Perilla

Same quality food, different location. It’s good to know that there’s a Perilla in the Financial District and another option for lunch if needed for a good meal.
I’m always a little weary eating at a restaurant in FiDi especially for lunch, since the wait could be a while as everyone in the area usually goes out at the same time. When I came here, there was about 5 parties of people in front so my friend and I put our name down and walked to the food trucks closeby. Within 10 minutes we decided to come back and either people left, or got seated quickly. We got to sit and order right away (five spice chicken garlic noodles FTW!) Our food took a little while to come out but otherwise the quality was what I expected from their original location.
If you haven’t read my other review for the original Perilla, go for the vermicelli bowls or garlic noodles! Those are the best options here for the price.
