I bought a nurse outfit and some other stuff here a month ago and it’s a nice little shop ran by a super helpful lady. She’s cool and gives discounts sometimes. I always drop by when I shop in the area. My other place asides from NY Apparel on Haight to get lingerie.

Just around the corner, I stopped in while I was out doing groceries along Polk to see what they had in stockings.
It’s a small shop with mostly clothing and shoes in it. Some of the shoes are super cute and I’m sorely tempted to go back to see if there’s any I’d like to buy. Not really a «true» fetish shop, it’s still got enough to whet your interests if you’re looking to spice things up a bit.
There’s not a huge selection of stockings to choose from, but enough to get you by if you’re looking for some basics. I went in looking for plain black and walked out with two really nice pairs for a good price.
The lady working behind the counter was *super* nice and helpful and sweet. Definitely an asset to the shop!
Only complaint: it seems to close randomly during the day for a few minutes at a time. I’ve been unlucky enough to stop by twice and be faced with a «back in 10 minutes» sign. Sorry, but if I’m stopping by while out doing my errands on Polk, chances are I’m not going to have a chance to come back in ten minutes. This might be due to the shop being run by a single person and yeah, she has to take a break for whatever reason, it’s just a bit of a bummer to come by and not able to get what I’m looking for right away!

I was going to give this store 5 stars, until I went to pick up my order…
I went in on a Saturday and the owner was very helpful when I could not find what I wanted in the store. She special ordered me some stockings after showing me a few items in the catalog. The prices she quoted me were very reasonable. She assured me she would call me asap if they were not available. She was super nice and very helpful and so I agreed to a $ 20 deposit.
A few days later (very fast!) she called me to let me know the stockings were in and I went to pick them up immediately. Right as I hand her my credit card, she asks me if it’s okay to charge me for the shipping. A few days before, when I ordered, she mentioned that the company requires a 6 pair minimum order, but I personally bought 3 pairs and it’s so close to Halloween that I’m sure stockings are going like hotcakes. Plus, she calculated a retail price from the wholesale catalog price and shipping/​overhead is obviously included in the markup… if I was going to pay for shipping, I would have just ordered some online myself! Obviously she just wanted to scam me at the last minute, hoping that I would agree to a nominal amount ($ 6.75 on an order of $ 30) which I reluctantly did because I needed the items for a birthday gift and figured I’d rather not fight her to get my $ 20 deposit back.
Anyways, it’s shady business practice. Clearly she could have marked up each pair by $ 2 when she personally calculated the retail price and I would have never known and it would have still been a reasonable price. What I don’t like is someone trying to scam a few more bucks out of me at the last minute knowing they have leverage because of my deposit and foot in door technique (I was already there with items in hand ready to pay).

I have mixed opinions about this little store. We went here to get our Ms. Clause gear, and walked out with cute matching costumes. The lady helping us was really friendly and definitely convinced us to buy them. However, we weren’t totally sure we wanted them and at the price we paid, it would’ve been nice to have the option to return them if needed. We even asked if we could have the night to think it over, and she refused saying there were not returns allowed no matter what. I would understand her side more if we had purchased undergarments, but why not with a costume? Overall, the costumes looked adorable and we got tons of compliments on them, so I guess it was a good decision to buy them?

thank you very much to the lady at this store for encouraging me to buy my first pair of cuban heel nude thigh highs today. wearing them later on, i made $ 500 in an hour for playing with my toys. and they were very reasonably priced too.

This place is indeed fantastic! You essentially cannot go wrong with anything shoe related and their prices are very, very reasonable for the neighborhood. The best pair of black patent leather boots that I’ve ever owned has come from Lusciouswear, and I will most certainly continue getting them there! As Rachel C. notes, the owner deserves brownie points for excellence in customer service! She really went out of her way to make sure my boots fit me correctly, and then wrapped them up in a pretty bag and tissue paper. It was like I bought a present for myself! :)

The lady who runs this small boutique is so nice and helpful. The store is very small, but PACKED with tons of really cute costumes, lingerie, underwear/​bras, corsets, you name it. They have plenty of adorable stockings, thigh-​highs, garter belt set-​ups, etc. and, oh the SHOES! The selection of shoes is awesome as all of the styles are unique, sexy and fun. If you are looking for something in particular, the owner will be happy to point you in the right direction, and will special order items if you so wish.
I like this lingerie shop because they have the generic «sexy-​girl» Halloween costumes, as well as more classy and higher quality lingerie and intimate wear.

The owner here is so sweet and really gets customer service. I have to get my lingere fix and they have great things. The selection goes from crazy vinyl costumes to very sexy oriental silk corsets. If she doesn’t have exactly what you want she will order you from her stack of catalogs. I have bought the most beautiful ice blue corset and fun red lingere here. Whenever I am early for yoga I come in. They also carry great swimwear that you would otherwise have to go to LA or Southbeach to find. The have great service and this place puts the snobby bit##@ at Agent Provocateur to shame!
