I was not thrilled with my basement expansion done 4 years ago. The pitch in my shower is around ¾ inch per square foot when it should be ¼. Howard did not ask me what kind of stucco I wanted in the exterior of my house and now it doesn’t match the front of my house. The finishes were installed without consultation. He didn’t listen to the details that I had asked for at all. And even worse, he didn’t communicate it to his sub contractors. I had to pay his electrician and additional fee just to get what I wanted done. He doesn’t actually do any of the work himself. He hires subcontractors to do all of the work while he drives from site to site. And he put in a larger pipe in my shower than needed so now both showers in my house can’t be used at the same time. He is not specific about his intensions. He just does them and often it is not what you want. He might bid low on your job but you get what you pay for. Some of his reasoning doesn’t make any sense and by then it’s too late to change things out because you would need to buy everything all over again. One thing that really bothered me was his lack of a set schedule for payment. He would just show up and say«I need another check today.» I constantly look at all the imperfections and wonder if I should start over.

Howard was the contractor for the recent expansion of our house. He was extremely responsive and did a fantastic job. The project was finished ahead of schedule and on budget. His crew was great, and we are thrilled with the results!
