I’m not sure if this place is still open because the last time I came here, which was probably about a month ago, they told us they were closing soon. But, if it’s open, by all means, go! Perfect for winter weather! It’s $ 20.99 for AYCE hot pot, which is probably the cheapest you’ll be able to find in the city. There are several kinds of meat(chicken, lamb, beef), lots of veggies, tofu, and noodles as sides, good dipping sauces, and several different kinds of soup bases. There was one slightly sweet(sweet miso, mayhaps?) soup base which was AWESOME, and I think you should definitely get that. Service is pretty quick too, especially considering the fact that the place seemed pretty short-staffed the night we went. A couple of things to note: + There is a non-AYCE option for $ 14.99, but if you’re sitting in a group in which there’s people getting AYCE, you can’t mix it. Either everyone has to get AYCE, or everyone gets non-AYCE. I guess that makes sense. I was a little miffed at first because I didn’t feel hungry enough to go for AYCE, but I ordered it anyway because other people at our table were getting it and so the rest of us were forced into getting it. So I was like, «FINE. You’re making me get AYCE? I’ll show you AYCE! I’m going to eat A LOT.» And eat a lot I did. So I guess in the end, going for AYCE was the right choice. Whoops, my bad for being annoyed at first. I’m not sure how much meat they would give you if you don’t get AYCE, and in any case, this kind of food really seems most properly eaten in an AYCE fashion. + I was a little confused as to whether this place was cash-only. They said it was, but then they accepted credit cards too, but they said they had to write down the credit card numbers because they had one of those old-fashioned credit card machines. But anyway, bring cash, just in case. + They didn’t have a liquor license, so… no beer or sake. Which just seems kind of problematic/wrong for a hotpot place. I wondered if they would allow BYOB, but neglected to ask. But those things aside, I really liked this place. It’s located in the Avenues, so it’s a little hard to get to for most folks in the city, but it’s just such a good deal, and you get such yummy food. Great for groups, and if you pace yourself, you’ll come out feel pretty satisfied and not disgustingly full.

I will never understand how this place got 4 stars average! This place was a complete let-down. Let’s begin from the beginning. Ordered four AYCE, although our fourth hadn’t arrived yet. Get four sets of sauce, tea, and settings(minus a bowl). What didn’t come, and here’s the important part, were the garnishes for the sauces and the fat strainer for the pot. The ponzu sauce was much too sour but the peanut sauce was good. We get two types of meat to start. The first round of beef was frozen, thinly sliced, and not too fatty. The lamb was fresh looking, too fatty, and upon cooking found that there was too much cartilage/tendon still attached. The same thing happened with our second plate of lamb. As we ate, we found that the meat was inconsistent. Each plate looked different from the last in quality and thickness. Some too thick and some too fatty(i.e. leaving a ring of fat in the center as you picked away at the meat). The service was o.k., nothing to write home about. They only had one guy working the front but he was attentive to the meat. As I mentioned earlier, we were missing our garnishes and strainer from the start. We had to ask for these things as we realized we were missing them. Our cups sat empty until our fourth diner joined us(about 30 minutes after we first started). She took initiative to wave the guy down for a refill. Then, until the end of our night(2 hrs total), our cups sat empty once again. My friends had to actually get up out of the table to order two cokes. When the pot was refilled, the bland spicy miso and might-as-well-be-water chicken broth was further watered down by room temp water(took a sec for reboil = lull in meat cooking). The broths(as mentioned above) were bland. The spicy miso was not spicy at all and had a lot of oil/grease in it, moreso than any shabu place I’ve been to(6+). The chicken broth was mistaken as water by my friend who arrived late. She just didn’t believe us because it had absolutely no favor. The table next to us had to send back their soup base because they weren’t aware of the MSG content in it. Turns out, one of them was sensitive to MSG and didn’t want to have an adverse reaction to it but the waiter couldn’t offer an MSG-free alternative. They take credit card now! That’s definitely a plus from all the Unilocal reviews I’ve read. However, you have to really trust them with your card info. They write down your CC info on the receipt and run it over to an offsite location to run the card. Uh, no thanks! Sadly, I wasn’t carrying enough cash on me. It needed to be done, just have to keep a close eye on my account for the next month or so. –_– P. S. I had to call dibs on the bathroom so my SO couldn’t beat me to it when we got home. My two other friends were feeling sick before leaving as well. TL;DR — sucky food, decent service, MSG broths but still somehow bland, untrusty CC system, the runs.

I expertise at AYCE and Shabu Lounge enables me to display this talent nicely. We came decked in costume for a Halloween dinner, so if you saw a devil, a pirate, a cat, and a fobby looking nerd stuffing their faces with meat and veggies… that was us! Set dinners are $ 14.99 while AYCE is $ 20.99. And at only $ 6 more, my financial opinion is that the AYCE is a better deal. With tip and tax we ended up paying $ 26 each. Cash only, so be prepared. We opted for the spicy miso and sweet soy sauce bases, and between the two, the sweet soy sauce base was the winner. Like any other reputable Shabu joint, there are the standard peanut and ponzu dipping sauces with daikon, garlic, and green onion to add in too. The peanut sauce had a nice flavor, but it was a bit too thin and runny. However, besides the runny peanut sauce, I have no complaints. Service was great. Our waiter kept the food coming and the selection of meat, veggies, and noodles was more than enough to keep us satisfied. Despite the fairly cheap prices, the quality of meat and freshness of vegetables wasn’t sub-par either, as one might suspect. I may not have gotten any candy this Halloween; but, considering the delicious meal I gorged on, I still ended up with plenty of treats. 4 stars!

The important facts: -$ 20.99 for AYCE shabu shabu! –Cash only It was quiet on a rainy weeknight and most tables were open and available. The staff is extremely friendly. We were quickly seated and went for the spicy miso soup base. You can choose up to two different soup bases. They brought over our large plate of veggies and we threw in all the mushrooms, vermicelli noodles, udon, and cabbage to create a tasty bath for our beef. They apologized about the first plate of beef not being as great as the incoming plates as it was the end of the cut. I found it unnecessary and didn’t want to know… but it was a nice gesture from a new restaurant trying to make a good first impression. I don’t have high any particular expectations for places like this. I just want to see plates of meat constantly coming my way and i’m happy :) I’ve done my research and this is the most inexpensive shabu you can find in SF. Please correct me if i’m wrong!

My best friend and I came in here around 9 p.m. on a Saturday night after we couldn’t get into G Cube and it was empty, there were only about 3 other people eating here. So, we got seated by the cutest waitress and were given menus. It was i believe $ 15 for a regular and $ 20.99 for all you can eat. Thats the cheapest all you can eat I know in the city and its good! We ordered all you can eat and had both lamb and beef with spicy miso soup base. Their soup wasn’t as great as Shabu Houses’ but it’ll do :) They also threw some seaweed in there which was a bonus! It also came with a big bowl of veggies with noodles and mushrooms, which is my favorite part! After an hour and a half, we were stuffed and it still came with ice cream! The owner came over and spoke to us for awhile which was nice, he thanked us for eating there and the new restaurants he’s opening where Coriya used to be on clement and 3rd… i believe. I really enjoyed it and I love the price! Warning: this place doesn’t have any alcohol besides beer and wine and its CASH only.

This place actually accepts credit cards. Just wanted to say that before I started in on the food. We got the all you can eat with half spicy miso and half miso. For the price, I’d say the all you can eat is a good bargain. We went on a night that wasn’t really busy so the waiter was attentive and brought us new plates of meat and veggies when we needed them. If I’m craving shabu around the area, I’m definitely keeping this place on my shortlist.

This happened 2 weeks ago. Two words. Cockroach & Water. Never coming back here again. Was finishing dinner, found a dead cockroach in my water.(THAT I HADBEENDRINKING.) I told the waiter, was telling him quietly because there were other diners present, «Hey you might want to change your water,» because they keep water in a pitcher from a fridge. He took my glass and asked if I wanted another water, I said«no.» Didn’t see him change the water pitcher from the fridge, he comes back to me with another glass of water from the kitchen. At least offer something sealed or some sort of discount on the bill. But no. I’m sorry, but I was really disgusted, If you think about it if there’s pests up front in the dining area, then that means the kitchen can only be worst, and with that thought, I induced vomiting my dinner. What a horrible dining experience.

Great value! I came here with my family because another shabu place was full for the night, and we definitely had a good time here. The five of us spent $ 81(including tip) here and left feeling so full! There were basically two options: –Dinner set that includes a choice of meat(beef/lamb/pork/chicken), veggies, udon, and rice($ 14.99) –All you can eat!($ 20.99) Aside from that, you can add sides of meat for $ 6-$ 7 and even some shrimp or mussels for about $ 5. We opted for 3 dinner sets plus 3 sides because my family doesn’t eat a lot and we all prefer meat over veggies. It was perfect for us! I really liked the spicy miso soup. The other pot we had was chicken, which my mom liked because she doesn’t like spicy foods. Service was attentive. They came to clear an empty plate quickly and I didn’t have to try hard to get ahold of the waiters for anything. One downside is that they don’t have sake… That definitely disappointed my dad. I honestly find it odd that they don’t serve any, but that’s fine. We all still had a good time.

This place is amazing! Went here last night for dinner with 5 friends and we left the place happy, stuffed, and with money still left in our wallets. — IMPT: this place is cash only, so stop by an ATM before coming — best for small to large groups — 2 – 3 people to a pot is perfect :) — we ordered 2 beef/veggie dinner combos, 1 lamb/veggie dinner combo, 1 side of lamb, 1 side of pork, and also the ungai-don bowl to try it out — it was the perfect amount(and only about $ 13−14/each including tip), but we could have done without the unagi-don, the rice was dried out and there were only 2 measly pieces of eel — i liked the chicken broth, but the spicy miso miso was very flavorful Will definitely make a point to come here again if I’m in the area. Very friendly staff, huge portions of healthy food, and a relaxing atmosphere!

A shitload of meat. That pretty much sums it up. It doesn’t get better than this place. You get unlimited meat and veggies for $ 21. We ordered the spicy miso and sake broths. Spicy miso was good, but could have been a little more spicy. Sake broth was a little sweet, but what the hell do I know… first time I had a sake broth. They also hooked us up with shrimp and mussels because we were a larger group(of 5). And then they threw in a scoop of ice cream for good measure. This place is definitely run by Chinese people, but since I’ve never had real Japanese shabu shabu before, I don’t know the goddamn difference. And the gas burners make it seem like you should be doing it yourself, at home. Throughout the meal, I thought about how much meat i could buy from Ranch 99 for $ 21+tax. I could probably buy about 4 pounds of meat. So minus 0.25 stars for all of those complaints. Other than that, this place is a heaven where you eat until you’re ready to throw up. Yummy!

CASHONLY! I’m still in shock over the fact that there was a one man crew, poor guy! This has to be one of the cheapest shabu places that I’ve ever been to, $ 20.99 for all you can eat BUT like what Cherylynn N. said«you get what you pay for.» The beef was more marbled than the pork and lamb so the beef was more flavorful. Aside from the marbleization of the meat they were pre-sliced earlier on in the day and put in the fridge, so when the plate comes out to the customer it comes out a bit frozen and it was a little off putting(the meat had a brownish tint and looked like meat that’s been sitting out for hours). =X For our soup bases we went with the Spicy Miso and Sweet Soy, the spicy miso was a bit bland and needed MORESALT(everyone kept flocking back to the sweet soy). The sweet soy was pretty good because it flavored the meats unlike the bland spicy miso! =T For your dipping sauces you have your ponzu sauce and your peanut sauce, the ponzu sauce was good but when is it ever not good? The peanut sauce was really running and watered down and lacked flavor, dipping the meat in there really made no difference. By the time the meat reached my bowl all the sauce had basically ran away from the meat! So my suggestion is don’t even waste your time dipping your meat into the peanut sauce and spend all your time dipping it into the ponzu sauce. =) Service was slow because there was only one person holding down the fort so I understand. BUT what I can’t understand is why would you have a one man crew working when it’s dinnertime, it’s bound to get busy!!! Shabu Lounge in my opinion is just okay but I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon, sorry!

Ain’t this the perfect«summer» weather for Shabu? While I should be licking ice cream cones, the bi-polar weather lately has me finding comfort in foods that will warm my tummy and my soul, hence a la Shabu Lounge. Yesterday, 7.11.11, we took one of our friends to Shabu Lounge for dinner as a «thank you» for having to babysit us on the weekends and dealing with our drunken debauchery. Thanks, P! After having G Cube Café last week which blew Shabu House out of the water, Shabu Lounge was slightly disappointing. Although it’s probably the CHEAPEST All-You-Can-Eat Shabu in SF, you basically get what you pay for. With the exception of the beef, the meats were hard and frozen which is similar to The Pots(I had a bad porcelain throne experience there) which I heard is the same owner. Fyi, Shabu Lounge is CASHONLY and there’s NO beer or sake. M E N U *Shabu Shabu –Soup base: Chicken Broth, Miso, Spicy Miso, Sake and Sweet Soy Sauce –Dipping sauces: Ponzu and Sesame Peanut Sauce *Set Dinner($ 14.99): Choice of Beef, Lamb or Pork w/Napa Cabbage, Spinach, Enoki Mushrooms, Shitake Mushrooms, Tofu, Ramen and Rice. *All-You-Can-Eat($ 20.99): Unlimited items from the set dinner. All dinners come with a free scoop of green tea ice cream. F O O D ~~~BROTH~~~ *SWEETSOY — 4STARS: This was everyone’s fav of the night and came recommended by our waiter. It infused a flavorful salty, savory and sweetness to all the meats. *SPICYMISO — 3STARS: All spice and very little flavor. The spice came from chili oil which became very greasy after the meats had taken a quick dip into the pool. ~~~MEAT/VEGGIES~~~ *BEEF — 3STARS: Although the most flavorful cut of meat of the night, the ends were surrounded by a slab of fat making it more like bacon than beef(I would have taken a pic, but the plates of meat were placed on a tray that I couldn’t reach). The large amounts of fat caused our broth to be very oily. *LAMB — 2.5STARS: Though tender, it was on the tougher side because of the lack of marbling. *PORK — 2STARS: Sliced paper thin, the pork was clearly frozen with a plastic like consistency. It lacked marbling causing it to be on the tougher side when cooked. *VEGGIES — 3 Stars: Although all the veggies were fresh, I didn’t care for them so much as I tend to load up on meat when I go to Shabu. ~~~SAUCES~~~ *PONZUSAUCE — 4STARS: Tangy and savory, the ponzu sauce brightened the flavors of the meat However, it quickly became diluted when the broth from the meats dripped into the sauce bowl so make sure to ask for more. *SESAMEPEANUTSAUCE — 1STAR: With the consistency of tap water, the sesame peanut sauce clearly looked and tasted like a tablespoon of peanut butter having been diluted with a gallon of water. ~~~COMPLIMENTARYDESSERT~~~ The green tea ice cream had an off taste and tasted more like banana ice cream than green tea. Very odd. S E R V I C E All I have to say is, SHAMEONYOUMANAGEMENT! I felt so bad for the ONLY waiter at Shabu who had to take orders, be the food runner, buser, and dish washer for a restaurant that was 75% packed. For over 2 hours, I watched the poor guy have to run around clearing/cleaning/setting up tables, replenish customers’ orders and take customers’ requests. He did them all to the best of his ability and with a smile on his face the entire time. I know times are tough, but leaving one person to hold down the fort during dinner service exhibits poor management by the owner. A M B I A N C E /D E C O R There’s not really a «lounge» feel to Shabu Lounge. It’s casual and low-key with black tables and white fold out chairs and one flat screen TV. The tables were not large enough to hold all the plates of food, so a tray is placed to the side of the table which makes it very difficult for people on the other side of the table to reach out and grab food. P A R K I N G Easy street parking. Despite the food being mediocre, I was going to give Shabu Lounge 4 Stars because of the service, but I woke up with a stomachache and wanted to throw up the entire time I was at the gym this morning though it wasn’t as bad as my experience at The Pots(My Unilocal review: ). My friend is probably right, The Pots and Shabu Lounge MUST be the same owners.

Came here on Friday night for some Shabu Shabu! The entire restaurant was pretty empty, probably because everyone was at The Pots just up the block. The«cook» looked familiar, maybe he worked at The Pot’s too. Service was friendly. We ordered the chicken broth and I ordered the beef and teammate ordered the chicken. Beef was good and the assortment of veggies and noodles were too. Teammate didn’t separate the chicken so it all went in in a clump. :(The chicken still had the fat stuck on it, which was gross. xP bleh… We were offered ice cream after our dinner set but we declined.

Came here with my dad and sisters tonight for Father’s Day celebration. Service was E X C E L L E N T! Their meat were thinly sliced. We had the all-you-can-eat all the way around for $ 20.99 ea person… best price in the bay! Spicy miso soup was a tad bit too spicy so we asked for a little bit of hot water. Love the ponzu dipping sauce. Finished off with green tea ice cream. Oh the all you can eat also come with veggies but who really eat veggies during shabu? I’m a happy camper! …ooh and cash only.

Still cash only, but you can walk a few blocks down to Sunset Strip Café and use the ATM with a fee of $ 2.95 or trek it back down to Irving to find the bank of your choice. Loving the new sake broth option they have — reminds me of Chinese drunken chicken. They’ve also added spam musubi and unagi-don to the menu. They still need better utensils to scoop up the food with. There’s only a ladle and a flat wire mesh one. I suggest purchasing some mesh basket type ladles. Why? You can cook udon + vermicelli in it without it dispersing everywhere and having to play hide and seek in the pot. Trust me, I am a hot pot /shabu aficionado Service is good, very very good. Waitress extremely attentive.

Came here tonight with the BF, starving after only having soup for lunch! A friend reco’d this place so I knew it would be at least decent. Ordere hte AYCE shabu and got beef, lamb and pork. Got the spicy miso broth and sweet and sour combo soup base(comes in 2 slot pot) Overall good quality food and good dipping sauces. The sweet and sour soup base is more like a salty shoyu so dont let the name fool you. We didnt prefer this soup base at all and was abit salty by end of the meal. The spicy miso was good, but we prefer this same soup base at Kufuya on 35th and geary instead. The soup base already comes iwht some tofu in it and some seaweed. The sweet shoyu broth has some black mushrooms and onions in it. the dipping sauces were a sesame, slightly on the sweet side vs peanut and then a ponzu sauce that you flavor with onions, shaved daikon and garlic. Again missign the spicy peppers like at Kufuya! The meat was good quality, sliced perfectly and cooks quickly. read some other review complaining about teh fattiness of the meat., but the fat is flavor, why would you cut that off! too lean meat= tough meat dont ya know! the veggies, udon, mushrooms and tofu and spinach come in this ginormous never ending bowl. The noodles are hidden at the bottom like some treasure and you really need to dig and push the greens away to the side to even get to the noodles. I had to cut apart the cabbage cus they were just way to huge! The presentaiton of the veggie bowl was nicely done, unlike most places that just throw everything on a plate =). Overall I didnt care for the udon, sort of mushy and also the vermicelli– it was a unusual kind– dont know what kind it is but im used to the thin japanese kind that has nice chewy texture. they also give you green tea ice cream at the end which is a nice touch. the man serving us was really nice and attentive. Overall a good place for $ 20.99AYCE in the avenues, but personally I will stick to Kufuya where I think the sauce is better, they have spicy peppers and the soup base isnt as salty! But def worth a try!

ONESENTENCE. 20.99AYCESHABU. Came here on a Wednesday night after work with a few friends. No one was inside but then again, they just opened a few weeks ago. There was only ONE guy working, but he is soooooo nice and helpful. Of course, we all ordered the AYCE beef, ended up eating about 18 plates between the 4 of us. As we were deciding on the broth choices, we asked the server for his recommendation. We were set on spicy miso and sweet soy sauce. His recommendation followed through because we all fell in instant love with these broths. Very flavorful. We soon found out shabu lounge is a branch off of the pots. The pots is more of a chinese hotpot whereas shabu lounge is more of a japanese shabu. They are adding sushi rolls soon as well. The sesame sauce was delicious, but the ponzu sauce was just okay. The meat kept coming out!!! thats all I care about at AYCE shabu. The veggies are just an extra filler, but really fresh and abundant. I wish they had fountain coke instead of canned coke so I can get unlimited refills! And I wish they had ice cream at the end of the meal=[ The guy also mentioned their prices might go up a dollar or two soon, so you better go try it out right now before missing outttt! Our total was under 100, a goooooood deal cause I was stuffed!

If you follow my reviews, you might know that I’m a pure shabu lover or should I say Shabu Addict. Even knew I was a shabu addict because they rewarded me for the«Review of the Day/ROTD» for my review on Shabuway in San Mateo. Anyways… Word of mouth and my friends checkin on facebook basically told me that there was a new Shabu place in SF. I was like WHAT? Do we need more Shabu places? They aren’t going to compete with Shabuway or Shabu House. It’s impossible. But, the owner was smart! They priced it cheap at $ 20.99 for All-You-Can-Eat option! Who can do that? Non of those high reviews shabu houses can meet or beat this price. But stay tuned for the juicy stuff… There’s always a price that you pay for the quality of food that you will get. Basically I think that this place is priced just right for the average consumer right now. This place however is pretty decent… Lots of vegetables in a large bowl(consist of Napa Cabbage, Spinach, Tofu, Mushrooms, Udon…). They don’t cheap out on the vegetables at all. But, I think their meat quality lacks. It’s really fat beef which isn’t quality meat. The beef texture does not have the fatty weave that you will see in Shabuway. In fact, it’s so much fat that I picked out all the fat to put in a pile. You can see a photo that I uploaded(link is in the cons sections of the review). They do have several different soup base. One was clear broth(chicken broth, I believe), spicy miso broth, and sweet soy sauce… Also you can have it half and half with a nice mixture. I heard they will have some other special soup base coming soon(not sure). But, these soup bases are bland(less MSG attack I guess). Ponzu sauce tasted a bit different from what I like… It’s a little sweeter? The peanut sauce is pretty good though. Pros: — Price(no one can beat this price) — Has selection of meat(pork, lamb, beef) — Had multiple selections of soup base. — Lots and lots of vegetables… Udon too! — Free Cookies & Cream /Green Tea Ice Cream included! — Good ambiance and music. Cons: — Meat quality lacks compare to other shabu places(Shabu Way or Shabu House), but what do you expect? It’s cheaper — Way too much FAT!(check out photo I uploaded here: ) — Did not have lean meat option. — Although there’s different selections of soup base, it lacked taste… Spicy Miso wasn’t spicy nor did it have a lot of miso taste. — In the middle of a random residential neighborhood. — chopped garlic wasn’t detailed enough…, meaning it was large chunks… Not like Shabuway, where it’s almost like garlic paste. — service? flag down the waiter for meat, tea, ice water. Nothing automatic compared to other places I’ve been. All in all… It depends who you want to bring to shabu. If your friends are crazy eatters and would easily kill 2 – 3 plates of meat, come here! This place is definitely the best bang for the buck. At 20.99, no one can beat it. 3.5 stars for the food and meat… Round up to 4 stars because of the price that you can’t beat.

Shabu Shabu. from one of the first places that opened in Japantown(Mums) to Shabu House and all the others. Now a new one has entered the market– Shabu Lounge. QUICKTIP: Cash only at the moment. Only open at nights. Sun-Thur 5−10pm Fri-Sat 5pm-12am midnight Alcohol license coming in 10 days. Phone lines are not up yet, so just walk in! Shabu Lounge just opened a few days ago, and we paid them a quick visit on a cold Thursday night. Shabu(Japanese style hot pot) usually only features the soup flavored base with a couple types of meat such as thin slicced beef(different qualities from prime rib beef to regular beef), lamb, and pork. They all come standard with a «Ponzu(citrus based sauce commonly used in Japanese cuisine)» sauce, the sauce varies restaurant from restaurant since they generally make it from scratch themselves. Shabu restaurants they have two options, a set dinner which includes meat of your choice, plus a variety of vegetables and noodles. Rice is usually optional but I recommend it. The other option is the all-mighty all you can eat! Generally I personally opt for the set dinner menu because I’d much rather enjoy each slice of meat one by one rather than trying to finish as many plates of meat as possible. I personally hate buffet style, because having the discipline to stop is tough! On to the restaurant– A hidden gem on Judah St.- there aren’t too many restaurants around except«The Pots»(chinese style hotpot with a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and dumplings) Same owner. Atmosphere is unique, they did not have the flat screens TV’s going yet because they are still working on some technical issues. Music plays popular old chinese/english songs. Check out the pictures to see get the feel of the vibe. On to the food! $ 14.99 for a set dinner menu of(beef, pork, or lamb) or $ 20.99 for all-you– can eat SHABU! What? This price is amazing! That is why I opted for All-You-Can-Eat! BE A MAN! DOTHERIGHTTHING! Soup Base we got half spicy miso, half sweet and sour(yes, and that is my new favorite flavor TRYIT!.. DOIT!) PS: they also have a secret base coming soon! Round of beef — They don’t have a big selection of beef such as prime rib slices like other shabu places but keep the price in mind. $ 20.99 for all you can eat! Eat your veggies! It does a body good! The price will keep you coming back for more! Its also a perfect introductory price for people who have yet to try Shabu. –SFCheapGrub

Same owners as the last restaurant, You and Me Phở, that was here, so I already was a bit hesitant to try this place out, but, hey, maybe they learned their lesson. However, I didn’t get a chance to try because the place is currently cash only. Maybe my not having any cash was an omen? Guess I’ll have to wait until next time to see… Shabu beef set is $ 13.99, all-you-can-eat option for $ 20.99. Three average stars only because I can’t tell you yet how the food is, but wanted you Unilocalers to know to bring cash!
