Top notch piano moving — fast, respectful of the space and the piano, friendly and great price for the work. Neil got me out of a bind when I stupidly loaded a 500-​lb piano into my truck. I needed it out fast and up my 2 flights of stairs. He called me back within a few business hours of my message, stopped by my house same day to see if the piano would even fit, and did the move the very next morning. He, Kieran and Brian were friendly and even made my piano predicament fun because they were happy and hardworking, even singing/​whistling at times. I still felt they were professional and I was comfortable having them handling a prized possession and in my home. The price I paid was comparable to two other companies I had looked at that were not available for a number of days. Kieran also gave me lots of recommendations to get my new, but actually old piano back to a beautiful state. I loved these guys, and highly recommend.

Statewide is the best moving company. Even the person who gave them 2.5 stars said their moving service is 5 star. Ask for Dennis if you want 5 star customer service. Reliable, trustworthy, on time and reasonable. Especially fantastic at moving pianos. They are Piedmont Pianos only delivery company.

Friends of ours had used them, had gotten a great price from them and recommended them to us. I called Dennis at Statewide to get a rough idea on pricing and availability. He wouldn’t give me a ballpark and then took a week to come to my house and give me a price. At that time he gave me a price range that was twice what my friends paid, but told me that if the move went well and we moved a lot of the small/​fragile stuff it would be less. In the end he actually charged my at the high end of the range despite my family having moved every small/​fragile item in the house.
When I called later to ask Dennis why I was charged more than twice what my friends paid (whose house was a similar size, but with a bit less in it) I got 100% push back. At first he was polite about it, but when I pressed him further he got agitated and basically told me that he accepted none of my feedback as a customer. He then begrudgingly offered me a sub-​10% refund, but did it in such an insulting way that I couldn’t even respond. I wished him luck and ended the discussion.
So, to sum up, great movers, really fast. They use a small truck which is a little odd when they have to haul multiple loads, but that was mostly fine (other than my contractors not being prepared for them to show up with the first load an hour after the move started). But in terms of customer service, Dennis clearly lives in the «customer is stupid» world of customer service. Very disappointing.

I had the best possible experience with Statewide Moving recently when moving from SF to LA (which they accomplished in one day). Researching moving companies was daunting, and luckily a friend recommended Statewide to me. Denis, Kieran, and the rest of the crew were professional, super friendly, quick, and affordable. Most importantly, they handled my belongings with care. They did an excellent job, and I highly recommend their services!

There is nothing bad I can say about the company and the people that work for this company. Dennis and his co-​workers were prompt, courteous, dependable and absolutely a pleasure to work with. I was re-​carpeting my entire home and needed my Grand Piano to be removed from my sunken living room temporarily and then moved backed into the room upon carpet installation. This was all done over a two week span. During the entire process Dennis returned calls promptly, arrived when he said he would be there and made the piano move seem effortless. I would recommend this company to anyone, very professional, dependable and a company anyone would be impressed with. Triple A rating in my opinion.

Just hired Kieran and his team from Statewide moving and they were simply great! They packed all our precious china and Chrystal glasses in a very professional manner and the move was done in a timely manner with no breakage or damage.
Everyone was very friendly during the whole day, they even put our bed frame together!
I will definitely use them again for another move.

Simply stated these guys were awesome. Prompt and as friendly as can be. I used them in August for my move into a house. Plenty of steps and a couple of really heavy pieces. Nothing but smiles from those guys. Money well spent. Using them again for another move as we speak.

Great service and reasonably priced. They pay attention to detail and can move quickly without rushing. They’ve moved my family once within SF and moved my inlaws from Chicago to San Rafael. They helped many of my friends move whom I’ve referred them to. They don’t mind taking on hard jobs in tight places.
