I am very satisfied with Ling’s performance. I’ve been in SoCal for 10 years and Boston, MA for 2 years. Hence, I’ve had different hair stylist and tried many; however, I was unable to find anyone like her. So, when I get a chance, I come back to her. She is wonderful because I think she goes above and beyond what is necessary to cut hair. I feel like she is a «hair doctor». lol. She respects her client’s opinions and she adds her own where things can be improved.
I told her how I like my hair to be swept to the side and to be sure I knew how to style it, she took time to explain. I really appreciate her care and concern. She is really good at her craft and continues to improve.

My hair was almost down to my waist, and I had been dying to go shorter. I kept making excuses not to go shorter until my 1-​year-​old started pulling at my hair. I tried putting it up in a ponytail, but babies are good at what they do so that was my motivation. I was referred to Ling for her fashion forward and edgy style. She is extremely involved in the fashion industry, so I knew i was in good hands. I loved my short pixie and it is super low maintenance. As a mom, I don’t have a lot of time to fuss with my hair, so wash, and blow-​dry is a dream!

Before Ling I was going to those really cheap haircut places or supercuts. I didn’t understand why people would pay more $$ for a haircut! That is, until I was introduced to Ling.
I found her through my aunt who had a niece that got married and recommended her for my bridal party.
I was sold after our first meeting and she’s been caring for my hair ever since. I love that she can give me a flattering cut, whether I want it short or long. And since I’m really low maintenance and don’t know how to fix my hair, she’ll spend time and teach me how to blow dry and style so that it looks just as good as when I walked out of the salon. She uses high quality hair products and I can really tell the difference. Whatever shampoo/​conditioner she uses on my hair smells so good and makes my hair feel smooth for days! She does sell those products and she’s not pushy in selling them either.
Once she was out of town and I needed a haircut so I tried someone else and I wasn’t happy at all. Thankfully Ling came back and fixed it (after I let it grow out a bit)! She knew what the person did wrong and knew it wasn’t a flattering cut at all.
Not only does Ling have a great personality, she pays attention to detail and really gets to know her clients.

In the utmost sincerity, Ling is a total perfectionist. She understands cutting hair in a way that not many can even comprehend. She understands abstracts and ideas, so you can describe the cut you want using as natural of a language as you’d like. She’s also incredibly creative, and has astonishing attention to detail.
HIGHLY recommend Ling. If I could give her ⁶⁄₅ stars, I would.

Best stylist in the greater Sacramento area. I’ve been living in Sacramento for most of my life and Ling has been one of the best I have stumbled upon. It doesn’t matter what style or head shape you have Ling Chan can accommodate to any array of hair qualities. From Asian to European she is very talented, creative, and versatile she knows a lot about hair ask her about products that can help you style, glamorize, revitalize, restrengthen, clarify, or anything that pertains to hair care! Most importantly talk to her and you will see that she has a great sense of what you are looking for as you describe what you want. Get to know her and you will see what I mean! She is very chill so don’t miss out check her out!

You wouldn’t believe you can find talent like this not in a major or trendy salon. I like being able to tell her what I want and she’ll make it better than what I described. She has a good sense of whats new and fashionable. After a couple visits you’ll be begging for her creative style.
I only wish she was closer to Folsom where I live so she can style my hair all the time.
