Just a PSA. This KFC has CLOSED(all windows have been boarded already), because the location will be replaced by condos. The overall negative reviews doesn’t reflect how popular this place was with the mostly drunken crowd, a refuge from the nearby overpriced Marina restaurants. Also it’s hard to believe that this shop was +40 yrs old.

I just passed this location, during their(former) normal business hours and it is closed. Their electric signs are dark and they’ve papered-over all the glass. They’ve also left farewell notes inside the doors, thanking customers for their patronage and loyalty.

Colonel Sanders would roll over in his grave if he saw how this place is maintained and the quality of the food they put out!

Closes early. 3 Parking Spots. Very dirty inside. No chicken when it gets late, only Taco Bell. IDK why there are bums in here, I didn’t know bums hung out in the Marina… If you’re coming here for food, just get in and get out asap, you don’t wanna stick around. Especially when the kids get out of school…

I go to Taco Bell when I’m hungry for a quick cheap meal. This place does a pretty good job. The tour buses stop in front so it can be a bit busy, it’s all timing. Limited parking but I get lucky sometimes and find parking in the back. I give management a good check here because the people are very friendly behind the counter. Friendliest Taco Bell on earth. I will get a chicken breast sometimes when I want to go out of the box. The food is fresh and the staff try to keep the place clean. This place is not a place for homeless, the whole city is a place for homeless.

I haven’t had fast food in years and recently stumbled upon this Taco Bell/KFC combo diner. The staff is made up of teenagers, so you get that quality of service. I was in the mood for some quick fried chicken and I always see their commercials on tv about their potato wedges and popcorn chicken. This obviously isn’t fine gastronomy, but for the price, prep time, and neighborhood, it’s not bad. Funny thing about this place: it’s a contender for my $ because the other restaurants in this neighborhood also offer average(at best) service with mediocre/bland food offerings.

Sandwiched between the great restaurants on Chestnut, Union and Fillmore street lies KFC(slash Taco Bell). If you are going to this KFC over the many 4 – 5 star rated places it probably means you don’t want to think, don’t want to spend whatever ungodly amount SF wants to charge for a sandwich or don’t care about what fusion cuisine is the latest hotness… I have been a few times. It isn’t that clean. There will be guys trying to argue about price. 2 hours before closing they will be asking the kitchen«do we have enough chicken for the bucket?». The waft of weed on this corner usually overwhelms the expected smell of fried chicken. You know, the usual. This isn’t a great KFC, but what did you expect? It is a KFC. It has fried chicken, drinks, tacos and parking!

The food is taking way too long. The place is not very clean for suppose to be a good neighborhood? :/the receipt machine was busted? The place is so dirty? And the food is taking longer than the regular restaurant? What is going on?! I thought this is a fast food??? The manager needs to step it up in this store!!!

I had to request my order to go because this place looked like a shelter. A few homeless were people asking for money inside the restaurant and another guy was taking a nap while others were having lunch. I left thinking about the lack of management and how this business suffers. I’ve got nothing against the homeless population but they should not be allowed to camp at KFC. I won’t return unless I lose my home and I need a place where I can live without paying rent.

At 9PM they put up most of the chairs and hang the rugs. The place closes at 10 or 11 depending on the day. So, if you are eating they will put up the chairs around you and sweep around your feet. If you look from the outside at this time it would be understandable to think the place was closed. I’m sure the owner would be thrilled to know about this. I have dealt with two workers with extremely bad attitudes. One got angry at me when I took a chair down. If you are wondering why I eat there it is because it is close to work and the price is right.

I think this restaurant doubles as a homeless shelter. I never, ever eat fast food. But I ducked in to use the bathroom and was shocked to find a number of men clad in dirty, torn clothing hunkering in chairs around the room. Their hair hadn’t been cut or washed in years. The bathroom had clearly been used as a homeless shower. The smell was astonishing. I’m not sure what that smell is that comes out of KFC but I don’t think it originates from a natural source. Perhaps from an factory in New Jersey?

I went with my family have dinner and we ordered our to dine in. The location was extremely dirty. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he said that they were short staff and apologized for the dirty mess but did nothing to the respect of having someone come out and clean up the tables.

1. One of the Cleanest KFC/Taco Bells in the city. 2. Fast service around lunchtime! I had the $ 2 for 3 Bean Burritos & it only took them 1 to 3 minutes to gimme my order. Also the most appealing & sizable bean burritos from a Taco Bell. 3. Self serve sauce packets & drinks at stations. 4. Good seats & views as well as bathrooms. 5. One of the most reasonably priced places to eat In Marina Cow Hollow. ;-)

I feel bad for the staff that have to work late at night on weekends. While I was in line I witnessed a very drunk girl yell at the staff for god knows what. After ordering I went to wait in line for the restroom. The girl was in there screaming and had knocked over every thing in the bathroom and thrown paper all over the ground. The staff was calm and collected and handled it very well. I was impressed. They’re all super nice and friendly.

Ha ha. Another reason why a huge percentage of Americans are overweight. Maybe we can save the dunkin donuts franchise and go ahead and make a Taco Bell /KFC /Donut emporium. Every time I’ve picked food up from here(there’s no way I’m eating inside this place), I generally battle my way through frat-stars and marina-mongers. The food is generally cold by the time I get it and the tacos taste like chicken, the chicken like tacos. It’s all the same waste that I’m consuming so that doesn’t bother me, however I prefer my gruel warm.

So I decided to go to KFC for lunch on a Tuesday and ordered one crispy Tuesday special and its not the first time they forgot my order and unfortunately they got my order mixed up a few times with another customer which I ordered Crispy and I was given original when it did not matter to me as much. I would also suggest taking your order to go because the tables are super dirty and sticky. I would not comeback for a while until this place improves the staff and the cleanliness of this KFC.
