I went in because my back tube had blown, and they lent me tools and a stand to replace it myself(which I preferred). The employee I chatted with was really nice. There’s a big, brown, friendly dog who loves being petted. On the way out, the guy remembered my name!

Was really excited to find a bike store near my office. Went in today looking for gloves, bike lights and bells. They have lots of gloves — most are tuned towards bmx or moto-x. Only had one option for front and rear lights and I didn’t get a chance to ask about bells because for the 10 minutes I spent in the store, the employee spent on the phone clearly talking to the other company he works for. He did ask me at one point if he could help me but his priority was dealing with his telephone call. I won’t be wasting my time again.

THISPLACEWASAWESOME. The staff was great. They were very knowledgable and friendly. Plus they spent plenty of time with us choosing our bicycle products and assisted with the installation free of charge. The prices were reasonable and the selection was great. Check this place out.

If your not into the scene you prolly wont know about this hidden place. It’s off West Grand just off the 880⁄580 connector and down the street from West Oakland Bart on Mandela pkwy! Been on a 10+ year layoff and been riding for only a week after picking up a new bike. Stopped in to look at the kicks, peep out sone protective gear and that’s exactly what I found. All I left with was a cool ass jersey though but after my Cabo trip I’ll be back to swoop this helmet I want and hopefully they have my size in the 510’s that I want. Pickup anything from here and you for sure are supporting a local shop. I liked other stuff but being an XXL is tough. I think it’s rider owned and operated as well. Sweeet!!!

Cool guys. Bike store run by bike riders. It cant get much better than that. If you are tired of the usual bike shops, check this store out. Lots of cool gear at decent prices. The thanksgiving sale was 40% off everything. I scored some major deals that day. Wish I had more money to spend :-)

Props to bringing a much needed quality business establishment in W.Oakland. rideSFO is definitely in the right place at the right time. They are great supporters of the bay area bike scene and have great respect among the bike community and scene. Come support them!

So they posted on the Internet that they had the new 5.10’s in, cool. «Hey babe, buy he these shoes». She ordered them on Fri. Feb 27th, they told her they were in stock and that the will be shipped and we will see the some time next week(oakland to LA). Tuesday rolls around and I have here call to get a tracking #. She leaves message and they return her call the next day saying that they dont’ have any order, she’s pissed and she has them call me. He(j-rock) calls and tells me what exactly did she order. I tell him him 5.10 freerider Wht/black size 13. He apologizes and says he he will ship next-day, sweet. Now understand that after countless times of dealing with company’s you can kind of tell if people are being truthful, so I tell my girl we are not seeing anything till next week. She forwards me the Confirmation# I track it and see that it did indeed leave their location on Mar 5th, Nice it should be hear any hour and I shouldn’t be so quick to judge. Hours roll by and Im answering every knock on my door hoping that my shinny new shoes are here. I decide to call RideSFO and hear for certain that they indeed ship overnight. I call, get j-rock again. I tell him who I am and that I talked to him before he says«yeah I shipped those overnight». OK I’ll wait some-more. I call the USPS to confirm if my package was shipped over-night and she says no «It was shipped standard priority mail» Well, I don’t like being lied to and I know you don’t either. When you want some thing for the weekend and you order it with 6 working days and a weekend to get to you in the same state, that is more than enough time. I’m sure they are a great local business and I’m sure they do their part to support riders in their area but outright lying to customer over the phone about an order and it’s status is just dirty business. Their are lots of businesses to choose from especially in these times, I could of chosen a large on-line store but I chose RideSFO because they are rider owned and I like to support Businesses like these no mater where they are located, I geuss I chose wrong. Stupid me!
