Jennifer Fernández, PhD

I met Dr. Fernandez in 2011 at the Pathways Institute where we worked together for two years. During my time there, she and I co-​facilitated multiple therapy groups together. In our collaborations, I found Dr. Fernandez to be a highly skilled clinician. She brings compassion, warmth, and intelligence to her work as a therapist. She has a grounded presence and is genuine, insightful and direct in her interactions with clients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Fernandez specializes in working with people struggling with addiction and with those who have been impacted by addiction. In my experiences with Dr. Fernandez, the breadth of her knowledge regarding the many aspects of addiction and the processes of recovery continuously impressed me. Dr. Fernandez has that rare ability to skillfully combine her keen intellect and considerable knowledge with an intuitive responsiveness and attunement to the unique experience and individual needs of her clients. I have great respect for Dr. Fernandez and I highly recommend her.
