Our dojo is an affiliate of Shotokan Karate of America (SKA), a national non-​profit organization teaching traditional karate since 1955. We are dedicated to teaching and studying Shotokan Karate in the traditional Japanese manner, following the teachings of Master Gichin Funakoshi and Tsutomu Ohshima, Shihan (head instructor) of SKA. All our instructors are black belts certified by Tsutomu Ohshima.

Just started at this place. Classes are held in a traditional Japanese style in a local church. Curriculum is always being tailored to the individuals in the group. Being a part of this dojo has a close knit feel of a local dojo, with the added benefit of being part of the SKA (
). Having been a practitioner of various martial arts for almost 10 years now I feel no hesitation in vouching for the authenticity, quality, and approach-​ability of the instruction here. Beginners are always welcomed, and experienced martial artist will always benefit from a practice.
