I have been taking regular private, semi private and group lessons from Steven for about 7 years. I went from a total beginner having never picked up a racquet to being a finalist in 2 tournaments the year before last(with ever improving results in between). He is a believer in good technique, and works with you to get the results you are looking for while still keeping it fun. He does a great variety of drills and is always looking to broaden his arsenal of training tools, including training with world class tennis fitness trainer Pat Etcheberry(who trained Justine, Andre, Pete, Jelena, etc.). Being on the courts now for several years, I have seen a lot of other coaches and I can honestly say that Steven ranks at the top in my opinion. If you want to learn the game or brush up on your technique, give Steven a call.

I have taken tennis lessons on and off for years. Steven is a skilled instructor who can improve your game whether you are a beginner or just need a tune up. He is enthusiastic and an all around great teacher. Taken individual lessons and group lessons from him, both great.

I’ve studied with a few tennis instructors, and Steven is my favorite. He keeps it fun AND focused. His experience as a player really shows through, and he has a nice way of motivating his students in a soft way. I’ve done both group clinics and private instruction with him, and I recommend both! One of my favorite things about him, as well, is how personally connected he is to the people in the neighborhood around the courts. He really loves the game and brings it into life!
