OUTSTANDING PIZZA! We love this place and bring the entire yoga class here on Fridays. They usually have a group of kids there on Fridays too but they leave early. They serve delicious salads that are plenty hearty for a crowd. We are a group of 6 – 8 and generally split a Greek and Caprese salad as well as 2 large good old fashioned pizzas and everyone is full with a slice of two left over to take home. We love the mushroom and olive pizza and they have a Estefeta pizza that’s amazing. It’s got artichoke hearts, feta, roasted peppers and pesto. So yummy, and my personal favorite. I recommend extra crispy crust! We highly recommend this place, the food is awesome and the price is right. We’re pizza connoisseurs and this checks all the boxes for taste, flavor, value and a great home made crust. We’re regulars here and it’s consistently fabulous. This is a very cozy, yet spacious, family-​friendly pizzeria. Mr. Joy and I had dinner here once whilst walking around the neighborhood on a warm day.
We ordered a pizza that was half a carnivore’s delight and half an Italian supreme.
Carnivore’s Delight — pepperoni, meatball, sausage, salami &
Italian Supreme — chicken, spinach, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes:
The crust was thin and crisp along the edges, a little floppy in the center, and not too sauce-​y. I enjoyed all the toppings, except for the meatball slices. The flavor was off.
Baked Homemade Meatballs — marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese:
Meatballs were 0 for 2. They did not taste homemade to me. The flavor was a little too reminiscent of processed meat, even though they were covered in sauce & cheese.
I thought the pizza was alright. I would return for a quick slice.

$ 77 dollars for a large pizza, caprese, glass of wine & pitcher. (including tip) We asked for a side ranch and they wanted to charge us for it no exceptions. This place should be ashamed!

Ordered pizza and wings with Eat24. Mushroom, garlic, eggplant and chicken pizza. Pizza had 10 molecule size chicken bits for $ 3.80. And no mushrooms. Overpriced and upsetting. I swear that chicken wings were dated 1983. Dry, tasteless, cardboard tiny things. This is my first time ever ordering from this place and the last. Too bad because it is 3 blocks away from our house. Avoid it unless you want to overpay for really dry and tasteless food. So sad.

Best service, staff here are so nice and their recommendation on food won’t disappoint you either– give a try. Locations was great, right in the corner of the block; have phone charging service from Doblet which allows me to charge my phone without chargers of my own, like it very much.

With the caveat I have never eaten inside the place, here’s my review.
The pizza is very good American pizza. Fresh ingredients, great crust. Delivery is 45 mins or less — well not on special occasion nights like Superbowl etc, but that’s to be expected.
Last night we were driving back from Monterey and since we live three blocks away we decided to pick up. We called 30 mins out, and they said food would be ready in 25 mins. They called exactly 25 mins later to tell us the food was ready — nice no? We picked up a pie and 12 wings piping hot. Great pizza and tasty and meaty wings. If you live in Inner Richmond, this is your pizza delivery place.

Their pizza is solid. Those friends of mine who comment that they cannot get good thin pizza like in NY, tend to be placated here.
They also have reasonably priced tasty sandwiches that are worth trying.
I mainly come here for their lunch specials, which are available to a generous 4pm. They are open until 11pm, which is late for restaurants in the Richmond District.

This place is amazing! The Italian food is incredible beyond just the pizza plus it’s delivery. The food always arrives hot and fresh. If you want Italian delivered you can’t do better this.

I was happy when I found out delivery was an option. I was unhappy when the estimated time of 45 minutes was blown past by over an hour.
Located in a fun part of the Sunset a few blocks from the beach but not anywhere with a high tourist factor.
Ordered: Cheese pizza.
Cost: $ 19
$ 20 minimum for delivery. I had to order a Fanta.
Really?
I will try another place next time.

Really good pizza. Just be aware that their version of the Margarita is not the usual version.

The truly test of time my pie was made by the gods each slice of my pie had the same. Consistency of the crust the sauce that blend it very well with the clans and bacon and garlic Pizza my mouth was overwhelmed I was absolutely in heaven from the very first piece piping hot from the oven to the very last piece sitting there in the box I wanted more wow a whole extra large devoured this could very B one of my last meals

This is by far my favorite pizza place to order for delivery in the city. Their food is delicious, prices very reasonable– especially compared to what you get for the cost at some other places (cough, cough– Amici’s), and their service is above and beyond. I place very large orders for our company and they work to accommodate us and it’s always a hit with people asking where it’s from. Today I got a follow up call to ask how the order was for a happy hour yesterday. I’d thrown a few curve balls in like cutting the slices very small for finger food servings, and they did that plus calling to make sure it all worked. I’m always impressed and happy when I order here.

Ordered the Carnivore slice and Pesto w/​chicken. The former was served poorly. The meat looked unrecognizable and lacked freshness. The pesto slice made my tummy hurt.
As for their pasta dishes they’ll definitely pass… A-​ok

Hungry people fed burnt cardboard and empty pasta.
It was a sad day when Giorgio’s computer system shut down and my friend and I had to head over to Village Pizzeria for dinner.
the place was packed when we got there with a kid’s sports team taking up 90% of the tables but they left soon after and we had to wait for a table to be cleared.
the waitress sat us at the table which was wet. not damp but wet. it was pretty gross. how hard would it have been to follow up the wipe down with a dry towel?
my friend ordered two slices of pizza that were rock hard. I am surprised she didn’t cut her gums or crack a tooth. while the pizza listing did provide descriptions, the area of the menu with slices did not and we were both surprised when her margherita pizza arrived with pesto on it. Pesto?! clearly they don’t know what margherita pizza is. which, btw, is one of most recognizable dishes on the planet. My friend doused it with a hot sauce that made the burnt offerings somewhat palatable.
For me, I was craving pasta and ordered the penne with sundried tomato, chicken and mushroom. I am still looking for those ingredients. my pasta dish was just that, a plateful of boiled pasta drenched in a thin alfredo sauce. it was very bland. very. and if you are ordering something with a strong flavor like sun dried tomato you expect some flavor, you expect to see things other than pasta, at least!
they also charge for soda refills after you’ve had one refill. wow.
Our waitress barely came by the table. when she cleared my plate she didn’t even ask me how it was. I would have told her! why didn’t we send our food back? we were starving and tired. but looking back, I wish I had.
Don’t go eat at Village Pizzeria unless you like to punish your taste buds.

This place is an affront to pizzas — and humanity — worldwide. A friend and I were there recently to get some dinner and were instead met with a dining experience which now compels this review.
I ordered two slices of the «Sicilian-​style» pizza, which is to say, they bore no resemblance to thick crust pizza, but instead came out as blocky squares of what could only be described as quickly-​setting plaster of Paris. On this was draped a layer of sauce so thin that it had all but evaporated during its long sojourn in the oven. On top of this dryness was then stacked an inexplicably spartan layer of cheese (a few shreds, to be generous in description), and a disparate array of vegetables, which had no distinctive flavor of their own. After the first bite, I mused to myself that I have found even pre-​packaged school pizzas — with their artificial ingredients — to be tastier and more thoughtfully prepared than this. Honestly.
For some strange reason, the owner of this place thought it wise to distinguish his Margherita pizza — a recipe so divinely and purposefully simple — with an oily and bland pesto sauce, thereby obliterating not only the point of the original preparation, but taking away from the fresh tomato taste that is unique to this recipe. As I bit into it, the tomatoes that were inartfully thrown on top slid off in various directions, urged forward by the pesto slime, which itself bore no resemblance to its tastier, saltier cousin.
The bottom of these blocks were burned, which made for a startling revelation, as my teeth were confronted with a hard and bitter ending, equally unforgiving on the gums. I tried softening the whole mess with a habanero hot sauce (requested expressly for this purpose), which was the only redeeming item of the night, and which was a local variety made by a company outside of the establishment. For all of its hardness, the crust could not claim even the slightest bit of airiness or save itself with a simple brush stroke of olive oil. No corn meal crust for all of that unyielding crunch. Just flour dough. Hard, dense, blocky, tasteless dough.
Our waitress refilled my friend’s soda order, but, seeing my empty glass of water, didn’t come back to fill it up. I didn’t bother asking, as the waitstaff’s presence was a mixed bag of being present merely to clean up the occasional table or take an order, then disappearing together into the recesses of the kitchen. No one came in the middle to ask if our food had been prepared to our liking.
This place has no right to serve anything originating from Italy. I should have known what I was getting into when the smell of pizza didn’t even waft out of the front door. Don’t waste your money here; go down a block or two to Giorgio’s to eat real pizza, and real food.

Ok, I’m not a fan of pizza, but I came here on the urging of a friend. I managed to dine here twice, so this review is the culmination of two good experiences here.
First time around my GF and I went half and half on a pizza, and also got a chicken sandwich.
Décor is nice, servers are personable, and the place is clean. We chose half Village Special, and half Italian Special, in a Neopolitan. I’ll just say I’m still craving that thin crust Italian special, with delicate flavor from the fresh Mozzarella and the other mild ingredients. The chicken sandwich was typical, but not so much my style. Had a great time here, and looking forward to coming back.
Second visit I found myself creating my own sandwich… which is a dream for a sandwich connoisseur like me. Village had all the ingredients for a home run… It was the Chicken/​Bacon sandwich, but instead of red sauce, the roll was dressed with garlic butter, and I added lettuce and tomato. KILLER SANDWICH, not on the menu.
Can’t wait to go back!

All I can say is Oil and Garlic pasta. They make this just the way my Uncle did. The service is always cheerful and they are on top of everything.
I’ve had a few different dishes here, the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is just as good.
Don’t forget to have the brownie!

Ordered a large thin crust & hot wings.
Pizza was very good, tasty toppings, exterior of the crust was pretty dry/​crunchy which I don’t like, but my girlfriend does.
Wings were good & meaty. They came with carrots and celery which is nice. I asked for blu cheese but got ranch — I absolutely hate it when that happens which is about 75% of the time at any given place I order wings.

Skip these. They taste like the hot wings you buy at Costco and then microwaved. No crispiness to the outside. Just mushy and not very appealing.

These slices are huge! My four slices came in what I’m guessing is an extra large pizza box. I really liked the Pesto slice. Nice and simple with the pesto and cheese. The Carnivore delight also fulfilled my meat craving. I just wish it had mushrooms on it as well. The Italian and Clam slices were good too, but my fav was really the Pesto.

The roommate ordered this one. The whole pizzas are a little breadier and have more cheese and toppings. So much so that the toppings kept falling off. But I’m more about toppings than the crust, so I didn’t mind.
If I was just rating their whole pizza and chicken wings, I’d give Village 3 stars. But since they deliver individual slices, I’m bumping them up to 4. Perfect for someone like me who always wants to order at least 2 different pizzas!

We came here for lunch because the kids wanted pizza but Georgio’s was crowded. At first I was hesitant about this place because it was high noon and not a customer to be found.
Service was prompt and friendly. The waitress even engaged the kids. We ordered the large neopolitan Village pizza. It was good but sort of soggy in the center. That’s ok, eat it with a knife and fork in the beginning and then pick it up and eat with your hands.
What I didn’t like was their homemade meatballs. They were sort of dry and pasty looking for some reason.
Great service and ok pizza.
