Breakfast burrito was great last week. Went again and got a different employee who was oddly rude. He got sarcastic with a nasty tone very quickly. This is not an employee that believes the customer is right. Other guy was great. Very relaxed and helpful.

At the base of 555 Montgomery is Sausalito Café. I wanted an espresso drink at 8:15am and the machine hadn’t been turned on yet so I had a coffee instead. There were 4 coffee dispensers that all had the same kind of coffee, house blend, which as it turns out is a watered down coffee of unknown origin. The gentleman behind the register seemed nice enough, chatty with the regulars. The menu looked fantastic but I wasn’t hungry.

This spot is hidden away across the street from the grand TransAmerica building. They have lots of hot drinks, coffee and tea and many hot lunch items!

THREETIMES this place has added avocado to a no avocado item and I’m extremely allergic to avocado. This café literally doesn’t care if I live or die. I hope they get held up at gunpoint and robbed, I’m so angry. I told myself I would never go back after the second time it happened and it was seriously a huge, huge mistake to give them another chance. I’m on the verge of plastering the neighborhood with negative propaganda about this horrible, no respect for human life café.

When was the last time you ordered a breakfast sandwich and *didn’t* finish it because it was so bad? I work in the building next door, so in the past I’d grab something at Sausalito Café if I didn’t have time to go anywhere else, but I always ended up regretting it. Lunch is tolerable — if you don’t have any other options — but again, only as a last resort. I’d honestly rather get fired for missing a meeting than have to eat here again.

I came here for a quick bite. Looked like a straightforward breakfast /lunch place on the go shop, but I witnessed the staff being really rude to a businessman who ordered a sandwich. He was clarifying that the sandwich was his and was getting all kinds of attitude. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I experienced some of the same because I took too long to find an option that worked for my dietary needs. Not a ton of options here if you’re not able to eat gluten. It put a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t recommend coming here when there are so many friendly places around.

Nice place for a quick bite on the go(there are tables outside) here on the edge of the Financial District & Chinatown. Staying nearby, I am usually in here for breakfast before starting out for the day. Favorite item is the Breakfast Gyro. Unlike its cousin, the B’fast Burrito… the Gyro is stuffed full with awesome lamb gyro meat, tzatziki, tomatoes and a great kick of spiciness along with the adjoining scrambled eggs. Bonus is the complimentary big cup of coffee alongside with all the Breakfast offerings.

I just started visiting this place. The breakfast gyro was a really great new take on a breakfast burrito. Gus, the manager is super friendly as well. Great location between ChinaTown, North Beach and the FiDi.

Ordered the dolly parton. It’s a panini turkey sandwich. Sooooo yummy. Will definitely be visiting this place again. The very friendly & prompt service is a nice bonus!

Just got lunch catered by Sausalito Café and it was wonderful! We has beef and chicken kabobs, grilled zucchini, persian rice, hummous, chopped salad and everything was so tasty and beautifully prepared. Looking forward to using them many times for all of our office catering needs. Plus it is my go to place every morning for coffee. Staff are all super friendly!

Great for breakfast. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich. Eggs, cheese, and bacon on an everything bagel. Tell them to make it spicy, you won’t regret it!

Great quick breakfast food. My favorite items are the breakfast gyros(unhealthy) and the brown rice scramble(healthy). They also have hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and pastries. The hot dishes take a little while to cook so call ahead to save time.

Delicious bagels, convenient location, nice staff, great menu, and good prices. The service was a little slow but I enjoyed waiting at the outdoor tables they have set up.

The 655 Montgomery location’s menu on their website does not match their menu in the café. I have called-in an 2 separate occasions now for a meal advertised on their website and it hasn’t been available. Co-workers of mine call in specials orders that they have created from various menu items daily. When I called in and asked for the Veggie Scramble(advertised on the website, but not available) I was offered the chicken-apple scramble. I asked to substitute mushrooms for avocado and no chicken-apple sausage. This was just WAY too complicated, so after being given attitude in front of customers, I will NOT be returning and the café on Washington will be my go-to. And FIXTHEPHONE! I don’t need to be yelled HELLO at several times as I try to order… (I did give 2 stars because their Dolly Parton sandwich is amazing).

Got the spinach salad. It was pretty good, but didn’t come with strawberries like it was described to. It also took really long for them to make it. But they were really nice!

This is my spot for grabbing a quick and delicious breakfast. The gentleman who mans the register is always very pleasant and that’s a nice way to start the day. The place is clean and organized. They carry freshly squeezed orange juice and that’s worth its weight in gold. They have a crazy assortment of items on the menu and the prices are quite reasonable. The only reason i did not give it a 5 star is because of the shawarma. I have eaten authentic shawarma’s before and theirs was decidedly lacking.

The number on here is not correct. That’s the number for the location in the mission. Just saying. Good breakfast burrito. Kinda slow.

Fantastic yogurt parfait! They accept credit cards, too! Nice place to dash in for something quick before running to the office!
