I highly recommend Laura for an economical & skilled keratin, cut, and/​or color.

This place is awesome. I’m new to SF and have been shopping around for a permanent hairdresser through various groupon deals. After a few butchers, I’ve finally found the place I’m going to stick with.
I had Laura and will definitely be requesting her for future appointments. She is so lovely, had a great attention to detail, is very experienced and professional and knew exactly what I wanted and how to do it properly!
What’s more, I was 20 minutes late for my appointment, Laura was really understanding and agreed to still take me, and despite putting Laura under pressure to finish before her next appointment, she was so pleasant and did a wonderful job. Can’t wait to come back, haven’t been so pleased with a haircut in so long!

I called to ask questions about the groupon offer. I didn’t purchase it because she said I can just give her the cash up front but still honor the same groupon price.
So good luck finding the salon because it’s actually under a different name. Don’t remember what it’s called. Also, I was schedule for 10:30 but I didn’t get started until 11 ish because she was doing her daughter’s hair first.
I’m not very satisfied with my hair. Well, there are many reasons why. I should start off by saying that I HAD dark brown/​black hair. I requested for a light brown with partial «natural looking» highlights to frame my face BUT she insisted that I shouldn’t get it because it won’t look nice on me. She said wide highlights should be sexy. (I guess she’s not up to date on today’s hair trends.) So I was already a little disappointed because I wanted & specifically asked FULL Color light brown but walked out with uneven looking highlights & chopping layers. If you’re going to tell me that a specific hair style will better than what I requested, then at least make the outcome look good but it didn’t.
The only thing I liked was that she was very nice, the entire time I was showered with compliments BUT still, my hair came out pretty bad & that’s the only reason why I gave her a decent tip with just 3 stars.

I didn’t want to have to write this but I just noticed that the salon is still advertising on Groupon — WARNING: don’t buy it! I went in for a highlight and the stylist dyed my blonde hair «BLUE.» It was an accident and I felt terrible for the stylist but the only way to get the blue out of my hair was for her use heavy duty chemicals. I left with gray hair and I’m still dealing with the aftermath six months later. Now, on an up note, they refunded my money and I know that it wasn’t done intentionally. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because I’m certain it was an accident and the stylist felt terrible. That said, if you are blonde, I would not use their services.
