Everyone can officially #stoptrippin as if white people can’t dance. #okok so the younger ones still had some #splainintodo, but the senior (and senior-​senior) citizens blazed up a disco inferno the other night. #matteroffact I wasn’t sure if the ballroom would unanchor from the ground and rise straight into space during some of those jams.
…Which is to say the music was awesmaztastderfulific. The prerecorded tunes were easygoing enough, then the live band began likewise. But later they came out the funk closet with full-​on Earth Wind & Fire, #rip Michael Jackson, Sly & The Family Stizzone, Midnight Star, etc etc. Yet the most #osnap parts were their diy medlies. And when dude sang «When Doves Cry» over the Minions song? #whoaisthenewwhoa
Oh and who won the purse of the night award? No contest — #plussize hawtie with the gem encrusted tiger statuette like daayyyyyumm. With an emphasis on the «yum». ;p #holla
