Lowering Vivi to a 3: although she has great prices, you really just can’t rely on her. She literally waits until the last minute to do your stuff. The only way to reliably NOT waste time going to her shop and finding out your clothes aren’t done is to lie to her about your pick up time and actually show up either several hours later or several days later.
If I didn’t live half a block a way, this would barely be worth my time.
She’s only open on weekdays, 9:30am to about 6pm (sometimes 6:30, sometimes 7pm). I work in Palo Alto with a long commute, so there is no way for me to come to her shop except on my one work from home day a week. I came this morning to drop off a couple of pants that needed mending. She said she’d be done by 6pm. I come at 5:50pm on my way to something else and she hasn’t started and needs another 15 minutes. At this point I can’t wait and I have to leave — now I won’t have my stuff for another week because of our schedules.
Not reliable! Make sure to have time to kill to wait while she actually starts on your clothes. Or just give a false deadline and come way after.
