Used to be so much better with staff who actually knows wine and can give good recommendations. Now they just hire young ladies who have zero knowledge about wine and are borderline rude. ‘Do you want to buy this or that, yes or no’. I feel bad for the owner who started this little cute bar with passion for wine. Inventory and selection of wine have all gone downhill.

Good beer list for an airport bar. Particularly impressed that they had lagunitas Waldo’s special triple IPA which was delicious. The charcuterie board wasn’t bad either.

After a day of walking 10 miles across San Francisco. A day that included dragging my rolling suitcase over roughly 5 of those 19 miles. A day that included brunch plans gone awry, a walk with a friend and brunch rescheduled. A day that included coffee… and more coffee. A day tha… Darn it. I wanted a beer. I wanted something good and something hoppy. I rolled into SFO with just a few minutes to spare. Luckily SF Uncorked wasn’t too busy and I was able to get a little flight before my little flight. $ 12 for 3 beer tasters at a total of $ 12 ounces. It’s not a cheap experience. But it was only a few dollars more than a pint. And it was just the right amount to take the few minutes until I could board the plane for home. If I ever get«laid over» at SFO for a short period, this would be a nice place to kill some brain cells and relax.

Good service, good price, and good wine. I asked about locale of a wine and they could answer it right away. By far best spot in B terminal.

Positives: Nice menu and selection of retail and eat-in. Plugs widely available and provides a good view for people watching. Negative(and a BIG one for me): The workers were yapping very loudly for half the time I was there… couldn’t concentrate on work or even think :(

A great place to pass some time in Terminal 3 when you are waiting for your regularly delayed United flight. Great selection of good to excellent wines with snacks, sandwiches and salads. Skip the food court and come here for a bit of relaxation.

I love flying through SFO with enough time to stop in here — this is a great place. The wine selections by the glass have something for everyone and all the bartenders(Marilyn and Mindy on my last two visits) are friendly and attentive. I’m just doing my expenses for the end of the month and found that Mindy gave me a 10% «preferred customer» comp on my last visit — that’s so cool! I’d be a regular at this place if it wasn’t at an airport, and there’s not many concessions you can say that about!

Great Airport watering hole. Three IPA on tap. No complaints before a flight. They have a lost of salads and snack food, but didn’t try. Great spot though if your only interest is to get tanked before a flight

The is a convenient place to charge your phone and enjoy a little drink… Great selection of beers, cider, all types of wine(everyone around me seem to be enjoying their drinks) and tapa style foods. My favorite are the wine flights(beer flights available too), I opted for the dessert flight although they offer all different grape varietals. Customer service is great, prices reasonable(especially for the convenience of it all), what’s not to love??? Next time you are in Terminal 3(most likely United) give it a try!

Nice, small wine bar by gate 85 in SFO. Great wine selection — you can find decent wines under $ 12 per glass. Community seating except in the far back. Also had the Cuban sandwich which was fine. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. You also have the option of buying a bottle and drinking it there(for a corkage fee of course…) Definitely worth visiting if you’re flying on UA through SFO. Just be aware if you have kids you’re supposed to be 21 to sit at the bar or community tables. They have power outlets at the tables and bar.

Cool place to go at SFO. They had a decent, local tap list but you can’t drink those outside. Instead, I bought a bottle and had it just outside in the couch area.

Pretty depressing place. Most of the employees were just hanging out in the back chatting, which slowed service a bit. It reminded me of one of the really bad clubs in Itaewon.

Typical inflated prices but the tables have elec outlets for charging and the staff are polite. Stuck here for 6 hours. Their menu is a welcomed departure from standard airport food I just ordered the artisanal cheese board.

Mindy is the best!!! She remembered my wine preference from the last time I was here several weeks ago. That is an excellent bartender. Always friendly and revise the highest level of customer service. She is an asset to the organization. I wish more bartenders were like her and the SF bay area!!! Highlights: Mindy, the Mondavi Moscato, and the Charcuterie plate!!! Best eatery in the SFO airport bar none!!!

This was my first time flying out of United in SF and lucky for me the terminal has a wine spot. i did enjoy my glass of wine and my slider however it didn’t wow me the way out SFO eateries do.

Terminal 3 may not live up to the high bars set by T2 at SFO… neither of which even come close to the food and drink options available at humble little PDX, but SF Uncork’d does an excellent job nonetheless. This stylin’, communal little wine bar has a nice argon gas preservation system, so offers an extensive list of wines by the glass, as well as bottle offerings for drinking in or taking to go. Being that this is California, the mix is heavily Californicated with some offerings from elsewhere on the coast as well as international. I like the feel of the joint. Staff is laid back, and the types of customers hanging here seem to be moving at not quite the frantic speed that most folks frequenting the HMSHost bars are in. And when you’re kicking back killing time with a nice glass of rosé, chill is what you want. The tables are a nice, warm, light wood with outlets built in to the legs, so you can recharge your devices while you’re supercharging your bloodstream(wit’ dat juice). I sampled a few wines while on an extended layover here, and plan to make this a regular stop to get my drank on before flights out of T3. Every selection I made(or was recommended to me) was great. The communal table/bar setup makes for some easy casual interaction with other travelers, which is a nice way to kill time. And they do have one lone TV, in case there’s a playoff game on you need to catch. This is not the end all, be all of airport comfort, but it’s a damn solid spot in an airport otherwise filled with… well… standard airport offerings.

Terminal 3 had been crying out for better food and drink options around gates 70 – 86. Uncork’d adds something new and different to generic bar restaurants with the wine flights, communal seating and more sophisticated small plates. Prior to opening you could choose either the very public but multicultural food court or more generic bar food where seating is at a premium and space for one often means a longer wait. Uncork’d solves both these issues. If there’s a place take it as the style is more chic coffee shop shared space than server managed tables. There’s a comprehensive selection of wines covering all tastes and the prices are good by any standard and cheap for an airport given the better, non-generic vineyards on offer. The beer selection is also excellent so there’s no reason not to enjoy a little downtime and relax a bit away from the hassles of SFO based travel. The quality is much higher than you’ll get on the plane so it’s a great option to spend $ 3 more for something you can relax and enjoy. The cheese and charcuterie plates are the pick of the quick food options and feature great selections which change. I’ve grabbed these things go and totally enjoyed them later. Check out the wine flights before your plane flight if you have more than an hour to kill or need that tablet or phone completely recharged. Found that despite the communal setting and recharge pod people are much more sociable and outgoing than at the gate seating. It’s a sign that the wine and atmosphere work and that buzz isn’t just because of the liquor.

After being taxed because I over pack so im never caught in under dressed, I was feeling a bit unpleasant. Near my terminal destination was SFO’s very own UnCork’d. I sipped on a Mondavi and charched my phone at the pleasure of this cozy wine bar. Not only did they have a formidable wine selection, but they also had a variety of single pour wines for purchase. I was informed by the hostess, that as long as you dont have a connecting flights, you can put it in the bag! They also offer 3 wine flights for 10 bucks. Its a nice selection. Small food options are available gor purchase but I didn’t venture there at this time. I higly recommend this wine bar as a sophisticated escape from the crazy life of airports…
