A talented guy with the warmest heart. Born and raised in Honolulu, he moved out to SF to attend the San Francisco Art Institute over decade ago, he’s been an SF local ever since.
Salah is a «professional illustrator and live event caricature artist».
His customers/​clientele ranges from baby’s first birthdays, to corporate office events. Bloomingdales was also a regular gig for him, how cool is that?
He also flies out to do events and also is willing to drive out to your location.
Unlike other caricature artists, Salah’s artwork are created digitally. Customers will see their caricature portrait come alive right before their eyes, stroke by stroke as it happens via the large HD display in front of them.
— He then prints out a smaller pic for the customers to take with them as a souvenir. Orders for larger prints are possible as well.
— He also does oil-​based paintings as well.

We had Salah at our wedding and everyone loved him! Salah’s drawings are spot on for all our guests. There are some artists out there that make people look evil or just plain wrong, not Salah though. My friends and I still look at his drawings and laugh at how it looks like us. Aside from being so talented, he has a great personality! He was so great that a few of my friends asked for his contact info to see if he can be at their weddings. Throughout the night, I heard from the guests how easy going he is and he was nice enough to draw a caricature of me and my husband based on a picture we gave to him because we didn’t have time during the wedding to get in done in person. Next time there’s another event, I would definitely see if he’s available again.
