I love this Peets. The staff here are wonderful and warm, and since I often come here for my first morning coffee they really set the start of my day well. Love that they have many varieties of scones, the peach berry scone is my favorite.

Was here for a business meeting and it worked out pretty well. We got a quiet spot, good friendly service and good coffee. This area has a sea of gourmet coffee shops like Blue Bottle and I am pleasantly surprised and happy to to see familiar oldies like Peet’s still around.

This Peet’s is a hot mess. I wish someone from corporate would straighten this one out. I’ve worked across the street for three years, and during the last couple of years things have really gone downhill. The quality of the coffee drinks is so hit or miss. And the area where they make the drinks looks pretty dirty.

Nice comfortable setting. I dropped by the café to get myself warmed up from the cold. The café has a big open layout. I’m assuming it gets really busy during lunch. I like the coffee chairs that they have laid out. I got to enjoy my Chai and cookie while watching commuters going about with their day. It feels so peaceful in here. And the chaos that goes about just steps from the front door seems a distance away.

Love Peet’s, but I can’t wrap my brain around the fact that a cup of cold brew costs twice as much as regular cup of iced coffee. Seriously, order an iced coffee and they’ll put ice in a cup and pour hot coffee over it. Order a cold brew and they’ll put ice in a cup and pour cold coffee over it, which makes a lot more sense in the grand scheme of things. I make my own cold brew so I know there isn’t any sort of sorcery going on. What gives?

This place is clean, efficient, and my favorite coffee place in my area because the people here are so damn friendly. I’m not sure if they themselves are just downing all of their own delicious drinks all day or if they strictly hire engaging people at this location, but I have grown so fond of this spot that I finally ended my 3 year relationship with Starbucks! Whereas Starbucks STILL doesn’t know my name after coming in EVERY day for 3 years,(imagine«name, hon?» 720 times from the same person) the baristas here are very personal and know just how to make the perfect pick-me-ups for me and my coworkers. Working downtown where it’s busy, bustling, stressful, and always about getting it done, that type of customer service is really refreshing and makes for a truly uplifting 10:30am coffee run. Special shoutout to barista Miguel B. who cracks us the hell up when we are stressed out as #*&$. Those who work here also take their drink making very seriously. I’m baffled by how much time they take to carefully froth, drizzle, and otherwise«craft» my drink in ways that look like an artist in the studio. I say this in a good way because, while they take their time to be precise, the lines are always efficiently moved along and I never have to wait. I’m so damn… impressed… and who gets impressed by a chain coffee shop these days?! Well done, Peet’s on Mission. Well done and thank you.

I guess she wast having a very good morning because I asked her how was she doing and never got a answer. The little short girl with the glasses is rude and will rush you if you take to long don’t go to her she not helpful at all. This location needs to do better I won’t return! There are way too many other coffee bars serving better espresso drinks and they have the service to go along with it.

Angry barista. Yelled at me for not saying«Thank you» loud enough to him for making my coffee(I just gave him a nod as I was finishing my email when he called my name to pick up coffee.) Really? Take it easy dude — this is just coffee. The company should check the emotional state of their baristas when hiring. Thanks!

The people who work the morning shift at this peets are the worst! I ordered a small vanilla latte as usual. Someone accidentally took my drink since they don’t use names. Not really their fault but why not use names during the morning coffee rush? It just makes sense to do so. I was about to grab the drink of the person who took mine since it was almost the same but nonfat, but the barista took it back & said he would make me a new one. Instead of asking if I wanted to wait for a new one, he grabbed it and poured it down the drain. After he said he would make a new one, he forgot about it & went on his break! Umm, I waited for another 5 – 10 minutes wondering where my coffee was and had to ask the other barista to make my drink. So much hassle for one morning coffee! The worst.

It’s a peets. With that said… I was helped by two really friendly and funny employees, domo and beltran. Will definitely come here again. Unfortunately there isn’t a bathroom

Pretty small Peet’s compared to other ones in FiDi, but quality is not compromised. Stopped by on my way to work today and got a small Matcha Green Tea Latte. Baristas were friendly and worked swiftly. While there is WiFi here, there are very few spots to sit at. Nice coffee break during the day.

I was specific about what I wanted; the competent looking clerk confirmed my request, and when the drink came out it wasn’t flat, it wasn’t in a trad cap cup, and once again, I simply rolled my eyes and wondered why I even bother giving instructions to people at Peet’s. The drink was fine but it wasn’t what I wanted and this is why I seldom visit Peet’s anymore– a place I worked at for nearly two years after the economic crash in 2008. OK, I feel better now.

I have a feeling that I’ll be spending a lot of time at the Peet’s in the near future. It has a lot of space and the staff is kind, they are clearly busy because at 9 am most of their pastry case was cleared out. The store seemed a little messy but staff was walking around cleaning up.

This is the Peet’s that nobody can seem to find when I say«meet me at the Peet’s on Mission at 2nd Street» — invariably people find the Peet’s on Market and 2nd or the Peet’s on Mission and 3rd Street because apparently the Peet’s on Mission is hard to find. Is it? It’s on Mission Street. It’s tucked behind a giant glass terrarium containing people drinking coffee and talking at the corner of Mission and 2nd Street. Good service. Great coffee. Great people work and come here consistently. Grab a WiFi code with your coffee and sit in the terrarium/atrium of the corner building at Mission and 2nd Street — it’s a great place to have a coffee meeting or just chill with a laptop.

They haven’t kicked me out yet, so I suppose that’s a good thing. Seriously though, I spend a lot of time here. Like way too much. Since I don’t get out much, I often feel the need to get out of the apt. and into the«real world.» I usually just get black coffee, which is the perfect strength. But I’m also in love with the non-fat sugar-free vanilla latte. I know, It sounds disgusting. It is sooooo good. I honestly think they’re lying when they tell me it’s non-fat and sugar-free, but what I don’t know won’t hurt me, right? I wish Peet’s was bigger. Sometimes I have to wait for a seat. And then I feel really bad when I’m sitting for a couple hours and know that I’m taking up room. The staff is always super friendly and like I said, they haven’t kicked me out yet.

Why 4 stars? Because… oh you’re about to find out. — — — This review may just change the internet forever. When we are being dissected by alien lifeforms in the year 2385, I am certain that these few sentences will live on and be included as highlights of the 400 year run of the internet. Yes, this review will be mentioned with the Internet’s historic events such as: Twitter’s reaction to the death of Michael Jackson, the first skype chat that transports matter, and the day that Myspace becomes the first non-human president.(Yep, who would have thought?) So without further adieu, the two reasons I enjoy Peet’s: 1) It is a lot better than Starbucks. 2) We don’t have Peet’s in Tampa, so it feels like a mom and pop joint… which makes it scientifically taste better. Thank you, thank you. This is why I was chosen by Unilocal. Please ensure that my grave has«May 1, 2012: Greatness.»

I was meeting up with my friend and mentor for a morning cup o’ coffee in SOMA and we walked over to the Peet’s since it was super close to his office. It’s always awesome to catch up and get some mentoring in and I’m always happy to make the trek downtown to do so. I ordered the hazelnut latte and we headed into the public seating area just outside to chat. The latte wasn’t really constructed with a great deal of care, but it tasted pretty good nonetheless. It was like, heat milk, poor, done, and dumped on the counter where it spilled a little over the side. These are just nit-picky things, but still important for the customer experience. This particular location doesn’t have outdoor seating but does have the huge«patio» space in the lobby of the building it’s in. It’s indoors so I don’t think your dog is welcome there though. It is however, a great place to hang out and get work done, or even have a meeting like we were having. I dig it and look forward to going back! Food: 7⁄10 Service: 6⁄10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 7⁄10
