Sarah is truly dynamic! In just one session with her I experienced a powerful shift from a stressful/negative space to a place of self-empowerment. Her methods seem to allow her to be really insightful as she helps you to reconnect with pleasure. In her work she helps you to explore how you can change your beliefs around certain issues in order to help you achieve your desired goals. I found her methods extremely effective because she works to create a synergy between mind and body. After each session I felt a significant mental shift as well as a palpable change in the state of my body. I was able to gracefully move from a state of extreme stress into a state of self-empowerment. She also gave me practical tips and simple daily exercises to continually support my ability to change my beliefs around problematic areas. She made me feel really comfortable, supported, safe, and understood. I think everyone would greatly benefit from working with her! I highly recommend Sarah!

Sarah Reed is an elegant, whip-smart and intuitive belief-change miracle worker. Yeah, I said miracle worker. She had laser focus when we worked together, and I felt truly seen and heard. I recently had a one-on-one Pilates session with Sarah and feel inspired to write this review because it was great! I have some serious chronic back pain issues that I’ve been treating with a combo of massage, pilates, chiro and acupuncture for many years. I’ve been wary of working with new people because I can flare my injury easily if I’m not careful. Sarah was totally focused on me throughout the session and was adept at correcting my postures and making sure that I did not over extend or injure myself. She asked me insightful and anatomically sound questions that helped me explain my issues and refocus my body awareness to those areas. Pilates is HARD to learn and the breath work that accompanies it is particularly challenging for me. I often get very frustrated when trying to learn a new pilates move while using the proper breath techniques. Sarah used skill and humor to help me with these hurdles and I had a few light bulbs of understanding go off. This is a big deal for me! I felt inspired and motivated after the session and will definitely continue to work with Sarah to improve my Pilates work.

I have taken both private and group pilates sessions with Sarah. I love it when she kicks my butt on the Reformer! I am a runner and the workouts she takes me through make my hips feel like butter! I also just had my first massage with Sarah which was awesome as she was able to address imbalances in my body that she spotted during our pilates sessions. I have chronically tight hamstrings and random lower back pain. Sarah taught me the simple trick of rolling the bottom of each foot over a small ball for a few minutes to release the tissues(plantar fascia). Doing so immediately freed up tension in my feet, hamstrings and back, and made my body feel very grounded. I was hooked. I now roll my feet a few times a day, especially before I run in the morning. This one small action has made a HUGE difference!

Sarah is fantastic– her friendly and open demeanor puts you at ease immediately and she is so fun to be around. Sarah is not your typical fitness instructor– she has a diverse history and is really a role model for becoming healthier, in whatever way works best for you. Sarah is Reed is one of the most talented massage therapists that I have encountered. Her attitude is friendly and casual and her service is professional and thorough. I was impressed how she can identify trouble spots, work them away and suggest what may be causing them without any finger wagging and judgement. Very relaxing as well as informative and restorative. RECOMMENDED!
