We are staying at the hotel so we decided to try their breakfast. My husband had the omelet and I ordered the salmon. Both meals were excellent in taste and presentations. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely come back during our stay.

My husband and I stayed at Le Meridian. We wanted to grab a quick breakfast before heading out of San Francisco. We decided to go with the breakfast buffet. The food was delicious. The eggs were fluffy, bacon and sausage tasted great and the mini pancakes were so «yum». They had butter croissants, chocolate croissants, an assortment of muffins, fruit, granola and yogurt. They even had different cereals. The only issue we had was that the place was short staffed. There was only one person who was seating guests and also running to the back to get more food. When we there, they ran out of the eggs and bacon. They also ran out of the milk for the cereal. There was only one server for the whole room which did not seem reasonable. He had to get drinks for people eating at the buffet as well as the folks who were ordering from the kitchen. Considering the fact that the buffet was $ 21 and they tacked on gratuity automatically, you would think that there would be more staff to help. Good food. The host and waiter were very friendly. Hotel needs to get more staff.

I took Bart over to SF for this luncheon. GPS did not say the restaurant was inside a hotel! I just saw the address but no indication there was a restaurant there until I went inside to Inquire. On the day I went, there was a worker’s strike outside. It was frightening seeing them holding signs and walking in a circle with a guy on the bull horn. I went inside, thank God, I had no problems. The Park Grill was on a upper floor. Forgot which floor however that entire floor was dedicated to Park Grill. It was spacious, elegant decorated and airy. It was already occupied by business people having lunch or luncheon meeting. I had a side seat which was a endless couch along the wall with comfortable pillows! I wish this was my setting at home! The meal was lovely, nice presentation, tasty and good portions. I had a prawn salad, a clubhouse sandwich and a Long Island. It was little pricy but for that atmosphere it was worth the price! Highly recommend Park, Grill.

This place used to be great for breakfast, but now it just feels weird and overly spacious. Good for a breakfast meeting if you want a table far enough away from others that nobody else can hear what you are talking about, but other than that, there has to be a better alternative nearby.

The Park Grill is located inside LeMeriden Hotel, which is where I was staying for the weekend. We were staying at the hotel because our friend was having wedding, which gave us great rates, along with complimentary breakfast/buffet. We rushed downstairs with only 30 minutes left before the buffet closed, the waitress and breakfast chefs were incredibly AWESOME! They gave us everything we asked for in a timly matter and the chef even cooked the eggs exactly how I love them! I can understand the other reviews that this place is pricey, but it comes hand in hand with the location.

Had brunch there today, Sunday. It was $ 21 for no choice, bland, cold food. I had to find wait staff to get toast and WATER. Horrid service and food for this hotel. Too bad this was my last experience during an otherwise pleasant stay LeMeriden Hotel. San Francisco has great food but you won’t find it here.

Came here for Sunday brunch while staying upstairs at Le Meridien Hotel. Décor is nice. If you are staying at the hotel, it is convenient. The buffet is limited and bland for $ 21. The wait staff is very nice, but it took 15 minutes and a reminder to get coffee and juice. They forgot the toast(which you have to order), and after a reminder it came 30 minutes after we ordered it. There is coffee in the restaurant lobby. They should just set it up along with juices at the buffet so people can serve themselves.

Not gonna lie, the food is pretty overpriced. But I enjoy the bar and the dessert is terrific. I recommend the French martini, which I believe includes pineapple juice, and the chocolate cake, which is so rich and decadent I just adored it. Consider having a nice lunch somewhere else, but definitely stop by for a drink.

Met a friend for breakfast at The Park Grill(he was staying at the hotel). We both had the bagel with smoked salmon, which was excellent. Your choice of bagel, along with a big glob of cream cheese, red onion, tomato, capers, a hard-boiled egg, and a heaping helping of smoked salmon, sliced very thinly. It’s definitely a big breakfast, and exactly what I was hoping for. It’s a hotel restaurant, so the prices were ridiculously high(I think $ 17 for the lox & bagel), and the service was not outstanding. But if you need to meet someone for a breakfast lunch and have an expense account, it’s a good option. The dining room was quiet and relatively empty. If you’re flying solo, they have a nice selection of complimentary newspapers available.

Recent luncheon here for business — selected by guests who were staying in the hotel. It is in the Le Meridian Hotel and you do have to climb a set of spiral staircase steps to get up to the dining area We are on casual Summer days, so I was in jeans and a nice polo shirt, but I felt a little under-dressed for the location Service — very attentive — they weren’t super busy, but there were a lot of folks in there for«power lunches» San Francisco Financial district wheeler dealer types. A couple people had«Arnold Palmer» mixes of lemonade and iced tea and it was interesting to see the waiter carefully refill those glasses with just enough mix of both lemonade and iced tea, nice touch guys. Food — for lunch — I had the San Francisco Clam Chowder to start. It’s a pretty good sized bowl vs. cup, so you’ll get plenty of it. It comes with a tiny little bottle of Tabasco sauce that was so cute, I had to take it home with me. I wasn’t aware Tabasco was an added element to the San Francisco Clam Chowder, but I ‘ll give it a try another time. For main entrée — I had the Cobb salad, with grilled chicken, usually it is already sliced up for you in the salad, but these were really large pieces of chicken and also a lot of it, along with fresh avocado and the usually items you find in a Cobb. Really good, ate every bite of it. Just enough for a good healthy lunch and then some. It’s pricey for lunch(many of the entrees were $ 25 and up) — but if you are there to talk business — I’d say it has good acoustics — not too loud where you can’t hear anything someone is saying, so if you need to talk business, this is very possible. Not on a hit list for me to must return, but wouldn’t avoid it either. I think it’s a little better than most of the reviews I read here(could have been the day I was there) but it serves a purpose.

For a hotel restaurant, this place is pretty bad. If it was not for a company event, I would not even step foot in here. Anyway, came here w/coworkers for a lunch. I ordered the burger and that was the safest thing on the menu. The meat was dry. Not even my favorite condiment ketchup did anything. The food was really blah. The service was expected as it is inside a hotel. Also glad we did not have to pay for it, as it is overpriced for the food it serves.

This used to be in the Park Hyatt, but now its the Le Meridien. The place is definitely designed and catered toward business professionals. The atmosphere is very stuffy and up tight. the waiter took a very long time to serve us. i tried the grill halibut, which was way too small to be worth the price. The sauce was a bit salty for my taste. over all, just like the rating, «I’ve experience better»

Came here for breakfast on Friday with some of my coworkers. We came here cause our office is so near by there, and there aren’t very many sit-down breakfast places around here. Everyone here is in suits. Very businesslike here. We were business casual, so I think we fitted in just fine. When we sat down, we were asked if we wanted orange juice and coffee right away. Our cups were always filled, never empty! I ordered an egg-white omelet with mushrooms, spinach, avocado, and tomatoes, and asked for fresh fruit instead of potatoes. It also came with 2 pieces of toast of your choice. White the omelet was really good — it also had a lot of oil on the plate. Service here was fantastic tho. Our server quickly took away our plate when we were done, and left us alone while we all sat and chit chatted. I don’t think I’d come back here for breakfast unless it was on the company’s tab again. Breakfast here is quite pricey(Omelet was about $ 17) for something that was nothing fantastic.

Good place for a power breakfast. Pretty unnotable as many hotel restaurants are in the morning. The service is top notch, and the breakfast is always solid but not inspiriing.

Top notch food, atmosphere, location and service. If you are in the financial district/Embarcadero area and need a refined, quiet place for a business meal or coffee, this is the né plus ultra location in SF. A reliable standby from breakfast time through dinner, and ready to serve you any time between too. Along with Opentable reservations and ample Embarcadero Center parking, the convenience cannot be beat. Their tea is served with refinement in beautiful iron pots. They will serve you a pot of tea anywhere in the upstairs or downstairs lobby if you are just stopping in to rest your feet or are waiting for a meeting. Also — for salad lovers — the Caesar salad is terrific, and with fresh crabmeat, it’s worth every penny of the $ 17 or so. This place is so reliably good that they have a big set of «regulars» for business breakfasts and lunches.

This was another one of those, «Well, it’s in our hotel, and we have to get to the airport soon, and we want breakfast, so — let’s just go here» moments. The food was good — if a bit overpriced. I didn’t go for the buffet because I can never seem to eat enough to justify paying $ 20 or more(I think it was about $ 25 here) — just got the regular ol’ breakfast option with scrambled eggs, home-fries, an English Muffin instead of toast, and bacon. OHTHEBACON. The waiter asked me if I liked it crispy, and I don’t, so I specified NOT, and it was perfect! So good. In fact, the best part of my meal. Probably not worth $ 15, but still very tasty. So decent food, decent coffee, and quick service. We made it in and out of there in a little less than an hour. It does well as a hotel restaurant, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to have breakfast here.

Ah, there’s a Park Grill but where’s the park? This place has been around forever in one form or another. Before I knew the city well this used to be my secret place to take visiting businessmen for an old school drink before closing a business deal or heading out to the local strip club. It still has that vibe but either my taste improved or the bar got stale because I’m just not feeling deal closing magic here anymore. A recent weekday night at ten or so the whole place was shut down, a chill wind was blowing through, and nothing happening but a little CRTTV above the bar playing Fox News.

there are hotel restaurants and there are restaurants in hotels. this is the former. what might be fantastic room service food goes down a notch when you’re staring at a white table cloth in a dining room rather than sitting in your underwear watching a world war II retrospective on the history channel. maybe it’s just me but i think that sitting on a bed in a fancy hotel room in my skivvies, eating prawns and watching non-descript cable tv makes me feel like a super achiever. it is a good place for a biz lunch in that it is a quiet room that has been laid out and partitioned appropriately for that purpose. they escaped the pat kuletto interior where quality is measured in decibels. three stars. up a half for the setting, down a half on the food.

This is a restaurant just above and to the right of the Hyatt on Battery. It’s actually a part of the hotel. Climb those stairs!!! The place was packed with suits and ties and it is where finacial persons do «lunch» or so it seemed. It is a very nice place the décor was warm and the chairs were wide and comfy as were the booth benched walls. The long-aproned waiters were very attentive and filled the water constantly. I was particularly hungover today so that was the highlight of my lunch. The food was good, too. Fairly inexpensive for a nice restaurant. The boss loved the carrot and ginger purée soup. I had Crab Cakes, a little too rich and salty but good. The desserts are wonderful. It’s a nice place to discuss clients or to just bitch about a co-worker while eating some pretty decent food.
