This place needs to be shutdown permanently. Every other weekend there’s a fight out in the streets involving someone getting hurt or killed. Cops and ambulances are constantly on the scene. There are tons of security guards out front but I don’t see how that affects reducing the violence that happens here.

as taffer would say: SHUTITDOWN… security is a joke, the crowd is hostile, ghetto and classless, drinks r overpriced, and the dj’s r ignorant and dont know how to mix it up and throw in some variety… in addition to all the crime that goes on here, ima stay away… shady…this place needs mr. taffer’s help ASAP…

Everyone who goes there is seeking to end their life or get robbed. Why?: Death: Robbery: They have a dress code not allowing you to wear boots and excessive jewelry, amount others. Like, really? What kind of place is that? How they know when you have excessive jewelry??? And why not boots? Because some people can pass a knife? So why would someone would want to go to a place like this? NOIDEA. Certainly, not me. And I will advise you to avoid this place.

If you want to get stabbed by people inside the club that security let in with knives go to the cellar. Worst place to go to in SF. Nothing but eastbay broke trash. Stay away

Went here last Saturday the crowd was so so. The music was decent. Drinks were hella high for no reason. They barely had any alcohol in the adiós. It was more watered down than anything. Dress code is pretty much club attire no hates no Jordan’s etc. the wait to get it is really long depending on how quickly the guards frisk you. But eh honestly I’ve been to better places before. That’s just me!

Two friends were stabbed Sunday night, one is still in critical condition. Stabbing occurred out front and not inside, but the the stabbers DID visit the bar. So in the end I alert visitors to be safe, this club plays music(which I enjoy) but can often times bring in an aggressive crowd. I will never return to this bar knowing that this isn’t the first time terrible events have occurred here.

This place is wack if you’re truly looking for a place to party with your friends. The girl bartender was hella cool but the DJ was laaaame. Played music seriously for 30 sec each and then switched off, like wtf I was feelin that? I would have NEVER paid $ 20 if it wasnt for my friend who chose the place cuz it was her bday. Your better off going to Raven Bar or Puta.

Don’t leave your jacket on reserved seating for even a second. They will take your belongings and coat check them for $ 5 each. EVEN if you choose you want to hold them. NONREFUNDABLE.

Bouncer asked us how many girls and guys we had so I said«5 guys and 4 girls» he said that’s too many guys, but 2 minutes later he let in 2 single guys in without having to wait in line. So he would rather have 2 more guys in there instead of having 4 more girls??? Maybe he wanted to have a sausage party afterwards.

Be careful of thieves at this place. Pretty sure I was pick pocketed. Went here Friday night to leave with my phone missing from my purse, my ID and Credit Card. I called the next morning to find out 6 people had called with phones that were also missing. Leave your valuables at home or in the car, pretty sure it would be safer there.

I wanted to enjoy a fun night out at Cellar night club. I was having a great time, bartenders, and all were very kind and sweet. I ran into an incident where my friend had lost her car keys. I went back into Cellar after everyone had exited and i asked the bartender, who kindly returned my friends key. As I make my way up the stairs to exit, a rather large security guard approaches me with anger, cursing and making very racist remarks, and begins to take off his shirt, as if he’s preparing to fight me. I was very shocked to hear that it was a security guard, speaking to me in such a tone. I haven’t interacted with this guard at all, so I don’t know what I would’ve done to anger him. That security guard was extremely unprofessional, he ruined my entire experience at cellar and I will no longer be going back for any more events.

This place is kind of a shit show, but in a good way. Going inside, it’s like being in someone’s armpit: hot, dark, and kind of moist. If we had to play cover, I probably wouldn’t have gone. Anyway, this place is a slice of SF life: lots of different people doing their thing, which is cool. Highlights: not super expensive for what it is. The«bottle girls» come out with these flashing lights and placards announcing«happy bday», so if you want that spectacle, you can have it. This night people were pretty chill, no jerkoffs causing problems or anything. Lowlights: friend of a friend put his jacket down and someone vomitted on it. Someone else had her phone stolen from her purse, and another friend had her wallet pick-pocketed. My advice, based on this: don’t bring a wallet or purse with you. It’s too easy to get your stuff jacked.

I don’t get out much, but when the wife and her friends want to go dancing, The Cellar is one of their favorite places. Great sound system, good traffic flow and fast bartenders. And of course, always great hospitality from Dina and Paul!

Great ass place to see fifty year old dudes wearing ed hardy clothes like there trying to bring back the douchebag from 03 type look trying to put the hunt on some 20 year old women, and you have an equal mixture of old to middle aged women who you can tell have been or are getting divorced. All i can say is guys out there late 40’s– early 70’s break out your Ed Hardy and get ready cuz there’s grandchildren out there going to the cellar you guys can holler at. Oh yea and the bartender was a supreme dick like he had a butt plug up his butt. You cant deny though it looks nice on the inside and the people watching over the place are pretty funny and chill dudes as long as you’re not being a dumbass. I’ll give it three stars because this place showed me exactly how i shouldn’t be going to the club as a grandpa with possible grand children of my own. Overall it’s not like it sucks you just have legitimate legal statutory rape going on mixed with good like music good booze and an overall good atmosphere once you ignore the ancients in full Ed Hardy regalia and what not its a decent place to party at.

Front guys(ID checker man) said ” you will get ticket! «I couldn’t park at street :(But I live close to the street. Every day some one parked a car there. Probably that parking sport for just the cellar’s customers or for some one? But nothing sigh there. Like a bus stop or hotel front. I mean NO white or red line there. Why they said I will get a ticket?

We chose to go here because they play hip hop. Paid $ 20 to get in just to stand inside a huge crowd of people and not be able to move. On top of that, the music would keep going from good to bad. Seems like they might want to get a new DJ who knows what they’re doing and stop playing songs that don’t belong at a club And so ghetto. I didn’t feel comfortable there at all. If you love ghetto clubs with ghetto people, it’s a great option.

This place is where trash goes to get even trashier. I live across the street, and this place, without fail, will always have the police and paramedics outside. In fact, they are out there right now. You should go here if you feel like getting stabbed, shot or shoved. No one who lives in the actual city of San Francisco go here.

Cellar is one of the few spots I’ll hit in the Bay Area. Most of the clubs these days are really run-down, have a creepy crowd, wack music, or a combination of those. I’ve never had an issue getting into Cellar and it’s been a great experience every time. The line gets pretty long at this spot so I recommend arriving early if you don’t have a connection. If you do know one of the staff members then I’m preaching to the choir :) Fortunately I am able to walk-in whenever I get to the city and only have to worry about parking. I’m not going to lie parking is definitely one of the biggest issues in the city. Luckily I’ve been able to find a spot within 30 minutes each time. If you don’t know how to parallel park or don’t want to deal with hunting for a spot, then you can pay $ 30 to park in the lot across the street, it’s a small lot and fills up fast though! There are also various other parking garages within a half mile in every direction that charge about $ 2.75 — $ 3 per 15 minutes(Roughly $ 33 for 3 hours). Ultimately the only way you’ll find free parking is by finding a spot on the street. Other options are to Über/Taxi to the club too. After you’ve dealt with the parking debacle you’ll be relieved to throw your inhibitions away and have a great time on the dancefloor. They usually play a mix of EDM/Hip Hop/Top 40’s and have two different rooms to choose from. They offer full bar services and the bartenders get really creative with their signature mixes. The bar manager and owner at this venue are two of the kindest and most genuine guys I’ve ever met. They always make sure that I’m having a great time and check-in periodically throughout the night. Also, pro athletes and celebrity DJs frequent this spot, so the likelihood of you running into a familiar face is bound to happen here. There are so many exciting things going on that it’s rare to find yourself having a dull moment. Check this place out any night of the week as they have events running everyday.

we chose this place to hold my gfs little sister’s 21st Bday party last friday(2÷27÷15) We reserved 2 bottles of hennessey(750ml). I really recommend getting bottle service here as the prices are much more moderate compared to other venues. Our entire party got in withoit issues and any stragglers who came later were accommodated by the staff. The booth was quite small for my liking since we had over 10+ ppl and the booth seemed to only sit 5 – 6 ppl at the most. So it is a hit or miss if you get one of the bigger next to the dj booth. When the bottles came out, it was a show and it made the Bday girl feel like all Spotlight was on her. We were happy they did that to showcase her day since it was her first night out at a club venue since she turned 21. The bathrooms are very small for a club which wasn’t a big issue, but only one stall and 2 urinals in a cell like room didn’t do well with the amount of ppl in the club. They should defintely expand it more or figure out how to fix that issue. The club owner and staff were friendly and they made sure our party was taken care of. Kudos to that.
