Vivian Takach – Officiant

Let me start by saying my wife and I live in Georgia but most of her family lives in the bay area so we decided to have our wedding out there. Our ceremony and reception was at the Oceano Hotel and Spa in Half Moon Bay, it was a great venue! but thats for another review. Date was 11÷24÷12
Searching for vendors is never easy but doing it across country makes it worse! My wife and I are very picky and worry about all the small details. I can’t even be sure which one of the numberous sites we used that we actually found Vivian on but I contacted her the first time about 2 months before the ceremony. Her price was reasonable but we were on a budget so we decided to have a family member do the ceremony to save a little money. Long story short about a week prior we realized that wouldn’t work. Unfortunatly it was only a few days before Thanksgiving and we had noone!
Vivian was one of the few officiants that we were interested in prior to this realization so I decided to email her on the monday before Thanksgiving, 5 days before our ceremony. I had no idea what her response would be since it had been so long since our last conversation but as always she was polite and professional. She didn’t up her rates due to it being last minute, which at this point we totally would have understood if she did. We asked to skype with her just to meet her prior to the ceremony and dispite having a new born to take care of she took a few minutes to chat with us which was also nice.
As far as the vows are concerned you can be as hands on, or hands off as you want. She is totally fine with customization.
Day of the ceremony, she shows up dressed professionally and is a great speaker! everything went as it should and we couldn’t have asked for more.

I asked if she could speak Mandarin, the answer was no. But from what I remember she does speak Hungarian and German.

I am a wedding planner in the bay area and she is my go to officiant. She is very affordable and does an amazing job. She is always on time, co es to the rehearsal, and runs the ceremony very smoothly. She is very easy to work with and very professional. I use her every chance I get.

She is very responsive, which was important to me as a bride-​to-​be under stress. Her flexibility allowed me to plan a ceremony the way I wanted it. During the planning process, she offered unlimited communication and advice, and gave us lots of reading recommendations that we needed. Vivian was also able to come to our rehearsal, which we really appreciated.
On the day of, she conducted herself wonderfully, spoke clearly, dressed appropriately, and everything went smoothly and according to plan!

Vivian did an excellent job at our wedding on a very hot day at Casa Real in Livermore. She was very professional and followed through with all that was expected of her services.
We would definitely recommend her to anyone that is on the search for a officiant that will deliver a beautiful ceremony.

Vivian officated my simple Hawaiian style wedding at the Japanes Tea Garden in Hayward. Although it was a small event, I wanted someone who would be able to perform a traditional Hawaiian wedding. Vivian made everything perfect. We were all unorganized and confused, but Vivian was calm as can be. I had wrote our vows, and emailed them to Vivian before hand, and she performed our ceremony perfect. She read our vows loud for everyone to hear. There was even a moment where I had switch up my own vows that said «to speak openly and honestly, to listen to you, I said «I would TRY to listen to you». Vivian gently knudged me and giggled. Everyone else at the wedding got a giggle too. Vivian was extremely helpful in the weeks coming up to the wedding. She kept in close with me. It felt really good knowing that she was prepared, because I was a wreck. Over all in turned into a great day, and I appreciate Vivian for all she did. Thank you so much Vivian to making our day even more special.
