Customer service was very unprofessional. I came in looking for a pair of non slip all black TOMS and when I had inquired with the young man at the door his response was, after pointing out a pair of regular colored TOMS«ummm I don’t really know much about these shoes, giggling and in a very playful non-serious way. Then he called over his other co-worker who basically acted the same way he did. These employees do not take there customers seriously.

Don’t buy shoes here!!! BADCUSTOMERSERVICE. I’d rather shop at a bigger company retail store like Macys. So what happened was I purchase shoes one week and the following week they went on sale. I called to see if I could get a price adjustment Christian the co-manager says no and also said that if I returned the shoes they would refund me the lower sale price. WTF Shoes are BRANDNEW& I have my receipt and pit chased ONLYONEWEEK ago. Does that make any freakin sense??? Horrible customer service. Trust me SHOP elsewhere

By far worst service I have EVER gotten. Went in with my two sisters and mom and 5 month old niece one of my sisters has been waiting to get a pair of uggs from there and she finally found them, it was about 9am and the doors were open so we went in and they had the worst attitude telling us to get out and calling us bitches and saying«F You». Disgusting. Will NEVER go back.

I’ve been trying to find new Pumas that fit right for a long time. Jessie helped me and she was knowledgable, kind, approachable and really awesome. She was patient with all my indecision and helped me finally figure what I want. A really great experience.

Went after checking online to make sure they had the shoe and size I wanted in stock. Got there and they didn’t have it. Ok, they were nice enough to help me special order it. It came the next day which was great, unfortunately the sales person who took my order got the size wrong after I told them twice which size. I call about exchanging it and they say I have to return the shoes first. I ask if they can order the shoes and then I will go to the store to exchange them when the shoes get there because I don’t have the time to go downtown twice, and they say that isn’t possible after putting me on hold and hanging up on me. I get that your store is busy, but when it’s your store/people who have made two mistakes, it would be nice to get some actually help in fixing the mistakes.

I stop in every once in a while to browse on my quest for the perfect shoe. If you stop in, look for the girl with the dreadlocks(I totally don’t remember her name xD) But she’s helped me a few times and strikes a perfect balance of helping you but also letting you graze and browse.(Which is nice since I want to look at shoes, not be, like, SOLD a shoe I’m not interested in, do you know what I mean?) She was also helpful with her co-workers which is always an A+ in retail! 4 stars so this review for 2 reasons: So this review shows up AND because I like the layout, but I didn’t see the Converse wall until I was leaving the store :(

Reygie was totally helpful. I have been in the store a few times, and people working there weren’t always friendly, but I decided to give them another chance because I really wanted a pair of Classic Doc Martens. Reygie was patient, listened to what I was saying, and was very friendly. I bought a pair of Doc Martens and I may go back for another pair. Reygie showed me all the boots that were on sale, and brought me two different sizes of the boots I was interested in, since I am between sizes. His patience was really appreciated, especially because I tend to be a bit high maintenance. He even listened to my little«history lesson» about Doc Martens, and the working class in England, and we chatted about the music that was playing in the store. If you go to this location, make sure Reygie takes care of you! This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in a shoe store.

Journey’s is one of those stores that attract annoying tweens. Combine that with the heart of Union Square and you’ll get the picture…

Nice selection of skater shoes. Had the gnarly DC’s my son wanted — and on sale, too, so that was a bonus. And they’re not priced that high to begin with. The guy that helped us was very friendly and we had a great conversation about Oakland, where he is kinda sorta considering living. Advised him that 14th& Broadway is a great place to have an apartment if you’re a fan of having every protest or Occupy movement in your backyard… to each his own. Anyway, easy to get to out of the Powell St. BART station. We’ll be back.
