Kern – Global Language Services

I was looking for a company to translate a birth certificate quickly. Called many places that I found online, but Kern global was the only one who actually had a person answer the phone!
Marie was the person who helped me and she is awesome! Very knowledgeable and polite. I definitely recommend Kern Global for all translating purposes.

Great service for a more than reasonable price — it was certainly the lowest of all the companies I had contacted with excellent turnaround time. From start to finish, the whole process only took seven days — and this includes the two days off for the weekend, so technically it only took five days.
I got a quote for my translation (just a university document) within a few hours of my initial request. Both Marie and Alexis were extremely helpful and friendly and were more than happy to work with me to accommodate my request. However, I’d make sure to check over your translation when they send it to you for review — there were a few minor mistakes in mine (which is perfectly understandable as subject-​specific translations can be tricky). Thankfully, Alexis was nothing but patient and understanding when I brought this to her attention, and she checked it with the translator before sending me a revised copy.
Normally, I’d knock off a star for something like that, but honestly, with the quick turnaround time and the terrific customer service, Kern deserves every single one of the five stars! So thank you, Alexis and Marie! I’d definitely recommend this translation service.

Excellent service. We needed a document translated in less than a week and they did it no problem. We also needed some last minute revisions and they were totally accomadating. Marie was a joy to work with, great communication and very helpful. We will definitely use them again for translations!

Kern Unilocal Review
I was looking for a translation company to translate my High School Transcript and Diploma for me to register to San Francisco State University.
I directly went to
and hit «translation — San francisco» and received a list of ⁶⁄₇ choices.
I only emailed the people and companies who left an email/​website on the search page. (I rather work with email than phone)
My number of choices was already going down because some of them don’t leave any email or website.
I create ONE email (asking for the service, quote and Therms & Conditions) and emailed it to those 5 left.
I know it was 1.00 am when I sent everything so I wasn’t expecting an answer immediately… but KERN get back to me the first hour in the morning
/​/​An other company contacted me the following day, telling me that they were in Holiday until February 1^st (so 3 weeks I would have to wait) and an other one even just sent me more and more links to visit and read… /​/​
I didn’t wait any longer, I downloaded all my files into my email and everything was sent to KERN.
The same day, I received my price/​quote. (it was a Friday)
During the weekend I had to transform my documents because it was not matching with what the school needed, so I came back to them the Monday morning and 5h after, I received my final price/​quote and agree with them to start the work.
I will no be able to compare prices with others here (because I don’t have) but KERN was kind enough to understand that I was a foreign student and they helped me a lot for that too.
I wil just give the 5 start review based on the Customer Service. Fast answer and also all my questions were answer immediately.
I would like to thank personally Alexis Wallace, who is the project manager and the one who receive and answer the emails for KERN. (She was also a French-​English Translator before taking this post)
She took care of my files and was always available for me at any time.
So, the 5 stars review goes for her especially.
For now, the French-​English translator is working on my files and I should receive everything before the end of the week.

I love Kern Translation, primarily because of Charlotte Sanford, but overall they are the best translation company that I have ever hired. We have to do translations for several of our clients, and I found Kern when my old translator decided to have a baby. We found Kern & they were able to help us out in a pinch. I would recommend Kern SF to anyone.
