True hole in the wall. There was a sign outside with the lunch specials but apart from that no indication of a restaurant! My coworkers decided to go next door to Garaje in fear of food poisoning because god forbid an unyelped location haha. I sat down at the bar and was planning on doing takeout for a rice plate. Asked the server lots of questions. She seemed a little irritated but it was certainly busy. The location used to be Vietnamese but has become an Asian fusion although they still serve phở. I had a conversation with one of the ladies at the bar and it is her go-to phở stop. So at the last minute decided to get the beef phở. It came pretty quickly although the server forgot the lemons, cilantro, and bean sprouts. The bar seating was uncomfortable but a table opened up and those seats were really comfy. They also have another enclosed seating area. I was very surprised to see the receptionist from my workspace come and pick up some phở takeout! Will definitely visit again for a rice/vermicelli plate. Oh and they had guava candy which was delicious!
