Paparazzi

Nice store, wonderful selection of clothing, beautiful windows. I wish some of the things were less expensive, but that’s just how it is with the brands that Paparazzi carries.
They recently opened a home goods store just couple of doors down– and some very unusual and beautiful items there as well.
So happy to have them in the neighborhood.

No matter what time of year, you can count on at least 3 things in North Beach…
1: No parking.
2: A long wait at Tony’s.
3: A fabulous window display at Paparazzi.
North Beach is not entirely lacking in clothing for women. Proper Fox, Knitz & Leather, & the newly returning Fife (in the former Knitz & Leather space, which just moved a few doors down) are all favorites.
But Paparazzi? Paparazzi is the place for all things posh.
Whether you need a swanky piece for an upcoming soirée, or you need a new ensemble to lift your morale, or you just want to check out what’s new & fabulous, this is the spot.
They carry both well known labels, as well as obscure ones. I bought a stunning Nicole Miller black dress, & I discovered Chan Luu scarves. So you have the familiar, & you get to make new discoveries.
The staff really know their stuff. You might have to wait if they’re assisting someone else, but they’ll make sure you leave w all your questions & needs addressed.

So happy to stumble into this gem of a boutique! Bought several effortlessly stylish pieces that I have yet to see in department stores or other trendy online boutiques. As other reviewers mentioned, the items are not inexpensive but I hope to be wearing these timeless pieces for several years to come. The sales staff were also kind and helpful, besides being effortlessly stylish themselves.

It is very expensive and incredible quality. This is my go to shop in the Neighborhood. The staff and owners are terrific. My closet is Papparazi heaven. Christina helps me put ensembles together & is genius at it. Michael, owner, always has a smile. I love this shop and would give it a Michelin rating for clothing if I could.

I have frequented their store in Tiburon. I have purchased a closet full of clothing there. While I love their brands much more than their price tags, please be aware: I have had a few obvious issues with several items. Generally speaking, there is nothing they are willing to do for you once you walk out the door. There IS a 10-​day return policy, but if the product is defective, they are reticent to support your issue. I had only one situation where they made good on a clearly defective piece of expensive clothing.
As long as you know that once you bought it no matter what you own it, you will enjoy the store.

Visiting SF, stopped in yesterday. It was a bit out of my price range for everyday simple items, but got a cashmere wrap/​cardigan for a very fair price, that I know I will wear a ton, and a unique pillow for a fair price. The sales woman gave suggestions as to how to wear the wrap, which I appreciated. Would definitely browse again if I am in the area.

That’s twice now I needed something for a night out and I came here at the last minute and the young woman fixed me right up. And I’m not the typical svelte 20 something that the store seems aimed at but I still got great clothes here. And at a decent price — «no regrets» price level. And really great attentive service. Sure there’s a bit of attitude but they have the right to be proud of their selection which is pretty unique and what’s best is that they know how to put it together for all types of bodies.

This store is the best! Great customer service. I love Christina (Grant Street location) because she knows her stuff and is honest. The clothes are high quality, stylish and reasonably priced given that this is a boutique. I buy almost all my clothes here – they carry labels you can’t get anywhere else in the city.

I really like this store, definitely one of the better stores to browse on Grant. Be ready to drop at least a couple hundreds as they carry the nicer items at higher prices but all good quality. Last but not least, buy it if you like it or live to regret it… as I have twice already, never again!
They do a good job on the display and the store is always very clean and organized, never overly cramped. Small quantity and a good selection of a little of everything including accessories.
They have a sister store in Tiburon so if you really love something but can’t find in your size, ask the sales person to check.

Their clothes are OKAY. The jackets are pretty warm but their clothing is overpriced.

This is a graet store! We bought an outfit for my mom as «mother of the bride» (my sister is getting married this month) and there are also lots of things that I want too! They haev a fantastic selection of things for all age groups and all sizes. The sales people and owner are so nice and very helpful. I highly reccomend this store!

Oh, I love Paparazzi! And I actually think they have great customer service, although that might be b/​c I ran in in a panic before opening on a Saturday morning looking for control top hose/​Spanx to wear with a super slinky bridesmaid dress (ate a bit too much the night before… it happens). The woman behind the counter not only let me in before the store opened, but also entertained Sara with gossipy tidbits while I tried on all kinds of other random crap (hey, once you’re already trying stuff on…). Anyway, we made it to the bridal meeting spot with plenty of time to spare, and I was safely tucked and gathered where I felt (paranoid) I needed to be tucked and gathered (although the Spanx came off halfway through the wedding, b/​c man those things are tight)!! So thanks, Paparazzi!

Customer service IS NOT A PRIORITY for these guys. Great clothes, high prices and poor service. Not worth the effort to Tiburon or Grant Avenue since the owners are the same. Totally overrated. If you want high-​fashion name brands, you’re better off going somewhere where they appreciate your business.
