Regis is always so nice and welcoming when you approach the counter! He makes my fresh squeezed orange juice just the way I love it. It’s a gem to find someone so nice when shopping around downtown. This jamba juice used to be a limited one with just a few options but now it looks to have everything on the menu.

This is the worst Jamba I’ve ever been to! The staff is rude and took 5 minutes before any of them acknowledged I was even standing there! After the cashier took my order and slid my card told me it would be another 5 – 10 minutes before I even got my order, it took 15 unacceptable… I will NEVER go back to this location again!

Horrible… takes twenty minutes to make each shake. They have no idea what they’re doing.

I am very unhappy with this Jamba Juice and I don’t plan on returning. First, they did not have all of the ingredients for most of the smoothies so I couldn’t order the smoothie that I wanted to. Second, the smoothie that I did end up ordering did not taste how it normally does. Lastly, the customer service was bad. I do not plan on coming back to this Jamba Juice.

First thing’s first: I like Jamba Juice, typically other locations get at least a 4 star review from me. This place is an exception. Ignoring the fact that the people who made the drinks were rude, impolite and disrespectful, the smoothies were seriously MESSEDUP. My girlfriend and I bought got two different kinds and at first sip we knew that there was something odd. At first they tasted a bit watered down, but we didn’t think much of, maybe that they were just using«lighter» ingredients. But about 40 minutes later we realized that there was something wrong. We both came down with horrible stomach aches, headaches and a mild fever. Food poisoning much? Jamba Juice corporate office is getting an angry email from me. Just hope the staff doesn’t scream affirmative action when they are about to get fired.

The cashier was either really really tired, or really stoned. He was staring out into space. Since he was pretty tall(and I’m short), it took him a minute to even notice I was standing right in front of him. He had a «huh?» face on, with the half open eyes and mouth hanging open. It was just funny. He was so slow, while all the other workers had a quick pace going. He didn’t get my drink right! He only got the mango part down, so they made a mango a go go that tasted funky. *sigh* Jamba prices are a bit ridiculous. How much that little sixteen oz cup costs now is nearly the same as how much an original cup cost a few years ago.

This Jamba Juice is located in the food court under Macy’s, sans men’s section. Although most chains have consistent quality and taste, somehow the drink flavors tend to be watered down here. It is still a great way to refresh after being parched and energy-less during those long shopping trips around Union Square. Instead of sipping it in the basement, walk across the street to the park to people-watch while you slurp.

I’ve been to this Jamba at Macy’s Cellar before, never too disappointed, but on this day I was. This makes a second JJ in the SF shopping area being disappointing(the other is SF Centre) I know Jamba introduced new flavors and boosts this weekend(Aug 2007), but I wasn’t sure if they ‘reformulated’ the drinks or not… when I say ‘reformulated’, I mean watered-down… my mango-a-go-go, a classic, was very watery and lacked much mango taste. A really good Jamba takes a while to drink… I slurped this Original size jamba in a few seconds; it went down like water. Oh… prices went up as part of the Jamba re-introduction. At least they were handing out BOGO for Functional Drinks.

My 3rdJJ gets 3 Stars. It’s not the worse and it’s not the best. I wish I didn’t have to walk down the steps, down the escalator, walk left into the food court. They make you WORK for your drink! Ahhh Acai… I feel better already.

Okay, I ADORE Jamba Juice. But… * This location is highly understaffed around lunch time. You think that since it’s located in the high traffic area that is the Cellar of the biggest Macy’s in Northern California, it wouldn’t be. I’ve seen this place being run with only two people around lunch. * I don’t want to name names, so let’s call a certain employee…“L.” For the year plus that I’ve been visiting this location, «L» has been the laziest Jamba employee I have ever seen. * «L» talks on the phone while he’s ringing up customers. * He jokes around with his coworkers as they are frantically trying to work, effectively slowing them down while there are 20 smoothies to be blended and 10 customers waiting to order. * «L» constantly flirts with women, often taking 5 minutes to get one order because he’s so busy telling them«Dayam girl, you lookin’ guuuuuude toooo-day!» * Where are the darn managers when you need them? Oh right. They’re in their little office shootin’ the shit… yes kids, we, the customers on the outside, can hear you even with your door closed as you talk about your romps with your girlfriends. Really, it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to get my smoothie! Sigh. Maybe I’m just bitter because«L» has never told ME I was ‘lookin foine.’ What’s a girl gotta wear so that she can get her peach pleasure within a reasonable period of time?

My sister was in town and she was craving Jamba Juice from way back when she was living in the area… She reminisced about how good the drink was back then when and she has decided to go with the classic smoothie of Banana Berry which supposedly contains frozen bananas, frozen berries but unfortunately, we saw that the server scooped two scoops of ice-cream(?) and mixed it with some«sugared» water. We were skeptical how the drink will turn out. It didn’t seemed to be mixed the right way… When my sister took the first sip, she was utterly disappointed, she made a face. I tried… the drink was not smoothie-like but was somehow just tasting of sugar-filled water in a thicker consistency without any bits of banana nor berries. Perhaps it’s just this location or they have gone down hill with their ingredients.

Oh Mango-a-go-go with extra mango and an immunity boost, how do I love thee! I love how super smooth Jamba can get all the stuff to be. Not a better good for you pick me up to be found. At least not in the category of «Sweet thing that won’t rot you from the inside out».
