This has become my favorite place for hamburgers ab fries, just fantastic. You will no regret going there.

Finally got a chance to try this place. Like so many others had seen it on Triple D a few years ago. Played 18 at Lincoln and I could barely walk after(I walked the course this time). I limped down to Tee Off and took a seat in the back. The bartender /server is a nice guy. This is a dive bar as so many others have said, so don’t think it’s not but if you don’t care this can be a fun place. I asked for a small side of mac and cheese because I wanted to try it. He said they couldn’t because they cook it up in a big skillet. To my amazement he appeared about 10 minutes later with a side of mac and cheese! It was very good. My wife is a mac and cheesaholic so I’ve had plenty. I wouldn’t say this is the best I’ve tried but it is very good. I ordered the pork chop for my entrée. When it came I was blown away. For one it is a huge dish. The chop was amazing. Brined and cooked perfectly. Definitely up there with one of the best I’ve ever had. What I really loved though were all the wonderful veggies on the side. Corn on the cob, steamed and sautéed brussel sprouts, zucchini, squash(butternut squash and spaghetti squash) and a few other julienned veggies with a nice serving of garlic mashed potatoes. I found myself really enjoying every bite of the meal. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was absolutely the best winter dish after a long cold day on the golf course. I didn’t even notice they have a hand warmer machine that I could have really used when I first came in. My hands were freezing and when I finally discovered what this was I was totally impressed! This place is really the perfect place to go after a long day on the golf course.

What do you do when you run out of date night ideas? Head to your nearest bar and bet on who will get the next months tab for dinner through a game of ping pong! Scrolled through Unilocal and came across this bar. This Review is solely based on the atmosphere. My bf and I came here after dinner to play ping pong. Yes, ping pong and it was great! The staff was friendly enough to try to find ways to make the back patio brighter for us. Too bad there weren’t enough lights but either way, I appreciated their effort. I wish they can add more lights and clear out the clutter in the back but I overall it was a fun spot to hang out at. The back patio reminded me of my friends backyard. Just really laid back, no frills kind of place.

My friend took us to this place for a casual Sunday dinner and drink. At the first sight, I was little taken back because it did not look like a place that served dinner(though it says«Grill»). It looked like a typical dive. It was quiet, and only two other tables were filled. The menu was very limited, and some of the items on the menu were not available. However, what we ordered tasted pretty good. We ordered fried calamari, chicken wings, fried mushrooms, burger, linguine and pulled pork sandwich. They all tasted fresh, and I loved the big portion! Out of all we ordered, fried calamari was my favorite! Super crispy, not greasy, nicely seasoned, and off course a lot of it in the basket! I inhaled all the little crispy bits left in the basket knowing that it was no so lady-like. Yum:)

Great vibe always! Try the Macaroni and cheese some of the best in town by far! The Star Wars décor is also a plus! Don’t spend too much money on the juke box always a guilty pleasure!

I so want a good bar in the outer Richmond. The Tee Off is not it. On the upside, there is a great choice of beers and the kitchen is open late, with lots of good comfort food. The downside: bartenders are surly and judgemental, the bathrooms are filthy and I also don’t like having lots of pets in a restaurant. I am still searching for a local watering hole that actually appreciates its customers, but until then I have to put up with the Tee Off.

They got my order wrong and the waiter was cussing out the bartender for playing Christmas music. I dropped $ 30 for a sub par lunch and nasty atmosphere. Never coming back here again.

Super good fish & chips and Mac & cheese! Oh, and great ginger beer too. I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the place and the service was a little slow… But they did only had one server, so it was understandable and the food was worth it!

This place is awesome! We were greeted by Daniel when we came in. We felt at home and very comfortable. The best word to describe this place is randomness, but that’s what we loved about the place. And the food, absolutely phenomenal. We will certainly be back.

I’m giving this an extra star because it’s the only place with room to breathe. It’s a Friday night. There’s one bartender. She’s THE slowest bartender I have ever seen. She’s paying attention to what seems to be her friends on one side of the bar. Keeps staring at us with said friends and apparently does not wanna serve us. It’s been about 30 mins. No service. There’s only about 30 people here. 10 of which are at the bar not ordering anything. Wtf. Not worth it.

My step dad use to come here so I thought I’d try it here today. I ordered a cheese burger and it was delicious with lots-o-yummie lettuce, tomato & red onion. My doggie loved it here too & they gave her a bowl of water. Everyone was friendly to the puppy & me. Fun place & I can see why my step liked it.

This is a real hole-in-the wall dive bar serving 5 star comfort food and awesome beers on draft. I highly recommend going on Thursdays — they put on a great trivia and serve pitchers of local beer. Very friendly staff/bartenders and the atmosphere is eclectic(think: mismatched furniture + star wars table cloth + turf carpet + dog friendly). Staple orders: Mac & Cheese, Fried Calamari(app), Baked Brie(app) the pulled pork sandwich and fish n chips are also great!

Really liked the double pork chops. Nice presentation! My aunt ordered the fish and chips and I was jealous. Getting that next time. Nice, light batter. My hubby ordered the ribs and he was happy. Oh and we ordered the empanadas to start. Have to get those again. Fortunately, the ordered came with 3 pueces, so we didn’t have to fight over them. We don’t share. Lol. Definitely a place to come back to!

This place is soo good. Went in and it was busy so I knew I had to be patient. Only one person taking orders and making drinks. I ordered pulled pork waffle cone, cheeseburger with swiss cheese, and mac n cheese. All very delicious.

I like this bar a lot. I live close and have been here three or four times and enjoyed being there each time. Some few prudish reviewers wrote bad reviews saying they smell something or that the place is dirty. That’s just false. The owner simply maintains the style of the place he likes, and doesn’t try to create some fancy appearance. I like it as is. The Star Wars toys, the baseball memorabilia, funny signs. The guy with the beard who seems to be the owner can make many excellent drinks. Ask him for his own cucumber vodka cocktail. It is one of the most unique and delicious drinks you can have. The girls who bartend when he isn’t there are very good too. Prices are much better than anywhere else as well.

Tee Off Bar SF: Outer Richmond 8pm Thursday 16th April 2015 Four Stars Thursday Trivia Night at the Tee Off Bar. If you were not aware, this is a dive bar — complete with smells, questionable table service, and relative cheap drinks. In other words, a great place to drink, eat, and be merry. We sat at a table in the back. We played trivia. Round 1&2 Victory but we faded in the later rounds. The Fish and Chips were huge. The French Fries were fresh, crispy, salty, and great when dipped in the baked brie. The baked brie was just heated up wedge of cheese — no crust. There was a whole roasted garlic bulb, apple slices, and Foccacia. Other versions featured on Unilocal looked much better. All in all, there were Plenty of pitchers of beer. Next time: Chicken and Waffles, Pulled Pork in a Waffle Cone, and Mac n Cheese.

We stumbled in here innocently enough – after a 4-mile walk to Ocean Beach and with the intent of having a chill day. Cut to 6 hours and a $ 92 bar tab later, when our friends from the neighborhood met up with us. This place is the definition of a hole in the wall, but despite the ramshackle backyard and divey interior, the food is actually really good. We got a few dozen oysters(both raw and baked), the BBQ sandwich, and multiple orders of fries(we were there for hours, okay?!) Drinks-wise, standard to cheap prices and attentive bartenders – all of whom were dressed like pirates that day. They take cards which is a plus. The night we were there(Saturday), there was somewhat of a band playing, and they graciously let us play drums with the bassist as if it was our own backyard. I loved this place and want to go back.

Cozy local dive with questionable hygiene. I have lived in the neighborhood several years but have only been in about four or five times. It has always been a warm, inviting, if extremely dark place for a beer or three. They offer a fairly extensive menu, including a massive steak, but having glimpsed the kitchen a few times on the way to the back patio, I was less than convinced to try anything created there in. It was cluttered and dingy. That said, I did venture to order the stuffed mushrooms once or twice and enjoyed them quite a bit. I was able to rationalize that they were too simple to cause any gastrointestinal distress. They were tasty and no need for alka seltzer. The ping pong table on the back patio is lots of fun and leads to great opportunities to meet fellow locals.

Amongst all the local, grimy bars the Outer Richmond has to offer, Tee Off Bar is probably my favorite. Many a Hunter S. Thompson-esque mis-adventure have started here, so it’s safe to say that I have the fondest of memories. Still, the prices are a bit steep for the locale; probably my only issue. Oh well, at least the people there are nice and congenial. Definitely worth a visit you’re around, though.

Cool spot — my friend saw it on Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives. His gf wanted to go but some how we ended up checking it out. It would be considered the last one — not the Diner or Drive In — does anyone have a drive in near them? Haven’t seen those since I was a kid. I wouldn’t seek this place out as a destination — it’s good comfort food with friendly people and a good bar — meaning well made cheap cocktails, beer selection is alright and not a wine place by any means. I think if you’re playing golf or happen to be nearby — go check it out. Don’t drive in across any bridge unless you know someone there — it’s a ‘local’ joint to have a beer and talk about sports.

The Tee off bar is another really fun place to visit when in SF, it is a cute little dive bar with a jukebox, ping pong table, arcade games, and of course adult beverages!!! I have been here a few time with my friends who live close by, and they live by it! The staff is really friendly and they are very helpful if you have questions about the brews or food. They have a variety of brew on tap, cocktails, and wines to choose from. The food is also pretty good. It is a bit pricey to my liking, but it is perfect bar food. My friend and I ordered their famous mac-n-cheese and burger and we both did not complain!!! The Mac-n-cheese is addicting, you know that you shouldn’t take another bite, yet you keep eating and eating more. The mac-n-cheese is full of cholesterol and carbs!!! perfect BAR food =))) They also include a side salad with the Mac-N-Cheese and it was to die for. Super sweet dressing that was unlike any other house dressing I have tasted before. Overall, the Tee Off Bar has yet to fail me! I will continue to be a fan and enjoy the adult fun here in this cozy urban atmosphere!

Nice bar in the Richmond district. They do have an nice choice of beers especially red one. Abbey the cute bartender was so nice and even poured one shot of each beer so I could decide which one to pick. You can also play pool but I gotta say the sticks are pretty beat up and the table is too close from the dining tables so you can not shoot the balls properly, What is cool here: there is a jukebox where you can put 2 $ for a song. PS :check the cool pac man arcade game and also the simpson action figures plus the star wars toy on the top of the bar.
