great hair stylist who is talented, modern, fun, AND just an amazing person to hang out with while you sit in a chair for a few hours. :) Lucky for me, Aurora is ALL of those things and more.
She works in a gorgeous studio off Union Square. Every time I go to her I feel like I’m going to a spa day with a good friend. She always has tea, wine, and coffee at the ready, as well as an amazing smile.
As for her talent OMG. She knows everything. She can do seriously anything and is constantly educating herself on new styles, trends, and colors. She knows products and can recommend things that will suit you. I’m a girl and I love to play around with cuts, trends, and colors. Aurora sends me off a happy customer. I’m trying a color melt this week and I’m pretty excited to see how that goes.
If you’re a dude, she can cut your hair too. I’ve seen men and women of all ages at her studio and everyone looks sharp when she’s done. Seriously. Go to Aurora. Best hair stylist of all time. Because of her, I have that Herbal Essence organic experience every day of my life: P

I had just moved to the Bay and needed a dope «Hair Stylist» and my friend told me to go and get a cut by Aurora. I was a bit nervous at first but once i sat in her Chair she made me feel Super comfortable and she gave me exactly what I wanted.
It was super easy get to Union Square!

+: got complimented today on my cut from two months ago — wow! ;) Aurora is very nice, friendly, very easy to communicate with, and is very thoughtful of her client while on her chair and her client’s hair-​life after, i.e. how happy one will be with the cut, gives styling tips.. the salon is located on the upper floor with a nice view of the city.. overall, it was a real nice experience. .
—: on this particular occasion, she was hesitant to go with what i had in mind and went with her instincts regarding my cut.. a bit pricey — guessing rent is also high — anyway, well worth to try!
note: i got highlights and cut. the highlights was so~so then but it looks quite natural now.. thank yoü * AURORA! * =D

Aurora is in the house! She is amaza-​za-​zing! When I first moved to SF I desperately needed a hair apt. Luckily I was sitting next to Aurora at Irving café when she handed me her card. I knew then I could trust her.
Super friendly and I trust her. Perfect for when you want to do something new or different. I got a total makeover. Long hair and now chopped short. Not to mention she is great with color. I had a deep red color for a yr over my natural dark hair. She’s current and she’ll make you look gooooood! I’ve never had so many hair compliments. My friends see Aurora, their friends see Aurora and so should you! :)
