This is probably my favorite burgers I have ever had. We ordered super burger and mini burgers. The beef insider is juicy and favorable! The garlic fries are covered by garlic and cheese, everything is awesome. I will definitely come back again!

They serve a serious amount of meat in their burgers, which I obviously approve of. Trust me, you will not leave this place hungry. The patties were cooked well(medium), but they were a tad too salty. Nonetheless, I was quite satisfied with my meal’s taste, portion, and value, but I’d rather eat Burger Lounge in San Diego. But, Super Duper is better than 5 Guys if that’s any consolation.

I have eaten at Super Duper at least a dozen times. This is my first review after my conversion to wimpy, communistic, patchouli-smelling vegan. Quick note for meat eaters: I highly, highly recommend ordering your next Super Duper burger with one meat patty, one veggie patty. This approach halves the aggressive quantity of saturated fat, solves the«grease» problem that many reviews complain about, and adds a bunch of rich flavors that are missing from the standard, hamburger. Ok, on to the vegan veggie burger. It’s really, really good. The server I spoke to was super cool about guiding me to a vegan version of the burger served on ciabatta bread(the standard buns aren’t vegan). She also said, «you’ll want no special sauce, since that contains mayo,» and she was right. I love it when staff are educated and joyfully accommodate special requests. Major kudos for the super friendly attitude. That alone makes me want to return to this location. In case you’re wondering, here are the ingredients in the veggie patty, based on internet research: * Organic cooked brown rice * Water * Organic corn * Organic carrots * Organic onions * Organic green peppers * Organic rolled oats * Organic red bell peppers * Organic soy protein isolate * Organic canola oil * Organic high oleic sunflower oil * Contains 2% or less of broccoli, sea salt, carrageenan, organic soy sauce, organic onion powder, konjac flour, organic garlic powder, organic spices The ciabatta bun was toasted a nice medium brown, and the seasonings, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, grilled onions, and other ingredients on the«everything on it» sandwich provided me with a filling, savory, handheld treat. I’d have added avocado to kick it up a notch, but they charge extra for that and I was curious how good the«basic» veggie burger would taste. I arrived at lunch hour. This location was hopping, with a big line that moved fast, with on-the-ball cashiers, and plenty of seating, even at rush hour. Final note — I appreciate that Super Duper is trying to offer a «better burger» and think that they achieve this goal. If you must have a burger somewhere, this is a great choice. But consider the veggie burger on your next visit, and do cows(and your body) a kindness.

What happened to this place? We’ve been here at least 20 times, but had not been for awhile and stopped by here last night. We first went to the one on Market street, one block over, and they were out of burgers. So we walked here. This location was out of tomatoes and lettuce. They can’t figure out how to keep their kitchens stocked? The burger flavor was okay, but boring without additions, The garlic fries were disgusting. There was literally a pool of OIL at the bottom of the container and they were not cooked properly. We had a nice time at the Strand seeing Chester Bailey, so the evening wasn’t a bust.

My go-to place for a cheat meal. The burgers are beyond tasty, the fries with 3 dips are also delicious, and I wash it all down with a chocolate malt milkshake. This is also where I send anyone when they are on the hunt for a good burger. It’s quick, easy, and delicious.

Their name says it all. We liked this place so darn much, we went there twice in one day, after the day we tried it the first time. This was our favorite burger in San Francisco based on a number of reasons that I will share with vivid detail. The atmosphere is nice and the service is fantastic. The cashiers were very helpful and friendly. They set up the atmosphere right off the back. They were very knowledgeable and were willing to make great suggestions. They sell beer. That’s a huge plus for me right off the back. The interesting thing was that their selection was different at both locations we tried, cool points from me. I really like small sides and they have a jar of pickles you can pick from, as much as you like. Thank you for that. I don’t know if that’s a SF thing because the other joints we tried nearby did the same thing. Down to the main meal. The burgers are good, like really good. It’s one of the best decent price burgers I’ve tried. Really, they’re good. I don’t go to a place several times within 24 hrs unless it had something good to offer. The meat is full of flavor, perfectly cooked, good size, juicy, fresh ingredients, and soft bread. Good balance. The fries were also good. Not too salty, not too skinny or thick. I’m making this sound like Goldie Locks, but this place provides products that are all quality. It shows itself in the taste and flavors. If you’re in SF, check it out. Especially if you’re on budget and don’t want to cut down on quality. I’ll be coming back to this place for sure. It will be one of my must stops when I’m In the city. Thanks Super Duper Burgers. You made my belly happy several times. You guys really are awesome.

This probably my favorite hamburger restaurant in SF. I love the food and the staff is always patient even when the line is crowded. The best things are the food and the staff. Free pickles while you’re waiting for your order is also a plus. The worst part: your hamburger vanishes very fast. Last time we were here garlic fries looked more like regular fries but they were also pretty tasty. Their chicken sandwich is worth the price if you need a healthier option.

It’s good… but not out of this world great. This review is more like a 4 ½ stars. Kind of reminded me of Shake Shack. Ordered the mini burger with«everything on it.» And that means lettuce, tomatoes, onions and their special sauce. To me, that sauce was like the In n Out spread. The mini was perfect for small eaters. My boyfriend got the normal sized burger… same patty/bun size but the only difference is he gets two meat patties. NOTE: their patties are cooked medium. If you want it well done, make sure you specify that. That’s what I did. Also, any additional fixins like avocadoes, bacon or bleu cheese will cost you extra. I think $ 1.50 more for EACH special item. Only reason why I knocked off half a star(remember, this is technically a 4 ½ star rating) was because the burgers were dripping in grease. I know someone have mentioned that before but man… they were right. I had to use a least 3 napkins to soak off all that grease. We also got their parmesan garlic fries to share. Honestly, it’s small enough for one serving size. If I was hungry that night, I would’ve told him I want one all to myself!!! =)

As good as it gets for sure! So happy to see Super Duper still doing well and tasting as good as they opened day one. I love the mini burger with bacon and cheese, even avocado sometimes, with all of the toppings + fries. Dying to try the breakfast sandwich too!

Not bad… Juicy burgers but their Cheese garlic fries are lack luster without much cheese or garlic.

Pretty famished after a thorough tour of the spiffy new MoMA, where I elected not to pay $ 11 for a pre-made sandwich on the rooftop terrace so that I could finally investigate Super Duper Burgers. By the time I got back to the car(5th and Mission garage literally a block away), my Super Burger(to go) had disintegrated the entire bottom bun, which became so mushy with grease there was no saving it. Had to flip over and eat like an open faced sandwich. Quality of the patty and produce was excellent and fries were good. Will probably order a mini-burger or eat on the premises next time and deftly maneuver lettuce to shield the bottom bun.

Homemade pickles and mayonnaise and all so good on top of a super duper juicy burger! So good after a long day walking around the Embarcadero. We were relieved when we found this spot open later than most restaurants in the area. This burger was the real deal, definitely fresh and juicy. The bun was a soft and delicate and all toppings were great. Over all a great burger!

Lives up to its name! The mini burger is more than enough to fill me up. I always get the grilled onions just like I do at In N Out, and it definitely adds another flavor dimension. The ingredients are all fresh and the burgers are aesthetically pleasing so you know the chefs took care in making them. Garlic Fries W/Aged Cheddar — Perfect side. The cheddar is sharp and flavorful, and makes you want to keep on eating. They also offer homemade pickles in the condiments section, and I always grab a bunch because they provide a refreshing break from the heavy burger and fries.

Very good. Ordered the mini burger with an egg… personally I like the egg not as runny. But over all 4⁄5 Love the garlic fries. Husband thought it was too garlicky but I thought it was perfect. Strawberry milkshake very good. Wish it was bigger Love love the pickles. I might go buy a jar to take home.

Decided to try something new since most restaurants were closed on Easter Sunday. Ordering was pretty simple and I was given a buzzer once I paid. Super Burger has 24oz patties. Patties are smaller so the burgers are very manageable in size. Added a slice of cheese for a whopping $ 0.75, but the burger can’t be complete without it. I also really loved the grilled onions that added a slight sweetness. I love that the garlic fries have some aged cheddar cheese on top that makes it extremely flavorful. Overall, meal was slightly more expensive compared to something equivalent at in-n-out, but the garlic fries and thicker patties makes it unique.

Their burger quality is exceptionally desirable. I would say their burgers are a cross between fast food and gourmet. The meat is really thick and juicy which gives it the gourmet feel and the fast food part is everything else in the burger. I ordered the mini burger which is just 1 meat patty and added jalapeños and grilled onions on it. Didn’t have grilled onion in it but I was too lazy to go and tell them. Really good size where the burger fit right into my hand. The only thing I noticed was that they kind of skimped out on the lettuce. Just one small piece was in mine and I didn’t find that enough for me. Their garlic fries were delicious though. A little oily at the bottom of the tray it was in but their was the garlic flavor on every fry that I ate, which is what you want for garlic fries!

I came upon this burger joint as it is located directly across the street from the hotel I was staying at. I came for a very late lunch so it was not crowded at all. You place your order at the register and they hand you a buzzer which goes off when your food is ready. This gives you plenty of time to find a seat in their 2 level establishment. I ordered the Mini Burger with cheese which is a 4 oz. beef patty that definitely filled me up. The burger was reminiscent of a Shake Shack burger, which is a positive because I loove Shake Shack. The burger was fresh and made medium rare– definitely hit the spot for my burger craving! I also got the garlic fries as my side and OMG it was soo yummy! I loved the fresh garlic that topped the fries and the cheddar cheese that covered it wasn’t overwhelming at all. Also, don’t forget to try their free homemade pickles! This is definitely a great, casual lunch spot to try out if you’re ever in the area and have a burger crave!

With a name like Super Duper Burger, obviously any burger lover would flock to the place. That’s exactly what I did. The inside has that very fast casual look and feel that you would see in a Chipotle. There is an upstairs and downstairs dining room, both full by the time we walked in. A good sign! At the register we laid down our order, mine being the Super Burger(two 4 oz. patties, super sauce, and all the usual burger toppings) plus cheese(and extra 75 cents). Ollie took our order. He was extremely friendly, and once we found out this was our first time dining here he told us the low down about the place. He even included the part about their beers and a happy hour. If we weren’t on a time constraint that is something that might have been looked into. The burger was good and messy, plus cooked the way I wanted it, rare. I’m not sure what the Super Sauce is but it did taste good. We both ordered regular fries, yet there was still a garlic flavor that elevated them. Everything tasted awesome, including their homemade pickles they have at the condiment station. A place like this very well deserves the name they have given themselves.
