We ordered some food for delivery. We always order food from them because they’re good and delicious but the problem is tonight our food was cold they forgot the salsa and the tortillas. Delivery was on time that’s one thing about them they’re good on that. I gave them 3 stars. Thank you even thu it’s cold still delicious.

A simple and casual dining experience good as a late night choice.
As you walk in its everything you imagine a Mexican restaurant to be in terms of decoration and ambiance: beautiful tile floor, heavy red vinyl tablecloths, the colors inside… the friendly service…
Food can be seen being prepared or put together… the grill is on the wall behind that… sort of like a Chipotle set-​up.
Go for the ambiance, go if its late night… go if you’ve got a big group of friends — you will easily get accommodated.

Love this place. Huge portions and they put a lot of cheese, sour cream, guacamole on everything. Mojado Burritos are bomb and their Papas Fritas A La Menudo (super fries) are too good. Alhambras is also smacking. I go all the time and never had a bad plate.

I come here often, order a few tacos de carne asada, and sometimes the caldo de pollo. Everything is tasty and fresh, well portioned (particularly, not too big, like in other places), and the service is nice. They also have a salsa bar. Nice neighborhood place!

I’d probably give this place more like 3.5 stars but I like to be generous. Very simple down to earth casual place serving home style Mexican food. Not grand in décor but pretty spacious and relaxing with a big screen tv. You can stay here and just eat while watching tv and chill and they won’t bother you. Love the pork dishes. They’re very generous with the tortillas.

This place was underwhelming to say the least.
Price of Regular Burrito: 6.50
Price for Super: 7.50
Length: 6 inches but thick
Salsa Game: their salsa wasn’t very fresh or particularly memorable by any means.
Overall Feeling: I think this place is okay for a burrito but with better options nearby literally within walking distance. There is really no excuse. Advertising and marketing can only pull you so far as a business. If your product in this case a burrito is inferior to competition. I’m surprised it even exists.

The food here is mediocre but at least the servings are large. It was funny to me that the name is Taqueria Menudo but the actual menudo is very bland. Also the cook at the time who the cashier said was also the owner was extremely rude. I don’t know if this guy was having a bad day or what but he didn’t want to cook my burrito the way I wanted it. Just by the way I was treated I will never go back.

Terrible service. Been here twice and both times they messed up our orders. Both times we ordered a shrimp burrito and was given a carne asada burrito instead. They would not fix our oder even though my mom is a pescaterian!

Went here for my husband’s birthday dinner, yup he’s a simple guy. I recommended this place because it looked like it was a big place since some of his friends were coming. It’s also been bookmarked for a long time but have never gone here.
My litmus test whenever I go to a taqueria is super quesadilla with carnitas. Husband’s is super burrito with carne asada. I really wanted to try their menudo since they serve it all the time and hello menudo is on their name. I guess it’s good that I didn’t get it coz that super quesadilla was huge! Ended up sharing the half with another friend. Very meaty too.
To further my review, I gotta come back here again to try their stuff again and their menudo.

I’ve been here a couple of times in the past, and it was mediocre. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. And this time, I ordered a Super Quesadilla for take out. When I got home, I started eating. I wasn’t even through half of the first quesadilla yet, and I found a piece of hair. I was disgusted and I didn’t even finish the whole thing. I just stopped eating and threw it all in the trash.
So to the people thinking of coming here: Beware, there might be a piece of hair lurking in your food.

Ordered today 11−12−2015@06:20pm, we use the EAT 24 app so we thought it could save us time, anyway my husband pick the order and when he got there they dont have a clue whatsoever. They rushed making the orders, all the instructions we specified on our orders were not correct. The super burrito is SUCK!!! The chicken is super dry, like crispy burnt dry! They try to hide it by putting too much sour cream in which we specifically mentioned to the order NO SOUR CREAM! We requested black beans, they put refried beans. We should’ve just went to TACO BELL!

Posole was probably the best I’ve ever had and hit the spot on a day when I needed something comforting. Also had a super taco and it was ridiculous and impossible to eat. It was swimming in a pool of liquid and grease and was so humongous I couldn’t even pick it up. Tried to knife and fork it and it cut through the paper on the bottom that was wet from the liquid… such a waste.

Fattest burrito under $ 10 in SF. Solid flavor. This is thr onlynplace that does half and half meat without trying to chatge me extra. My go to is half al pastor half carnitaa. Its bomb! The carnitas cooked extra crispy is bomb. Reasonable price. Usually empty, so the service is fast!
My go to spot in the excelsior. Use to be Guadalajara, but I take this place now over that spot. Love Taqueria Menudo, I’m a weekly regular.

Huge portion for the price so it was definitely worth it to spend $ 7 for a Super Burrito, I got two meals out of that burrito.
Atmosphere of the restaurant was as «Bomb-​Ass-​Mexican-​Food-​in-​the-​Mission» as you can get. One of my friend’s menudo bowl had so much meat in it, he didn’t even know what to do with the left overs.
Friendly cashier, they don’t speak much English, but I love it because as long as they’re completely genuine and hospitable to me at 11:59PM — it’s a good Unilocal review they get.
Plus, FREE chips and salsa bar ! Also, check in on Unilocal for a free drink !

Altogether one of the best al pastor super burritos I’ve ever had. An absolute specimen, mixing that ever so rare charred crunchy texture while staying juicy.
The carne asada on the other hand is pretty mediocre.

Great taqueria to actually dine in and enjoy some football or futbòl! Food is great workers are friendly and has a great atmosphere! Free soda if you check in!
